ever since i started playing it today and lag didn't stop since i got the laser detonator.
exploring is hard, shotting is harder + several game crashes every 10 minuts. how aweful considering i was looking forward to it. anyone had the same? or do you recommend redownloading it in order to fix it? |

I've been dealing with the same, but after the others (except Dead Money, that was smooth) giving me the same issue I just don't let it bother me. It lags for me most of the time too. Every time there's a point to go indoors I'm happy, that's the only time it doesn't lag. I'm using a 12mb file though, that's probably contributing to it.

How big's your save file? The bigger it is, the more it'll crash and the same applies to the other DLCs and FO3.
8-10mb is the tipping point, from then on all you can do is either delete your save and start over or put up with the problems. You can try the cache clear code but it's not as effective as it was in FO3: Hold L2, R2 and Square after the trophies load and keep holding them until the main menu appears. You'll know if it's worked as the Press Start text will disappear.

I've noticed that too. There's periods of time when it slows down bad, only to speed up again right after. That's never happened to me before in a Fallout DLC, usually once they slow to a crawl that's restart time.

--- i guess deleting and redownloading the DLC won't be that helpful then, but i think it's getting a little better now after leaving the first open area. i wanna enjoy this DLC to it's fullest .

I shouldn't be surprised to see reports like this coming in. Because of PSN being down today, I have been unable to download the DLC yet (will probably do it tomorrow), but I was mentally prepared to fight more lag, slowdowns, freezes and crashes.
New Vegas has been a great game, but in all honesty, I will be glad when it's all over, my trophies are back up to 100% and I can finally put this puppy on my gaming shelf. I've suffered through two Fallout games that crashed my PS3 every twenty minutes once my save file got over 10MB now... and enough is enough.
