Question about game save

is this true that game saves data only after you finish complete episode? so if you like did cople of missions and had to go it won't save? or is it just on a PC version?

no, saves at the end of each chapter.

area > chapter > episode

Yeah as juzam said, but to be more specific.
In each Chapter you go through areas, those areas you can only hit Continue, it wont save, after you complete all the areas in the chapter you'll get to the Chapter Results, that's where you have the option to Continue or Save and Return to Main Menu. That's where it saves.
There isn't an Episode complete menu if i remember, when you complete an episode it just goes over after the last Chapter Results screen and says Episode X Complete.

If you leave after only completing an area, it wont save any of the good jobs or whatever you did. So if you got an important GJ you needed, make sure you stick through. And also make sure your teammates dont die and kill the battle gauge =P

Do you really lose all progress if you get a game over and still continue?

Yes, the option to continue or quit is just there so you can either try the chapter over again, or leave the crappy players you were with and find another room. So you start over, you dont continue from where you left off.

Only thing im not sure of is ever since the patch that made some things in the game easier, such as being bale to continue in the same area as the boss rather than start the chapter over after you reach them. If you die there and continue from there, i'm sure it would save all your gains from the previous area after your completion of course.
