Who thinks there really is a platinum?

So I was reading somewhere that there is possibly a platinum trophy that will be in the game as part of dlc. Does anyone think this is a possibility? Knowing a platinum is on its way to the game would give me enough incentive to buy a copy, otherwise I probably won't purchase it, not yet at least.

I think the only person that truly believe this is the developer, and because of that, he has tricked people into believing it has/will have a Plat. He also said the Plat was a secret trophy. He just doesn't know what he's talking about.

I still bought the game anyways. The game will never have a platinum trophy.

Fun game ... and to me worth the $, but no plat does suck. I doubt the game will receive DLC to take add on a plat - has that ever happened in another game?

I was following the whole missing platinum issue as it was first happening on the playstation blog, twitter, and elsewhere. The general vibe that I got was that James Mielke (the guy doing all of the talking from Q Games) seems to find trophies to be trivial and silly. Instead of just providing an honest answer, which he should absolutely have been able to do, he decided to just screw with the "losers" who care about trophies.

I really like the game and would have bought it without trophies, but a full trophy list would have been awesome and would have given long time lumines players something to shoot for because the small and simple list that we ended up with was a breeze. As someone who loves lumines, I do feel that $40 is too much for this.

yeah the developer said it did have a platinum on twitter, but ive yet to see it. i think he was just trolling.
