Tell me about it. I spent a while each night last week trying to reach my 25. Somehow I got there, but far too often they're busy, refuse me, or go sit in their pod to say 'hi'. One player didn't even have a clue what I was talking about (dive-in levels) so I left...
Oh and there were enough times where it failed to load a level so I wonder if it's even working properly. |

Just a note about the Dive in 25 trophy, occasionally when waiting a long time to "dive in", the screen goes white and it resets you to fall from the top of your pod again. If you then play any level on your own after that happens it will add 1 the count towards getting the trophy. It's a weird glitch but if you're getting a lot of refusals and time outs then it's nice to take advantage of.

I wasn't constantly checking my pin to see if it was going up but assume it had to since I don't believe I went through 25 levels with other people. |

One thing I did was to search for community levels that are just movies. Filter by the tag "cinematic" or text search "film". Then Dive In from the results. It is more likely that other players playing/watching will let you join, cos they are doing nothing anyway (and you are going to do nothing either, can't possibly sabotage his score).

I commented another topic about that. If you're in a one-player level, trying to ace something, or have a friend and don't want another then there's a few good reasons to refuse. I had to a few times myself although I wish I could have said to come back in a while when the help was needed.
There were far more 'busy' or 'failed to connect' errors than refusals. |

If I am creating my own level or trying to ace a story level myself, I do refuse others from joining me. But if it is community level, it shouldn't be a concern to me whether someone joins or not, unless I am worried that it will cause my game to lag.
That's why I dive in to cutscene/movie only levels. The current player is doing nothing, you will not be interrupting him in any way, or affecting his score/ace, or causing network lag. So it's more likely that he will allow you to join. |
