Saving question on this long DLC

So I just finished the 'Small Tournament' trophy. You know, the five rounds with five waves in all three coliseums. That itself seemed long, so I just can't wait for the larger challenges. I'm assuming it's pretty much the same thing with more rounds/waves. Here's my questions...

1. Can I do one coliseum, get the silver trophy, and then save and come back later and do another coliseum? I would then do that in three long sessions. Or do I need to do all three larger challenge coliseums at the same time?

2. If I can do them individually, about how long does each larger challenge take so that I can set aside the appropriate amount of time?

Hey to answer your questions,

1. Yes you can do the 3 coliseums in 3 different sessions which is what i ahve done.
2. The larger coliseums take a while to do, if you are doing the splitscreen method then it would take about 2-3 hours to complete each coliseum (depending on your main character level). My character is level 46 and i completed each coliseum in just over 2 hours i think

It is going to be a long grind as it gets soooooo repetitive!

Yes.
Wich sucks, as i never so far had this feeling in the whole game (middle of PT2).
But the Dome Challenges really got on my nerve.

Well, not really ruined, as the Game is still very good.
Its just the Trophies from that DLC wich suck (and made me take a break from Borderlands after playing it for 3 weeks or so nonstop...).
Wich, gives it a bad taste, yes.

2) It took me (with the host exploit) about 2(-3 hours) per challenge

Also, if you die, you get set back 3 rounds I believe. Sooo.. Don't die

I have to say it has taken such a long grind, it made me not want to play the game for months. I am just now coming back to and doing my last coliseum, I'm 8 rounds in under 40mins.
