Questions about PSN freebie

Does anyone know if it includes the DLC?
Also, I played this to platinum in 2008 and now I have no game saves etc. Is there a way to get all of the stickers and level creation stuff without playing the entire game again and collecting all of that in a gamesave?

Doesn't come with the DLC.

dirty is right, it doesn't come with any DLC at all.

But since it's free and it's 30 dollars to buy the game in stores with a little bit of DLC, just buy the ones you want, that's what I did and the DLC will work with LBP2 if you do get it.

Oh geesh... my son was also just telling me that all the levels from the first one are playable on the second and that DLC can be used. I didn't know a thing about this and maybe I need to hear a little more about how this works and what is available.

This is a slip from the wiki page, only proof I can find to support what I say on short notice. Everything from LBP1 works on LBP2 but not vice versa. So don't buy LBP2 only stuff for LBP1 cause they won't work and all the stuff from both games will work with LBP Vita.

For the game, Media Molecule has released numerous downloadable content (DLC) packs on the PlayStation Store. All DLC packs released for LittleBigPlanet are also compatible with the sequel, but those designed for LittleBigPlanet 2 are not available in the first game. All costumes from both LittleBigPlanet and LittleBigPlanet 2 will be compatible with the PlayStation Vita version of the game

Thanks for the info from both of you. Does this mean I can beat the DLC levels with LBP 2 and they would count toward the trophies?

I can't tell you that one cause I don't own LBP2 yet. But I'm going to say no and you will need LBP1 to beat the Metal Gear/Pirates DLC trophies.

Unless those trophies are there under LBP2 than it will be different. But without looking I don't think they are.

No, you can't play story levels from LBP1 in LBP2, and the DLC levels like Metal Gear Solid and Pirates of the Carribean are considered story levels, not community levels.

Actions in LBP2 generally won't count towards any trophy requirements for LBP1.

You can play any community level with LBP2. LBP1 DLC - costumes and creator content - are usable in LBP2.
