I don't understand why developers even include trophies like this. Having to do something perfectly for 10 minutes and then have the hardest bit right at the end, so if you fail, you have to do everything all over again, that's just silly. Especially since the final drop seems to be all about luck: sometimes you make it, sometimes you don't, there's no real strategy or skill involved.

One of my tries I got all the way to the bottom but the last death platform that can kill you came out last second. it was the LAST platform till the end and I died. The amount of rage I had. At least I done it. So much rage was had today.

Nice guide !

And I agree for the last drop, I failed 4/5 times on it before I passed it without dying for the trophy

What would be the best bet to pass this, I wonder?

Take it slow and try to create blocks between every level or try to drop as quickly and as far as you can in one go?

I got through the level (not without failing, so I will have to go back eventually) by taking it slow, but I have seen videos where people basically drop from the top to the middle bit in one jump and then to the bottom in one other jump. Which is pretty crazy.

In my opinion you wanna do this as quickly as possible! I also struggled mightly obtaining this trophy, and at first I was taking it nice and slow and making new blocks after every obstacle. While that strategy is certainly doable, it also adds too many extra opportunities to screw something up I think. After awhile I noticed that sometimes I was able to drop straight through to that concrete middle section, and then again drop straight down to the very bottom of the tunnel. This is still sketchy... but at least in my case it made it much more feasible. Sometimes you will need to make one platform during the fall to get realigned better, so just be ready with the quick reflexes.

So in my case - for whatever reason - I think that I'd still be going for that damn trophy if I stuck with the "slow & easy way"... but in the end it just comes down to a matter of preference.

Even though I had a lot of trouble having this trophy unlock, and I wish I could post a video up of the route I took but I don't have any kind of recording device.

The way I took was....

The first fall stand all the way to the right....once the opening is below you, drop down and steer to the left. It will pass all the obstacles. Just make sure to create a block at the midway point.

Than go on all the beams and look down, if your on the correct beam there should be an opening in the first two obstacles. You should pass every obstacle except the last one so make sure to create a block and just wait until it floats down to the bottom.

It worked every time for me, but for some reason it took so damn long for the trophy to unlock!

Sounds promising! That's only two blocks you'll need, which not even 20% of the blocks I used on my first regular playthrough.

When you say "stand all the way to the right"... do you mean your right as you enter that room? Or doesn't that even matter as long as you are to the right of the ledge you're on? I'm sort of assuming the latter (since all blocks rotate), but it can't hurt to ask.

I also think the best thing to do is try dropping very fast, I only used one block at the middle section

(done this trophy twice now, on both my accounts, it was pretty intense even on the 2nd time!)

Yeah, dropping down in 1 go is certainly doable, but you need a certain amount of luck, especially in the lower part. Placing a block before every obstacle is tricky because you descend so quickly.

I must say, that is the hardest trophy in the entire game. I was about to give up for good (or until the day I buy the online dlc, for which I'll probably wait till there's a discount) when I finally got the trophy.

I'm upping the Estimated Trophy Difficulty from a 3/10 to a 4/10 due to the thick bullshit of the Warren Vidic trophy. Feels about right.
