Introduction

The game in terms of the platinum, is very easy, the only hard trophy is beating the gondola game without firing. You will need to do multiple playthroughs in order to achieve the platinum, reasons being that you have to play ranked mode to submit scores to the leaderboard and this is only available to you after completing all of the stages once, on any difficulty. Another reason is killing 3000 zombies, there's only about 1000 zombies in the game but in stage 3 you can keep replaying that to get about 450 kills. There is no missable trophies as all stages can be replayed from the level select screen, so if you missed a student you can just select that stage and save them. The lollipops are the same, if you miss any then you can just replay the stage. You need to play on hard to get all the lollipop wrappers in the game, hard isn't hard so don't get put off by selecting it. There has been few reports of trophy glitches, but no glitches have been confirmed as of yet.

Walkthrough

Step 1: Complete the game on easy, save classmates and get misc trophies

Note: Kiss Nick as many times as you can per stage you play, you do this by Nick roulette (activated by pressing :l3: and then selecting a option). You need nick tickets which can be bought for 30 medals. The reason for this is it saves you doing a whole load at the end.

For your first playthrough you will want to complete it on easy. This will give you a feel of the game and what to expect later on. During this playthrough you also want to rescue all the classmates which is very easy to do on easy as the zombies don't take much health off of them. A classmate that can be saved says 'SOS' above of them, you need to protect them from zombies and then go up to them afterwards and you get a medal reward, if one dies just restart and you go back to the previous section. I would say the only one I had trouble saving was the first one on stage 5, he is a total idiot and starts walking away. As he is walking off back the way you cam make sure to go ahead of him, hopefully you have killed most the zombie cheeleaders in that room but if not don't worry. He will be in less danger to them than to what appears next. Look at the fire trucks roof with the blaster (You should have ammo, if not the classmate will die), 3 bomber zombies jump onto it and you have to quickly shoot one of them to blow all three up. If you don't they will land on the floor and there is no way to safely kill them without the classmate being insta killed. If he does die just restart the checkpoint. The others things you should concentrate on are; levelling up Juliet so its easier for the next step, you level up Juliet by buying upgrades under 'Health and Upgrades'. You will also want to get as many of the miscellaneous trophies as you can. Most relate to boss fights by completing additional objectives during them, most are cumulative too. The main reason for 3 playthroughs is the 3,000 zombie kill trophy and the 10,000 medal trophy as it saves you from having to grind. At the end of this step you should have all the boss trophies and the misc objectives trophies for them, all the classmates, happy ending and some other misc ones which you may have got along the way.

Step 2: Complete the game on Hard, get Lollipop Wrappers and complete the zombie album

Note: Kiss Nick as many times as you can per stage you play, you do this by Nick roulette (activated by pressing :l3: and then selecting a option). You need nick tickets which can be bought for 30 medals. The reason for this is it saves you doing a whole load at the end.

After you have finished the first step, go back to the very start menu and select 'Difficulty', then put it on hard. The reason you are playing on hard is not all the lollipop wrappers spawn on the lower difficulties. So that's the main point of this playthrough, collecting all the lollipop wrappers. There is 40 of them in total spread out across all stages, see my text guide and the video guide for locations of those. The next thing you want to do is complete the zombie album. The album is completed on hard mode by killing the named zombies, you won't get the trophy in this step as you will need one more from ranked mode who is called Jack, so just get all the others and leave him until the next step. The last thing you want to do is buy all the combos and as many BGMs as you can, both can be bought from the shop. That's all you need to focus on for this step, you may beat a few of dads scores but chances are you won't. The trophies you should have now are, all lollipops, all the shop items such as BGM, upgrades, combos. You should also have the misc trophies that you missed in the last playthrough, remember to selct 'Bad Ending' on stage 6 too so you can get that trophy as well.

(S) Millionaire Hunter

(S) Lollipop Addict

(S) Perfect Body

Step 3: Playthrough on Ranked Mode, finish up other trophies

Note: Kiss Nick as many times as you can per stage you play, you do this by Nick roulette (activated by pressing :l3: and then selecting a option). You need nick tickets which can be bought for 30 medals. The reason for this is it saves you doing a whole load at the end. and is needed to beat dads scores.

This is the final step for your platinum, beating the game on ranked mode. Juliet should be fully upgraded by now so you shouldn't have any trouble with these. What you want to do is on the menu press :square: to switch over to ranked mode (Make sure you play on normal too for more zombies) this will enable you play the stages in this mode. Ranked mode is a mode where you have no checkpoints, no continues and no shops. But you should be familiar with the game by now so you shouldn't have trouble beating them without dieing. You also need to make sure you are signed into PSN as you play, that way you can submit your scores at the end for the 'international zombie hunter' trophy. Another thing you want to do on this step is beat all of dads scores, they are easier than they sound to beat as you will be maxed out by now. To neat him you just have to beat his score and not get A ranking in everything. Refer to the trophies for dads scores for a detailed explanation on this mode and tips for each stage, see my guide at the bottom for help and info for each stage. The last thing you want to do on this step is finish of buying the BGMs etc from the shop and finally finishing off kissing Nick 100 times. At the end of this step you should have all the other remaining trophies and the platinum, congrats. If not, then continue to step.

Step 4: Clean Up

Missed out on a misc boss trophy? or maybe didn't buy everything from the store for those trophies? Well, now is the time to go back and replay the stages in question. The platinum should now be yours. You might not have 'Love Nick' if you haven't done it. so just go into a stage and keep using him and buying tickets.

Buy a combo at Chop2Shop.Zom and use it.

You can get this during the prologue, as soon as you see the first shop (it's a green retro computer sitting on a chair with the words "Chop 2 Shop" written underneath), Juliet will mention something about no time for shopping when nearby. Once in there you want to scroll down to "Awesome Skillz" and there's two options of things to buy in the prologue, they are "Chainsaw Stab" and "Chainsaw Chain". For the purposes of the guide we will go with "Chainsaw Stab" as it's the cheapest one at 60 medals. Now, go onwards in the level. As soon as you encounter a zombie press :square: :square: and :triangle: to do Chainsaw Stab. If done correctly you will stab the zombie with the chainsaw; the trophy will pop shortly afterwards.

Defeated Hazmat in Prologue.

This boss fight occurs during the prologue, Parking

This boss is encountered at the end of the prologue, you will see a cutscene introducing a hazmat guy and 2 others. This is the boss. This is the easiest boss fight in the game and all you need to do is hit them with your chainsaw, kick etc. What I did was kill the other two guys first, just jumping over them and attacking them from behind seemed to work the best. Once those two are dead you want to work on killing the main boss, he is hazmat and he has "Jerry" above his head. Now do the same thing as you did with the other guys, except avoid him when he is spraying stuff out of the canister and when he throws it as it will damage you. Once his health is down to zero he will die and the trophy will unlock shortly afterwards.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1134/012.jpgZed’s Dead, Baby, Zed’s Dead (B)

Defeated Zed.

This boss fight occurs during Stage 1, Highschool

At the end of the stage you have to fight the boss, Zed. He is a punk rocker who is pretty easy to defeat. There is 3 stages to the boss fight, first it's just you fighting against him. You will want to dodge his attacks, he will hit you and throw words at you, just jump around and dodge them and you should be fine. Whenever you get the chance, hit him back. Eventually, you get the chance to do the finisher which cuts him in half but he just sticks himself together again, this starts part 2 of the boss fight.

Speakers will fall from the ceiling onto the stage, Zed will jump on them and you have to smash them with your chainsaw (Zed doesn't have to be standing on them, just make sure to destroy all the speakers on the stage), he will also throw balls at you so avoid this to avoid getting killed (these balls arent the electric ones for the "Watch out for the balls" trophy, that occurs in part 3 of the boss fight. After you have destroyed all of the speakers, a massive speaker will fall down. All you have to do is go up to it and follow the QTEs to cut it in half. He will throw words at you too, so just avoid them. He will also jump down and try and hurt you, but it can be easily dodged. Once you have fully cut it in half, you then need to kick it down by following the screen prompts. Zed will fall to the floor and you then have to go up to him and cut him in half, after doing that he will say a few insults and you start stage 3 with the electric balls.

This part gets you the trophy, he will have two types of attacks. The first is where he sort of floats in the air and then throws the electric balls, the second one is where he starts headbanging and they just fly towards you, you need to dodge these like usual. Once you've missed them, start hitting Zed and the balls will come back. It will go in slow motion and you need to press :square:, the balls will then hit him (it doesn't damage him so don't worry), repeat this 15 times for the trophy (note; even though there's two balls on the screen, it only counts as one time). This will take a long time, just make sure to not hit him with the chainsaw or he will die. After you have the trophy, just keep hitting him and then he will do another letter attack where you have to avoid the letters of "YEAH!", which is easy to do. Just keep jumping over them until you reach him, then do the QTE thing and that's the boss fight done. The trophy unlocks shortly afterwards.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1134/B66.jpgViking Metal Rules! (B)

Defeated Vikke.

This boss fight occurs during Stage 2, Stadium

Vikke is the Viking boss, he is encountered at the end of Stage 2 on the boat. There is a trophy linked to this boss too ("Cheerleader Overboard") and I will explain it here. For the first part of the boss fight you will just want to hit him with drop-kicks, chainsaw, blaster etc. Be careful to dodge him when he drop-kicks you and to stay clear of him when he is using his electric battle axe. During this part he will also climb on top of the boat and zombies will fly towards you, just shoot him and the zombie things (you can dodge them if you want) with the blaster to get him down from there and back onto the deck of the ship. Once you knock his health down to zero you then do a finisher move, this will cut him in half.

There is no his torso floating and his legs just running around, now if you want the "Cheerlearder Overboard" trophy you need to NOT HURT THE LEGS, leave them alone. You want to stand byt the edge of the ship and wait until the legs run to you, hopefully if you and the legs were positioned right you will get kicked off the edge by the legs and have to do a QTE, as soon as you complete the QTE then "Cheerleader Overboard" will unlock. Now kill the legs and then move onto the torso. It's pretty much the same as part 1, just dodge him and hit him and when he goes up to the top of the ship shoot him with the blaster. The legs will occasionally come back but they are easy to kill. Once you knock his health down to zero you do a finisher move on him, his head gets cut off and that moves onto part 3.

This part is just his head flying around, but it's now massive. This is the easiest part to do, he has three types of attacks and they are when he fires a beam of electricity out of his mouth at you, when he bounces around the boat trying to crush you and when he bumpercars off the walls to try and hit you. Just hit him with the chainsaw or blaster etc until his health reaches zero. Once his health is on zero just do the finisher move and the boss fight will end, resulting with the trophy popping.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1134/F35.jpgDirty Hippy (B)

Defeated Mariska.

This boss fight occurs during Stage 3, O'Bannon Farm

NOTE: Always run around the circle in either directions, this will make sure you don't get hit by anything and save you a lot of health. Also you will want to do this to earn the "Third Eye" trophy, balloons occur during part 1 and 2, not 3.

At the end of the stage you have to fight a hippie called Mariska, this I found to be one of the more annoying boss fights. The first part she will be flying around in a bubble, you just need to keep shooting the bubble and avoiding the bubbles she throws at you too. Once you have gotten her health all the way down to zero you need to quickly rush to her as you only have 10 seconds and do the same thing you have done with all the previous boss fights with the QTEs, once you have cut her in half she will regenerate and become two, then she does it again and becomes four, this starts the 2nd part of the fight.

There is now 4 of her flying around the room, she also has a new attack where she has these combine harvesters driving opposite directions around the circle, deal with these staight away by shooting the part of her driving it, this will cause it to disapear. She will also have a crane arm smacking into the floor, but it doesn't cause any hassle if you keep running around the circle. Keep shooting all of her around the room until her health reaches zero, do the same as you did before and cut her in half.

Now the final part. This time, she splits into 8 (isn't as bad as it sounds). The new attacks are these boobs that come out of the middle which are easily avoided if you keeping running. She and her counterparts will just be spinning in a circle in the middle, so any spare chance you get, shoot the blaster towards them. Eventually, a giant hand will come out of the middle and will start chasing you around the circle, make sure to keep running whilst it's chasing you, only stop to shoot when it stops (not sure if you can kill the hand, I didn't try). Once you have killed them all you need to run to her and do the QTEs, that will finally kill them. The trophy unlocks shortly afterwards, and if no balloons hit you then you'll also get "Third Eye".

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1134/DBE.jpgDisco's Dead (B)

Defeated Josey.

This boss fight occurs during Stage 4, Arcade

This is the Josey boss and he is a disco rocker zombie who you fight at the end of stage 4 He is the shortest boss on the stages. The first part consists of him sitting in his UFO (or IFO as Nick calls it (identified f**king object)) and you jusy have to shoot him with the blaster (you can hit him with the chainsaw too when he is not moving around). He has a few attacks and they are when he flies across the floor in the UFO and if you are in its path you get hurt. The 2nd move is where he quickly darts around the stage and the 3rd is when he shoots beams out of the UFO and the final one is when he drops retro bombs out onto the floor. All are easily dodged. Once you get his health to zero go up to him and do the finisher like you have done with the previous bosses. This will cut him in half and you then go through the light in the ceiling (which is a massive UFO) to the second part of the boss fight.

For part 2 you race against the clock now and have 3 minutes to defeat him, you will notice blue generator things around the edge of the UFO and these are what you want to aim for and destroy. Just kick and hit them with your chainsaw etc, but watch out for when he fires a beam at them because if you touch them in that state you will get hurt and the beam the generator fires will hurt you too. There is a trophy here for beating him with 10 seconds remaining, it's easily done and all you want to do is destroy all the generators but one, leave it will about 1/4 health left. You then want to wait until there is 30 seconds left on the clock, destroy the generator then move into kill him with about 15 odd seconds left. Do the finisher move on him and he will die, if it was in 10 seconds as well then you will get that "Critical UFO finish" as well as this trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1134/E5C.jpgRock'n Roll Isn't Here Anymore (B)

Defeated Lewis LEGEND.

This boss fight occurs during Stage 5, Cathedral

This is the last rocker zombie, called Lewis. He is like the rest, a rocker zombie. He is driving around on a flaming motorbike. For the first part you just want to dodge his attacks, you can ignore the docile zombies as they just stand there and are not a threat. What you want to do is just hit him with your chainsaw and best combos, the only attack he has is when he drives the motorbike towards you. It is very easy to get him down to zero health, once that happens he will drive off and charge you, you then have to watch him and when he is close press :triangle: and then you'll do a finisher sequence and knock him off his bike, watch the short cutscene then go up to him and do another finisher, this will cut the bottoms of his legs off. This is part 1 finished, onto part 2. If you want the "Elephant Tamer" trophy do not do the finisher when he has fallen off his bike, just stand there and wait until he gets back on it and then it will say press :circle:, this is the counter and if you did that right the trophy will unlock after doing that 10 times.

Now he gets back on his bike and it turns into a weird elephant thing. The only attacks he will do is when he is driving around the room and causes shock-waves which knock you over, the other one is when he fires the gattling gun at you, but it's easily dodged and the final move he does is when he tries to hit you with the saw blade. Only hit him when he is standing still or you'll get hurt. He will eventually sort of break down and you can just go up to him and unleash every combo etc on him. Once he is on zero health just do the finisher as usual, this doesn't cause him any trouble but just makes him angrier. He will gain a tiny bit of health back and you just want to knock that down to zero again. Once you do that you want to do a finisher again, but this time the wheel will collapse and force him to drive around lower. You have to repeat the whole process again (even Nick gets fed up). He will have a few more moves and all they are is add ons of the previous bit, he will spin around with the saw blades. Easily dodged attacks. Again, make sure to only hit him when he breaks down to avoid health loss. Once he reaches zero health use the finisher on him. This will have the same effect as before and he will gain a bit of health again. Just knock it down to zero and then do the finisher. Now the elephant is busted and only drives towards you, and he tries to run you over like the first part. As soon as you get close, knock his health to zero and then do the finisher.. again. This will knock him into the final part where he just drives around with no tusks, but he has a grenade launcher. Do the same as you have done in all the other parts to kill him, then do the finsher and this boss ends. Trophy unlocks shortly afterwards.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1134/9FF.jpgI Came, I Saw, I Kicked Its Ass (B)

Defeated Killabilly.

This is the final boss fight and occurs during Stage 6, Killabilly

This whole level is the boss fight, there is two trophies tied to this level, the first being "Fingered" and the second being "Ace Auto-Shop Class". The first part of the boss fight sees you doing the QTEs to hit the cars, make sure you don't fail on any for the car trophy. After you have done 4, a ramp will build and allow you to the next bit. Kill the 14 zombies then destroy three cars with QTEs to build a new ramp. Chainsaw dash up this bit and then at the end if you didn't fail any car QTEs then "Ace Auto-Shop Class" will pop. Kill the 11 zombies, then blaster the wall and go towards the arrow.

Part 2 of the fight you just have to move up the road and avoid the laserbeams he fires by hiding behind the rocks (ignore the zombies and just move up the road). Go as far as you can go, then kill the 10 zombies to pass on. Avoid his beams until you reach the next 10 kill zombie bit, do chainsaw dash again then you will finally reach Killabilly.

He picks you up and you just have to keep stabbing his hand and then doing the QTE on his fingers. Just keep shooting him in the face with the blaster until his health reaches zero, you have to do this for ages and it gets a bit boring. Eventually he will throw you to the floor and then you need to shoot his face again. Now, to get the "Fingered" trophy, you need to just aim for his fingers (just hit them with the chainsaw to cut them off). You need to do this 20 times. Once that's done, focus on shooting his face and hitting his hands/fingers. This part takes ages, you just have to keep avoiding his slamming and then he will start playing the air guitar. You have to avoid the cars and kill the zombie counts. Eventually a helicopter falls and you need to shoot it with the blaster to avoid it hurting you. Repeat what you have done before to continue damaging him. When he reaches zero health you have to do the long QTE which involves many buttons so be careful what you press. Once you succeed in that the boss is done. You have to watch a cutscene then you have to do a few QTEs when your inside Killabilly, do those and then watch the cutscene. The trophy unlocks shortly afterwards and so does the ending for whatever you got. Congrats, you completed the game.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1134/928.jpgLeapfrog girl (B)

Leapfrogged 10 times in a row.

This is a simple trophy and you will want to make sure you do this as early in the game as possible, as it gets harder as you progress through the game. During the prologue, you get ambushed by zombies at the first bit. A few waves of them attack you, what you want to do is kill them and then continue. More will spawn and you will want to leave one of them alive. Now, face Juilet towards the zombie and move towards it, press :circle: when close by (important as you might do another jump by accident) and Juilet will leapfrog over the zombie if done correctly (She jumps over the zombie and spreads her legs out). You have to do this 10 times in a row without doing any other dodge, or it will reset the streak. What I did was use :ls: and point it in the direction I wanted to go to. Upon leapfrogging over the zombie for the 10th time, the trophy will unlock. Heres a video by Powerpyx

Peeped under Juliet's skirt once.

Now I'm sure you have tried to get this trophy already. It is pretty easy and all you need to do is move the camera angle until Juliet moves her hand to cover her skirt. Keep it in that position for about 10 seconds and the trophy will unlock. Any costumes will work for this trophy, even the bunny one. So you don't have to be wearing a costume in which she has a skirt on. You can attempt this trophy at any point in he game. Here's a video by PowerPyx:

Get 30 headshots.

You obtain the blaster near the end of stage 2, stadium. You get it to play zombie baseball. This is trophy is harder than it sounds. First of all you want to go into :start:, then 'options'. then toggle 'blaster aim' to 'manual' instead of 'auto' which it will automatically be on. If you don't the blaster will auto lock onto the zombies body, you can do it on auto, you just have to move the rectile to the zombies head. You can do this at any point in the game, so don't worry about locations. I did it during the zombie baseball bit as the zombies come slowly out of the ground and also did it during the Lewis boss fight on stage 5 as the zombies are docile and don't seem to move as much. Just aim for the head with :l2: and shoot with :r2:, the zombies head will fly off with a rainbow effect caused. This doesn't work too well on hard mode though as the headshot isn't always one shot kill, it's still possible but you have to shoot the zombie in the head multiple times. Flying zombies always die in one shot though, regardless of difficulty. Just fire the blaster at any zombie's head 30 times to score a headshot and the trophy will unlock.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1134/93F.jpgSparkle Hunting Master (B)

Succeed in 7 zombie Sparkle Hunting.

To get this trophy, you have to behead 7 zombies in one go with the chainsaw. You will may get this without trying but during the prologue you can do it as I got it. When you protect classmate #3 I was able to do 7 while in star soul (Press :r2: when meter is full) then used the heavy chainsaw attack (:triangle:). A short cinematic scene will play if you decapitated more than 3. I don't recommend trying here as I think I just got very lucky.

The best place to try is during stage 3, not the prologue. During the stage there will be a point where you need to kill 32 zombies, all 32 run at you at the same time. What you want to do is use the star soul ability so you don't get hurt (make sure your bar is full before reaching this part, It is not needed for the trophy though and you can just use the Nick ticket in this area to make the zombies groggy). Then, wait until they are all surrounding you and use one of the combos which reaches in a far out swing, I used 'Maelstrom Spin' which is done by pressing :cross:, :square:, :square:. Any move with long reach will work, such as 'Chainsaw Paradise' etc, I even managed to do this on hard mode. When the rainbow scene is playing you want to make sure it says "7" in the middle, this means you hit 7. If you fail, just restart or kill yourself and you will go back to the bit just before and your star soul meter will be full. The trophy will unlock shortly after you achieve 7 sparkle hunting. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1134/A2C.jpgGunn Struck (B)

Struck by lightning 10 times.

Note: This trophy is cumulative and carries on between stages and playthroughs.

Firstly, make sure you're on easy and you have about 3+ lollipops so you can get your health up as this will hurt you. Lightning is anything that makes Juliets bones show. An easy place to get this is during stage 2 (stadium), you have to do a chainsaw dash section on the rooftops. When you are about midway through this point you will notice lightning bolts that hit the floor, a cutscene will show when the lightning first appears. You want to stay in this area and get hit 10 times by the lightning, just run towards it and you will get hit by it and Juliet will freeze and do the X-ray effect, this does have a considerable effect on health though depending on difficulty. Repeat 10 times for the trophy.

You can also get this during the Vikke boss fight at the end of this stage, he has an electric axe and if you don't avoid some of his attacks you will get zapped by the lightning. The attacks that cause the lightning effect are the ones where he swings overhead with the axe, the other moves don't. To get him to use this move move often I found that leapfrogging over him cancelled some of his moves out. It takes a long time to get hit 10 times though because he always jumps up to the drumkit. Upon getting hit 10 times over the course of your entire game, the trophy will unlock.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1134/B52.jpgSuper Shopper (B)

Spend 10,000 medals at Chop2Shop.Zom.

As you go for the platinum, this will unlock on that course. You need to buy all of the combos, health upgrades etc from the store for the "Perfect Body" trophy anyway. You should unlock this on your 2nd or 3rd playthrough depending on how many medals you have been picking up whilst playing through. As I suggest doing 3 playthroughs in the roadmap, you shouldn't worry about this trophy. Upon spending 10,000 medals on anything in the shop the trophy will unlock.

If you still don't have it you can use the unlimited zombie method in stage 4. You will eventually reach a game where you have to male it up the floors and go up elevators etc, it is after the Dakuroman/pacman game. What you want to do is keep doing this and you will eventually reach a floor where the lights go out for a 2nd time and the floor blows up and you have to do a QTE to jump over the zombies heads to reach the other side. What you want to do is just fail the first QTE by pressing nothing, you will then to fall down to the zombies below. Just kill thme with any combo (I used 'Armidillo Spin', but anything with do as long as it's quick). Once they are all dead you can now go back up the elevator to the left and repeat the same process again. This is one if the best places to farm platinum and regular medals, besides replaying certain stages.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1134/35C.jpgLove Nick (B)

Kissed Nick 100 times.

Kissing Nick is referring to the 'Nick Roulette' option that you have when you have a Nick ticket which is the thing that looks like a drivers license in the top left of the screen. Nick tickets are found in stages or can be bought from the shops for 30 zombie medals each. You can carry 9 at any time and they carry on between stages, so I could buy 9 then wait until I reach a save point then quit and load up another level and I'd still have the tickets. Once you have a ticket press :l3: to activate them. Early on in the game you won't have all options as you have to beat stages and buy 1 of them to get them all, here are the powerups and how many kisses you get from each one:

  • Nick Toss: This is the only one that gives you two kisses and you get it right from the start, so you will want to aim for this one whenever you can. It is marked as a spiral icon with Nicks head next to it. This power up allows you to spin him around and hit zombies to stun them. As I said, Juliet kisses Nick twice when you use this powerup.

  • Nick Shake: This only gives you one kiss towards the total but is a good method for ranked mode. To get this you have to buy it from the store for 210 medals, then it will appear in the roulette. You can only use this one once per checkpoint, as you could get infinate medals else. What this powerup does is you just have to spam :triangle: and medals and Lollipops will fall out of Nick for a short period of time.

  • Nick Popper: This only gives you one kiss towards the total and isn't really good for anything, you get the powerup during stage 4. It is marked by a short o9f firework looking thing. All it does is allow you to fire Nicks head out of a gun sort of thing and it stuns zombies. It doesn't have much range and I avoided using it.

  • Nick Shoot: This only gives you one kiss towards the total and is the shorest of them all. It is marked by a football shoe on the roulette line. All it does is you kick Nicks head and it bounces off all the zombies in the area and stuns them. It's quick as it is just one kick but it isn't as good as other power ups.

If you still don't have it then you can try this by the end of all your playthroughs you can use this method. Load up stage 5, get sparkle hunting on the first lot of zombies and then destroy the red barrel in the back of the car. Buy 9 Nick tickets and don't go past the shop or it will save, go back and then use 'Nick Shake' first which is the option with coins in the picture. This will give you some medals to buy more tickets next time. Once you've done that you will want to then just use 'Nick Toss' 8 times as you should have 8 tickets, this will result in 16 kisses. Once you have used up all the tickets go past the shop and you will see the auto save icon, when that goes press and then quit. Select Stage 5 again and repeat.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1134/195.jpgJULIET51 (B)

51 successful dropkicks.

You have access to this move from the start of the game, a dropkick consists of pressing :circle: and :square: (In that order). Juliet will jump up and kick out in front of her. You really want to take advantage of this move and use it whenever you can as it stuns the zombies and makes them groogy, thus being able to store an instant decap. You simply need to do this 51 times. It is entirely possible to obtain this trophy during the prologue as you can just keep kicking the same zombies. The trophy will unlock after doing it successfully 51 times.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1134/28B.jpgInternational Zombie Hunter (B)

Registered in world leaderboards for all stages.

Note: You can only submit your score to the leaderboards in ranked mode and you have to play on normal or above. Just play all the levels on ranked, that's all there is to this trophy. Make sure you are signed into PSN or you cannot submit a score.

This is an easy trophy, you just have to make sure you finish each stage in ranked mode and you are signed into PSN so you can submit your score to the learderboards. It doesn't matter what you score is, you will still go on the leaderboards. If you have played Dead Nation before, it's a similar concept to that. Once you have submitted a score for the prologue and the other 6 stages, the trophy will unlock. This is the only trophy for ranked mode, besides Dads scores if you go for them in this mode (ranked mode is one of the hardest modes in the game as there is no shops or checkpoints. If you die you need to restart the whole section again). There is 3 modes to ranked; Time Attack, Score Attack and Medal Attack. You will be playing score attack for dads scores, but you will submit a score to the leaderboards whichever mode you are playing on.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1134/6B6.jpgGroovy Hunter (B)

Kill 500 zombies.

Simple, just kill 500 zombies. The trophy will unlock when you kill you 500th zombies, which will be during Stage 3: O'Bannon Farm. Duting this stage alone you kill that amount, so don't worry an=bout this trophy as it is unmissable.

See Zombie Slayer?! for more info regarding this trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1134/6B6.jpgZombie Slayer?! (S)

Kill 3,000 zombies.

Note: You kill about 1000 zombies per playthrough (Stages - Prologue through to 6).

A follow up of 'Groovy Hunter' except this time you need to kill 3000. As I reccomend 3 playthroughs you should be near this number by doing all of those, but if you haven't you can grind it in chapters such as the one in the combine harvester in stage 3, you can get around 500 kills just from that stage. Stage 5 and 3 has the most zombies on so you can just keep replaying that stage and getting kills. As I said, concentrate this trophy later on and make it one of the last you go for. If you still don't have it after completing the game 3 times, here is some farming spots:

Stage 4 (Tower Climb Game): You will eventually reach a game where you have to male it up the floors and go up elevators etc, it is after the Dakuroman/pacman game.

Stage 5 (Lewis LEGEND fight): During the first part of this fight, there will be zombies in the arena with you. As long as you don't finish lewis once he has fallen off the bike there will be an unlimited supply of zombies. i don't reccommend this method though as you get no score or medals from killing the zombies, but it's still kills.

Stage 5 (Love Nick grinding method): While goping for the trophy where you have to kiss Nick 100 times you will be killing 12 zombies each time, this won't add much to the total but it kills tow birds with one stone as you will be going towards 2 trophies. As soon as you have Love Nick stop using this method as the others are better than this one.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1134/CB4.jpgRich Hunter (B)

Pick up 1,000 zombie medals.

Note: This trophy is cumulative.

Simple, you just have to have picked up 1000 medals. This doesn't mean carry at once or anything like that, the game remembers how many you have picked up. You will unlock this fairly early on in the game if you remember to pick up medals. Trophy unlocks upon getting 1000 which you should have gottne during stage 3 if you have been destroying the objects in previous stages, saving students and achieving lot's of sparkle hunting.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1134/6FB.jpgMillionaire Hunter (S)

Pick up 10,000 zombie medals.

A follow up from 'Rich Hunter' except this time you need 10,000. If you have been going for the medals (Which you should be doing) in this game then you will unlock it during one if your later playthroughs. If you have however completed everything and still don't have this trophy then just keep replaying chapter 5 as it has the most amount of medals on it. As I said before, this is cumulative and you don't need to carry 10,000. It's just the total from everything you have picked up. The trophy will unlock upon picking up 10,000 medals.

Some easy methods to get medals are 'sparkle hunting', which is when a rainbow scene plays after you kill 3+ zombies with one swing of the chainsaw or kill 3+ within 2 seconds or so. This will award you extra medals and you really want to be doing this on your beat dads scores playthrough. Another way to get medals is by using Nick shake (Bought from the shop for 210 medals). This will give you a random amount of medals depending how well you did on the small QTE mini game (This also is gets you number to the 'Kiss Nick' trophy). You can also farm medals in stage 4. Just kill them with any combo (I used 'Armidillo Spin', but anything with do as long as it's quick). Once they are all dead you can now go back up the elevator to the left and repeat the same process again. You get about 15 medals or so each time and it takes about 10 - 30 seconds, depending if you got sparkle hunting. There is also a very handy method to grind the tickets, what you will want to do is load up stage 5 and then kill the zombies at the start, blow up the barrel on the truck to clear the path. Once you have done that use a Nick Shake (Needed for this method, bought from chop2shop for 210 medals) for medals, do that before you pass the path you just created. Now go to the shop and buy Nick Tickets from the store then move just past the shop and wait until it finishes auto saving. After it has, press :start: then 'Quit' and then select 'Yes' for the checkpoint. Load back up cathedral and repeat what you just did there, fastest way to get medals. Thanks to benjamin1802 for explaining that method and for the video below:

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1134/4D7.jpgSan Romero Knights Savior (S)

Rescued All Classmates.

Note: Make sure you actually go up to them after saving them (So it says x/x saved in the bottom left hand corner and they give you medals). You need to rescue all of the classmates for the happy ending. You can also check how many you have saved by pressing :start: and :square:. Do this on easy to like I mention in the roadmap. If you fail to rescue any of them you can just press :start: and then 'Restart', you will then get put back before the classmate. If you miss any, you can just go back to that stage and replay it, you don't have to complete the entire game again.

You will unlock this on stage 5, cathedral if you saved every classmate in the earlier chapters. There is 3 in the prologue, 8 in stage 1, 4 in stage 2, one in stage 3, 3 in stage 4 and then finally there is 2 in stage 5. You will meet every single one of them while playing the stages, they will be in different areas of the stage and they have a big 'SOS' above there heads, this means that that is a classmate you need to save. You will want to make it your main priority to save them, go up to them and kill all of the zombies that are trying to zombify him/her. Once you have hit a zombie once they will then ignore the classmate and focus on you instead, so thats a good way to get them distracted. It really isn't hard to get this, but if for some reason one gets killed by the enviroment then you jsut need to press :start: and restart, will put you back to your previous checkpoint. Remember, to save them you need to go up to them after killing all the zombies. They will thank you and give you medals for saving them. You can check how many you have saved in each chapter by pressing :square: on the :start: menu. Some of them are on timed ledges etc, this is when a classmate is hanging from a ledge etc, if you don't kill the zombies quick enough they will fall down and die instantly. The only one I found hard was the first one on stage 5, he is a total idiot and starts walking away from you. As he is walking off back the way you came (Towards the semi trucks) make sure to go ahead of him, hopefully you have killed most the zombie cheeleaders in that room but if not don't worry. He will be in less danger to them than to what appears next. Look at the fire trucks roof with the blaster (You should have ammo, if not the classmate will die), 3 bomber zombies jump onto it and you have to quickly shoot one of them to blow all three up. If you don't they will land on the floor and there is no way to safely kill them without the classmate being insta killed, you can try to decap them as they will not explode this way. If he does die just restart the checkpoint.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1134/0ED.jpgLollipop Addict (S)

Collected all lollipop wrappers.

There is 40 lollipop wrappers in the game. You must be playing on hard difficulty to get them so you will go for this trophy in step 2 of the roadmap. Most of the lollipops are found while going through the level, bit some aren't. Refer to the video guide below bt PowerPyx for locations of all 40 of them, or my text guide at the very bottom of this guide or by clicking here. The lollipops are not very well hidden and if you wanted you could find them yourself, a few words of warning about a few though. Some involve trampolines and you have to do a QTE to reach the lollipop, if you fail any of the QTES then it breaks. If this happens then just restart and you will go back just before. The same applies for the rest, if you miss one and can't get back then just restart the checkpoint.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1134/92B.jpgAlways On The Phone (B)

Collected all telephone messages.

Story related and cannot be missed

You get telephone messages by just playing through the game. The messages are from your family that mainly provide background on the story, you will get notifications when they pop up and you are forced to listen to them most the time. For the trophy, you don't need to listen to messages that yo udon;t listen to via the story. But if for some reason you want to listen to them you can via Juliets bedroom on the stage select scene. The trophy unlocks after getting the phone call at the very end of Stage 6. When doing the last bit of the boss fight, when the end cutscenes are playing. You don't have to play on hard to recieve them all, you will get it after step 1 in the roadmap.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1134/9E8.jpgZombie Fancier (S)

Completed the zombie album.

Note: As you are playing on normal the first playthrough, not all the below zombies will be available. I'm unsure about the other difficulties but not all of them appear on those ones. All the below zombies will be available on 'Hard' mode and over. The only one that won't be is 'Jack' and he appears during stage 6 on Ranked Mode, he is the chop2shop bird but he is only named on stage 6. You will want to go for this trophy on your second playthrough.

There is 35 named zombies in the game, 6 of them are the bosses. A named zombie is, well, a zombie with a name above it's head. It's important that you kill them and a bomber doesn't kill them or you won't get credit for the kill. You will get most of these just by playing the game as you have to kil lthem to progress on with the story, but you will most likely miss a few such as 'Jay' as he blows himself up and is hard to kill before he does that. Here is a complete list and where you find them:

  • #1: George - Zombie boy, found in the prologue.
  • #2: Mikaela - Zombie Girl, found in the prologue.
  • #3: Jerry - Hazmat Boss at the end of the prologue.
  • #4: Jay - Bomber zombie, found in stage 1.
  • #5: Ryu - Policeman zombie found in stage 1.
  • #6: Stephanie - Zombie Police woman found in stage 1.
  • #7: Juan - Zombie basketball player, found in stage 1.
  • #8: Fitzgibbon - Zombie teacher, found in stage 1.
  • #9: Zed - Boss at the end of Stage 1.
  • #10: Paul - Zombie Firefighter found in stage 2.
  • #11: Alexander - Zombie footballer found in stage 2.
  • #12: Danielle - Fat female zombie found in stage 2.
  • #13: Josephine - Cheerleader zombie, found in stage 2.
  • #14: Steven - Baseball guy zombie found in stage 2.
  • #15: Uwe - Baseball guy No2 found in stage 2.
  • #16: Vikke - Boss at the end of stage 2.
  • #17: Mark - Fat old man zombie found in stage 3.
  • #18: Chat - Zombie big chicken found in stage 3.
  • #19: Mariska - Boss at the end of stage 3.
  • #20: Tobe - Male Geek/Nerd zombie found in stage 4.
  • #21: Anastasia - Female Geek/Nerd zombie found in stage 4.
  • #22: Wesley - Break dancer zombie found in stage 4.
  • #23: Lucid - Male Rocker zombie found in stage 4.
  • #24: Josey - Boss at the end of stage 4.
  • #25: Bill - Male punk zombie found in stage 5.
  • #26: Christina - Female punk zombie found in stage 5.
  • #27: Brett - Young male rocker zombie found in stage 5.
  • #28: Samantha - Young female rocker zombie found in stage 5.
  • #29: Peter - Flying male zombie found in stage 5.
  • #30: Lewis - Boss fight at the end of stage 5.
  • #31: Killabilly - Boss fight at the end of stage 6.
  • #32: Jack - The shop chicken, found in ranked mode on stage 6.
  • #33: Roberta - Female teacher zombie found in stage 2
  • #34: Marie - Old Obachan zombie found in stage 6.
  • #35: David - Old Ojichan zombie found in stage 6.

If your struggling finding them in the specified chapter then make sure you are killing the bomber zombies before as they tend to blow up others, thus killing the named zombie. The only one where this is liklely to happen with is 'Jay' during Stage 1. You will reach an area where on one side will be bomber zombies, the other is fire zombies. You have to quickly kill Jay with your best combos or he will explode upon a fire zombie touching him, Jay only appears in hard mode.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1134/A19.jpgOMG, Music Is Soooo Coooool (S)

Collected all BGM.

You buy BGM from the shops that are appear in each of the stages, they cost 3 platinum medals each to buy but some of them you will unlock and not have to buy. To get the music to unlock you have to complete specific requirements such as beating stages on ceratin difficulties, beating dads scores etc. To unlock the final one for each genre you have to beat all of dads scores until all will be available for purchase, so one of the last trophies you will get. Once you have bought them all the trophy will unlock shortly afterwards. Don't worry about buying the BGMs till later on in the game until you have all of them to buy. Dodge & Counter Zed's Electric Balls 15 times.

Note: This trophy is cumulative.

Stage 1 boss fight, Zed.

At the end of this stage you need to fight Zed, for a walkthrough see my boss walkthroughs at the top of the guide. After part 2 of the fight with the speakers Zed will throw these electric balls at you. He will have two attacks that involve the electric balls and they are when he floats in the air and fires them and the next is when he headbangs and they fly out of him. You want to dodge then when they come out of him (If you don't you can't counter them back), when they return you will need to press :circle: to avoid them, it then hits Zed. Make sure you don't hit him until you have dodged 15. Not all of his attacks involve the balls, to get him to use the electric ball attack more frequently uou can keep leap frogging over him and sometimes it cancels out his melee and charge attacks. Succeed in QTE at edge of Vikke's ship.

Stage 2 boss fight, Vikke.

At the end of this stage you need to fight Vikke, for a walkthrough see my boss walkthroughs at the top of the guide. After you do the first part his torso will be floating and his legs just running around, now to get the trophy you need to NOT HURT THE LEGS (If you do you will have to wait until later in the part for them to come back), leave them alone. You want to stand by the edge of the ship by a shield and wait until the legs run to you and dropkick you, hopefully if you and the legs were positioned right you will get kicked off the edge by the legs and have to do a QTE to get back up again, as soon as you complete the QTE and climb back onto the ship the trophy will unlock, it's an easy QTE so you shouldn't have trouble here. Dodge all balloon attacks in Mariska battle.

Stage 3 boss fight, Mariska.

At the end of this stage you need to fight Mariska, for a walkthrough see my boss walkthroughs at the top of the guide. During the fight you need to avoid the bubbles, this is one of her main attacks so there will be a lot of bubbles to avoid. The main advice I can give you is to just strafe the whole thing run around the circle and you won't get hit at all by the bubbles. You can get hit by the combine havester things, the crane and the hand, just not the bubbles. If you fail, just restart from the :start: menu or kill yourself. This will put you back at the start of the boss fight. As I said before, strafe and you won't get hit at all. You'll know is you get hit by a bubble as you will get put inside the bubble, remember, other attacks don't count and you can get hit by those. Here's a video guide by PowerPyx:

Funk Josey in the last 10 seconds.

Stage 4 boss fight, Josey.

At the end of this stage you need to fight Josey, for a walkthrough see my boss walkthroughs at the top of the guide. Now, all you need to do is continue the boss fight as usual. First, you will fight Josey and he is flying around in the UFO. Just get him to zero health. Now, once your on the UFO you need to destroy the blue generators. Destroy all but one and leave it on about 1/4 or less health. Now the annoying wait, the timer should have about 1:45 left on it so you just want to dodge all of his laser attacks until the timer reaches about 20 seconds. Now destroy it and move onto Josey, there should be about 12 seconds or so left, now move towards and then do the finisher. If you finish the finisher QTE and there's under 10 seconds left the trophy will unlock shortly afterwards, it takes about 5 seconds to finish the QTE if you mash quickly. You can destroy all the generators and then just wait until it reachs 12 or so seconds, he will never regenerate health. You can't really restart this because there isn't time, so if you fail you have to do the whole stage again. Here's a video guide by PowerPyx:

Counter Lewis' attack 10 times.

Note: This trophy is cumulative and your stat will be remembered the next time you play this boss fight stage.

Stage 5 boss fight, Lewis.

At the end of this stage you need to fight Lewis, for a walkthrough see my boss walkthroughs at the top of the guide. This is at the very start of the boss fight. Lewis will be driving around on his bike and trying to run you over. You need to get his health down to zero here and then once that is done he will circle the room. As soon as he starts charging towards you make sure your ready and do the finsher QTE, if you succeed here he will fall off of his bike and Nick will say go and finish him. DO NOT GO AND FINISH HIM, you want to wait until he gets back on his bike (Takes about 30 seconds for it to happen). The bike will then drive on its own, try to run you over, you have to press :circle: when prompted and you will avoid counter him, repeat 10 times for the trophy. Cut off 20 fingers during Killabilly's fight!

Note: This trophy is cumulative and carries on the next time you play this boss fight stage.

Stage 6 boss fight, Killabilly (Swan).

During this entire stage you fight killabilly, for a walkthrough see my boss walkthroughs at the top of the guide. This is the final boss fight in the game, killabilly. For the first part you just have to complete the stage and build the cars, avoid lasers etc. Once you reach him you will get put in his hand and you have to shoot his face with the blaster and stab his hand to move about. If you run out of ammo stand still and wait for the two flying zombies to appear, kill them to get ammo. Even though he pokes you with his finger you cannot cut them off with the QTE. As soon as he throws you down he will slam his hands onto the stage, this is the part where you cut his fingers off (You need to do this to damage him, so you will most likely get this trophy anyway). You need to just go up to either hand and hit them with the chainsaw. I used the combo 'Armadillo Spin' as it has long reach and can cut up to four off at once if done correctly, his fingers will get cut off then leaving a stump behind. It will eventually regenerate and you can do it all over again. Each finger you cut off counts towards the 20. Trophy will unlock during the fight after cutting off 20 fingers. Rescued all classmates in Prologue.

There's 3 classmates in the prologue to save them you simply need to kill all the zombies around the 3 of them. Heres a guide for each one:

Classmate #1 - This guy you meet right at the start, it shows him getting bitten by the zombie and all you need to do is kill all the zombies around him. He has no health bar and cannot die. So don't worry about doing it quickly. Once the helicopter flys off, that is him saved.

Classmate #2 - Shortly after the other one, this classmate is on top of a news van. Simply kill all the zombies around them and then you will save them. This classmate also cannot be killed so you don't have to worry about doing this quickly. Once the helicopter takes them that counts as a save.

Classmate #3 - This final one is the hardest of the three to rescue. You first meet him shortly after the last classmate and he's up a street lamp. Kill the zombies around the light and he will fall down. He has a health bar and that's indicated by the blue bar above of him. You have to escort him quite far and there will be many zombies trying to kill you, all you need to do is stand by him and hit all the zombies so they go for you and not him. He will eventually just stand at the top by the gate and you need to kill all of the zombies, make sure he doesn't die and then be gets carried off in the helicopter.

If you saved all 3 the trophy will unlock during the helicopter crash cutscene.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1134/609.jpgAccidental Vandalism (B)

Destroyed 300 objects in the game.

This is refering to any object in the game that is destructible. Almost every object is and you should really be destroying all the objects anyway as you get medals from some of them and they are a key point in beating dads scores. Anything that looks like it can be destroyed, destroy it. Examples are chairs, fences, benchs etc. The trophy will unlock after destoying 300 objects, which I did in stage 2 (Trophy unlocked for me then as there is hundreds of lockers and chairs to destroy, there is easily 300 objects in this stage alone). Don't worry about this as you with out a doubt unlock this just by playing the game.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1134/A46.jpgGo, Medal Racer, Go! (B)

Picked up all zombie medals on the rooftop with Chainsaw Dash.

Note: You HAVE to chainsaw dash into the medals, you cannot walk into them and just pick them up. You have to be dashing, so if you miss one go back and dash into it, not walk into it.

During stage 2, about halfway through the stage you go onto the rooftop. The first part of the rooftop has the medals but you DON'T need these for the trophy. The only medals that count are the ones after it says 'Game Start' at 1:38 in the video below. You will be using chainsaw dash which is when Juliet runs forward with her chainsaw pointing out to the front. It's a good way to run fast in other stages too. What you want to do to get the trophy is collect all the medals after it says 'Game Start' and most of them are grouped together in straight lines. I did this without a guide, it's not that difficult. Heres a small text guide:

This starts when it says 'Game start', you go through the broken building and off a ramp then collect some medals in the air. You now have to go right and down the long rooftop until you reach the ramp at the end, go up either pad to reach the next area. this area starts with you just zig zagging across the roof with lightining bolts, make sure to avoid the lightning. Go up the first ramp then you go left, now you have to go on the furthest right speed pad to get the ones inthe air, then turn left towards the gap in the fence collecting the medals along the way. Now, some firemen zombies appear kill them then do the nick thing to free the ramp. Go up the ramp and youll clear the fence, then you turn right towards another ramp, go up the center pad to get the medals in the air here. Then you turn right again adn have to make a choice to go left or right, go right. Collect all the medals down here (Quickly run in a straight line or building will crush you, don't touch the controller, jst leave it go or you will get crushed). Zig zag again down the rooftop until you reach the ramp, the last medal is just before this. Now pause the game so you can restart if you don't get it. Trophy should pop shortly afterwards, if not restart.

Here's a video by PowerPyx, look at 1:38 onwards:

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1134/000.jpgLegendary harvester (B)

Harvested all crops in the 1st field with the combine in Stage 3.

During stage 3 you will be driving a comine harvester around a field (You drive the harvester twice in this stage, but only the first one counts for the trophy), you need to kill 100 zombies to move onto the next part. To drive the harvester you need to press :r2: to go forwards and :l2: to go backwards, simple. To harvest the field you just have to cut all of the crops in the field, pretty simple really. Make sure you don't kill all the zombies as this part ends then and if you didn't harvest everything the trophy will not unlock. If however you have harvested everything and theres still a few zombies left the trophy will unlock shortly afterwards. What I did was just drive around cutting the corners in a big sqaure. So I was just driving around in circles basically, makes things easier so you don't miss anything. Here is a video by Powerpyx:

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1134/97C.jpgNo Fear Of Heights (B)

Beat the Gondola game without shooting.

This is one of the hardest trophies in the game, it's so random and annoying that you will most likely rage quit your first time trying this like I did. At the end of stage 4 there is an arcade machine with a green arrow pointing to it, this is the gondola game (You have to play as part of the stage, so you can't miss it). You have to avoid everything (get hit at all, by anything and you die)and keep your finger away from :triangle:! If you shoot you will have to retry it again, you can play the game as many times as you like though. What you want to do is edge up slowly with :ls: and predict where an obstacle is going to spawn. Later on there will be floors that rotate around and if you are on the floor when that happens then you will fall through and die, so be extra careful of those. About halfway through you have a choice for what you want to do, go right towards the guys dropping things or try and go left through the moving floors, just so you know you cannot go the left way as believe me, I tried. The end is the worst as it's a narrow line and you just have to keep moving and switching side to side, if you stand still chances are you will die. When you reach the finish and you didn't fire at all the trophy will unlock shortly afterwards.

For the first part you just want to move up staight up, the guy will not hit you as he is in anothyer square. Once you reach the hole in the ground go left and then go right, for this guy just wait to the right of him as as soon as he throws something and it is clear move to the next bit all the way to the left to avoid the big rectangle that falls down. Keep going up and when you see the blue disc moving, wait in the far left side, when it stops move over to avoid the cow it drops. For this part you have to go along the right path, the left one with the moving floors is impossible. This can be a little tricky. because there is two guys directly ahead of you throwing things, you just have to pray that they don't through one at the same time or you will die. After you reach about halfway up this corridor you can move to the squares that have just appeared on the left hand side, this will give you more room to breath but beware as there is another guy throwing things directly ahead of you. When you are ready just make a dash for it and make sure you don't get in the path of the far guy while turning the corner, you are nearly at the end now. You can either go around him right or left, go right as it is easier. You are now at the bit with the discs, very easy to avoid. Just make sure you don't get in there path and you will be fine. Near the end there will be giant cars falling down and the only way to avoid them is by being in the far left/right sqaures, so make sure you are close by to those incase one falls on you. After a car has passed move all the way over the the right hand side so you don't get hit by further cars. Before crossing the path of the car chucking guy make sure he throws one just before you make the move to avoid getting hit. The cow here is easily avoided, for the sqaure and the rectangle you will want to edge forward so you actiavte them and then move back the way you came and sit on the far left side until they both fall down, move up and you are now at the hardest and final part. This bit is so random, there is loads of guys on all 3 squares of the corridor and also discs in places. My best advice is to just go as fast as you can up here or you will get hit because of the randomness and no safe spots. As soon as you reach the last bit line up in the middle and then continue to the end. The final bit you just have to move over the moving floor panels, so as soon as it is save to go just move across to reach the goal. Here's a video guide by PowerPyx

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1134/D62.jpgLittle Sisters Are The Worst! (B)

Do not get hit by Rosalind's wrecking ball.

During stage 5 is when Rosalind is operating the wrecking ball, you will eventually reach a part in the stage where a cutscene plays out. This is when the wrecking ball bit begins, Rosalind will smash the warehouse wall in and you need to go in there. She is helping you and and not trying to hurt you with it, it will benefit killing zombies too. The ball is big and it has a mist round it so you can easily see it. As soon as you see it about to come around for a swing be ready to dodge it, the ball has one path and it isnt going crazy all over the place. The trophy is easier than it sounds and you shouldn't worry about it, just concentrate on avoiding it as your main priority. Once you kill the first 15 zombies, another wall will be created for you to go through, kill the 12 zombies here for the next part. I found this part to be the hardest because the ball flys about pretty fast and it's a bit out of control, you need to kill all the zombies around it to protect Rosalind, once you have killed all the flying zombies around her then a final wall will be created and if you didn't get hit at all the trophy will unlock. Clear all the Kill Car QTE's in a row.

At the first part of stage 6 you will have to build a rampwith four cars, you will want to stand in the way of these cars to initiate a QTE (:triangle:) to cut the car in half. To get the trophy you have to be successful on all of the QTEs (There is only one button prompt per car). Once you have built the ramp with 4 cars you go to the next area, then you have to build a ramp again but this time it is out of 3 cars. Do what you did before then go up the ramp to the next area. If you didn't get hit at all then the trophy will unlock just after the timer where the building is falling down, all the way down the road from the last ramp you built. If a car hits you, just restart from the :start: menu and you will go back to the start of the level, it is really hard to fail at this though. Here is a video guide by PowerPyx:

My Diffuclty Rating: 2/10

For this stage you will want to take advantage of 'Maelstrom Spin' and 'Armadillo Spin', this is all I used throughout the stage, you use Maelstrom Spin by by pressing :cross:, :square:, :square: then. Juliet will spin around her chainsaw 360' and it has very far reach, gets sparkle hunting all the time. The other one is done by pressing :cross:, :cross:, :square: and Juliet does and overhead spin which is goof for stronger zombies. Another good move to use is the very final one called 'holy chainsaw'. This kills so many zombies and does a hefty amount of sparkle hunting, you don't even have to be in start soul mode for it to work. To get the move you have to complete the game and it costs 999 medals, it's performed by pressing; :square:, :square:, :square:, :square:, :triangle:, :triangle: (Don't press too fast or you will most likely fail the combo). The prologue is fairly simple, it's easy to beat the score on and it's nice and short stage. What you want to do for the very first part is get all the zombies gathered together in a big group, then try and get sparkle hunting here and not enter star soul mode. I manged to get lots of medals just from this one bit. The next area there is and classmate on the floor, wait until all the zombies swarm him (Don't worry he can't die), then go in for the kill and try and kill them all to get sparkle hunting. The rest of the level you just want to rush it and use the above combos, make sure to be quick though to beat the time and get the speedy finish bonus if you are on ranked mode. I reccomend entering star soul mode when you are in the street with the last classmate and the many zombies, or you can use it to kill Hazmat and friends easier and quicker (This is the better option because of the ranked bonuses). Remember the medals you get don't count towards the medals you can spend in the shop though. This is an easy level so you shouldn't have any difficulty.

This is a very long stage, as you can guess by dads time. There isn't many places to get sparkle hunting because of the few zombie groups, so I'll leave it to you to work out how to do this stage (It's not that bad if you get a good time etc). For where to use star soul, I suggest using it while in the smoke filled classroom as theres some stong zombies there and it will be good for sparklre hunting. At the very end you have to do the total pain in the ass birthday cake bit, if you want the ranked bonus you cannot use star soul here if you want a bonus. What you want to do is stun them with drop kick for an easy kill, for the running ones just hit them once and they will concentrate on you instead of the birthday cake. Remember to use Nick shake in every part if you have the tickets (You can only do it once per part, a part is what I have written in the spoilers bellow), as you get about 100 or so medals from it which really helps beating his score, remember the medals you get don't count towards the medals you can spend in the shop though.

This stage was so random for me, but most of it is on the rroftops using chainsaw dash so you rely on time mostly. The places where you will be able to get them though is when you are in the area with the crawler zombies, if you use Maelstrom Spin you can get sparkle hunting on all the groups of 3. I suggest you use Star Soul wherever you feel uyoyou are lacking, I used it during the firefighter part in the school as there is a lot of them and it can be a time sink. While you are doing chainsaw dash always run into the groups of three zombies as you will get sparkle hunting. At the very end you have to play zombie baseball, you can get lots of sparkle hunting here if you just go mad with the blaster towards a group (One hit kill all the time on the zombies), I was getting 3 decap sparkle hunitng all the time which boosted my score a lot. It is very easy to beat dads score on this stage because of the shear amount of zombies where you have sparkle hunting opportunities, I managed to do it without trying. The main thing you want to do in this level is rush and kills the zombies with the two combos I have mentioned. You will want to use star soul mode early on when you get it as you will refill your meter quickly, use it where you feel you aren't doing so well. At the very end with 32 (You will gets tonnes with 32 zombies) you should use it. You really shouldn't need much help with this level if juliet is fully upgraded and you have decent combos, just make sure to kil every zombie and get the medals. Also for the mecha chicken, use 'Armidillo Spin' as it one hit kills each head. The trophy will unlock on the stats screen after beating the level. Remember to use Nick shake in every part (You can only do it once per part, a part is what I have written in the spoilers bellow), as you get about 100 or so medals from it which really helps beating his score, remember the medals you get don't count towards the medals you can spend in the shop though. Dads Score:

For this stage you will want to take advantage of 'Maelstrom Spin' and 'Armadillo Spin', this is all I used throughout the stage, you use Maelstrom Spin by by pressing :cross:, :square:, :square:. There is an exploit on this level so you can beat dads scores very easily, I'll explain how to do it; during this stage you have to play arcade games to progress in the level. You will eventually reach a game where you have to use doors and elevators to move Juliet up to the very top floor to pass the game. While making your way up to the top the lights will go off and you have to do the thing with the QTEs and jumping on the zombies heads to pass. What you want to do is just jump down there and kill the four sombies with your fastest combo (You get about 2,000 odd points per time). Once they are dead you just have to use the elevator again to your left, fall down again and do the same thing as before. When your score is over 60,000 (If you are confident you don't die later on, then do it till about 80,000 points) you can continue on as you normally would with the stage to get dads score trophy. Easy stage using this glitch, also good for medal and zombie farming. The trophy will unlock on the stats screen after beating the level.

You really don't need me to explain a guide for you hear, you will most likely get this from just playing the stage your first time going through the story if if you don't die. I'll give you some pointers though just in case you are having trouble. For the hazmat guys at the start I used star soul on them, it quickly deals with them and you don't have to waste time killing the the normal way, so you can just go in there will a combo and deal with them. You can also use it with the many police officers in the consruction site area, as these are considered hard zombies so more points for you. You will want to make sure you save one until the very end though with the 32 zombies for mass sparkle hunting. The trophy will unlock on the stats screen after beating the level.

Clear Stage 6, surpassing Dad's score.

Dads Score:

  • Score: 80,700
  • Time: 22 minutes 47 Seconds
  • Sparkle Hunting: 13
  • Medals: 219
  • Platinum Medals: 8

Suggested Rank Mode Setting: Score Attack

My Diffuclty Rating: 3/10

Let's go through the point system first, so you understand how it works:

Point system

  • Total Kills: Each zombie adds 500 points to your total, same for special zombies.
  • Zombie Medals: Medals are rewarded for all kinds of reasons, such as destroying certain objects in the environment, killing special zombies and using Nick Shake.
  • Platinum Medals: These can only be obtained by killing a named zombie, or a zombie with a health bar and through sparkle hunting. These are rare though and you won't get many chances per playthrough to obtain them. So you want to use sparkly hunting where I tell you to do it to get the best chance of receiving these medals.
  • Sparkle Hunting: This is when you decapitate 3+ zombie heads within quick succession or one swipe of the chainsaw. Easy ways to activate sparkle hunting are to stun the zombies in one of three ways, one you can use dropkick in a group and that will knock a few over, two, you can use one of Nicks ticket abilities to stun multiple zombies over a short period of time and finally three, you can use star soul by pressing :r2: when the meter in the bottom left is full, this one hit kills all zombies and is very easy to get sparkle hunting. Fill it up by collecting stars in the stages and from zombies. Combos such as Maelstrom Spin with most likely give you sparkle hunting without trying. If you get it on hard zombies then you get a lot of medals.
  • Time: This is a bonus given for how quickly you finish the stage, it's very easy to achieve if you just run everywhere with chainsaw dash in the stages after stage 1. You will not want to explore much when going for dads scores, as that can effect the outcome.
  • Getting killed (Using Continues): You don't want to die or you lose 5000 points, if you do your chances are down the drain for beating his scores. What you want to do is.. not die. Always dodge and be sure to remove bomber zombies as they can be very dangerous.
  • Ranked Mode Bonuses: These bonuses are only available in ranked mode, they include things like 'save all students in this area' etc. The more of these your complete the more points you will get.

General Tips and info

  • You can beat Dads scores on any difficulty or mode.
  • You can beat Dads scores without trying if you have good combos.
  • You can move faster with chainsaw dash after stage 1
  • Take advantage of red barrels.
  • Take advantage of blue barrels.
  • Take advantage of Nick Toss.
  • Zombies during boss fights don't count for points (Except Killabilly)
  • Dodge over zombies as soon as you see them attack with :circle:
  • Use Nick shake whenever you can for many medals
  • Stun zombies with other Nick games, and pom pom bashes for easy decaps.
  • If you die and don't want to lose 5000 points, don't press continue on the death screen. Instead, exit back to the stage menu and then select the stage you were just playing. The death will not have counted. Thanks to Terminator for finding out that.

Suggested Combos

  • Holy Chainsaw - :square:, :square:, :square:, :square:, :triangle:, :triangle:
  • Armadillo Spin - :cross:, :cross:, :square:
  • Chainsaw Stab - :square:, :square:, :triangle:
  • Maelstrom Spin - :cross:, :square:, :square:

Ranked Mode Info

For ranked mode you have the choice of choosing 3 settings when selecting a rank mode stage. The first is score, then time and then finally medals. I played on 'Score' everytime as I found it the easiest to beat dads score on. The other modes are pretty obvious for what they do, you get more points for getting a good time on time attack and you get more points for getting more medals on time attack. You will want to select score attack though as that is how I have written this part of the guide, score attack is just the same as story mode really.

For this stage you will want to take advantage of 'Maelstrom Spin' and 'Armadillo Spin', this is all I used throughout the stage, you use Maelstrom Spin by by pressing :cross:, :square:, :square:. For the first bit I was able to get sparkle hunting on all of the zombies you have to kill and that boosted my score quite a lot. For the rest you just want to run as fast as you can with chainsaw dash (Don't stop to kill zombies, leave them alone), make sure you go up all of the boost pads to get more fuel and get the ranked bonus if your on ranked mode. The only dangerous part is the bit with the red and blue barrel and the flying zombies as the red barrel can kill you if your not careful. Make sure to deal with it sooner rather than later. At the end when you have to kill the zombies just before reaching Killabilly use Start soul here as it wil be your last chance. For killabilly, make sure you kill the flying zombies ASAP or you won't get more blaster bullets, when he puts you down you can then start hitting his fingers. When he pulls back to air guitar, make sure you run around in circles with the pickup chasing you, that way the pickup will run over the bomber zombies and kill them, saves you getting hurt. Try and get sparkle hunting on the zombies that here drops out his hands. This is one of the shorter levels and is easy to finish in terms of beating dads scores, as long as you don't mess up you should be fine. Remember to use Nick shake in every part if you have any tickets (You can only do it once per part, a part is what I have written in the spoilers bellow), as you get about 100 or so medals from it which really helps beating his score, remember the medals you get don't count towards the medals you can spend in the shop though.

Ranked Mode Bonus Requirements:

[spoiler=stage6]

Part 1

  • Sparkle hunting - 6 decaps
  • No chainsaw dash overheating experienced
  • All cars dodged
  • All speed pads jumped
  • All Killabilly lasers dodged

Part 2

  • Lucky Nick not used during killabilly fight
  • Lollipop not used during killabilly fight
  • Speedy finish during killabilly fight

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1134/961.jpgCongratulations! Happy Birthday! (G)

Watched the happy ending.

This ending is unlocked upon saving all the students in the game. There is 21 students in the game, you will want to refer to 'San Romero Nights savior' above for info on how to save them all. If you missed any you can just go back to the stage you missed them and save them, you don't need to replay the whole game again. I have included what happens in the happy ending in the spoiler below:

[spoiler=happyending]After Nick sacrifices himself to kill Killabilly, he then is floating around in space and because he was so brave etc for sacrificing himself he has been allowed to go back to Earth, but there's a mix up. Nicks new body is Morikawa's so he is a lot smaller than before, smaller than Juliet even. AFter that, you find out your Dad is still alive and you go back home. There is then a samll cinemtaic comic strip which shows them all sitting happily around the table celebrating Juliets party, nice give Juliet a present. She opens it up and there is roses within the box, the roses then reveal the word 'Fin', meaning 'finish. That was a nice ending now wasn't it.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1134/995.jpgHorrid Birthday (B)

Watched the bad ending.

If you have already got the good ending then just repeat stage 6 again, then choose the option to watch the bad ending (You don't need to get the bad ending first, you can view it with all classmates saved like I explained above). If you didn't bother saving the classmates then you will get this ending before the happy one. The trophy will unlock after the scene explained in the spoiler below.

[spoiler=badending]After Nick sacrifices himself to kill Killabilly, he then is floating around in space and because he was so brave etc for sacrificing himself he has been allowed to go back to Earth, but there's a mix up. Nicks new body is Morikawa's so he is a lot smaller than before, smaller than Juliet even. After that, you find out your Dad is still alive and you go back home. There is then a small cinemtaic comic strip which shows then which shows them all entering the Starling household. The mother is standing at the cooker with her back towards you, something is not right though. She is asking weird questions and then the Starlings realise something is wrong. Then, the mum turns around and it then shows her zombified face. She says that 'Your dinner', then moves into the screen and you hear screams. Not a nice ending to the game.

Lollipop Guide

FAQ

Q. What if I missed one?

A. You can just repeat the stage and pick it up, or you can restart the checkpoint.

Q. Can I get them on easy too

A. Yes you can, but not all of them. I have listed the ones that appear on hard only below.

Q. I swear I have them all but I didn't get the trophy?!

A. This has been reported before, but it is a very rare case. If this happens try playing the stages again and look for any you may have missed. If you haven't then sadly you will have to start again, but don't worry as the game doesn't take long if you just focus on hard difficulty.

Q. One of them isn't showing up?

A. Another rare glitch, sometimes one won't show up if you are on hard (They should all show up on this difficulty). To fix it try restarting from the pause menu, or restarting the entire stage. If it still isn't showing up don't bother continueing, and try again.

Q. Damn, I broke a trampoline! I also didn't pass the vault box good enough!

A. There is a few lollipops that involve tamploines and vault boxes. The trampolines you have to do a QTE and then you reach a lollipop (Careful not to fail and QTEs or it will break). For the vault boxes you have to mash as much as you can and then pass the QTE to reach the lollipop. If you fail either, just restart the checkpoint.

Q. Can I check which ones I have and which ones I am missing?

A. Yes you can, go to juliets bedroom by pressing :triangle: on the game map and then going to the lollipop tab. You can also press :start: during a stage and see which ones you are missing.

Stage 4, Arcade

#25 - Right after you start the stage, its on the right hand side of Juliet by the arcade machines.

#39 - Almost immediately after the last lollipop you have to kill 11 zombies, look at the red barrel in this area. Simply destroy it to make it appear.

#40 - This only appears on hard. When you reach the part where Killabilly is firing lasers out his mouth at you. You will see this on the left hand side, a yellow car will land on top of it. This is the last one, if you got all the others then the trophy will unlock shortly afterwards.

You can post now. I still need to add different strategies and methods here and there, and add a guide for dads scores and the lollipops. Need to give the roadmap an upgrade too and add PowerPyx's videos, all will be done by tonight. There might be a lot of typos in some of the later posts as writing this nearly killed me :p

Feedback appreciated :)

Splendid work Harry!

Looks very detailed - especially your boss fight descriptions are much more detailed than the ones from the other trophy guides. It's like a little strategy guide :)

The platinum difficulty rating looks a little too high though. It's more like a 2/10 or 3/10 in my opinion.

Brilliant guide, especially how te game came out here yesterday.

All the guides are great but IMO this is the best one.

Good work Harry!

EDIT: I've tried the leap frog one a couple of times but it has never unlocked. Do all ten have to be from the front of the zombie, I did a mixture of front and back leaps on the same zombie

No, you can do it from either side of the zombie (Sounded weird, but whatever). Just make sure you're not doing any flips or dodge moves in between of performing the leaps.

I know i've done 10 in a row without doing anything else, tried it twice and nothing, must be glitched or something  :(

I'll keep trying anyway.
