These are (in my eyes) conflicting opinions, can you please confirm if I can reload chapters that I failed and once done so just do the last one, or not? I would be grateful because I'm having trouble doing it the "natural" way

No. The trophy description is Complete the game in one sitting with five or less deaths. You need to hit and pick "Start New Game".

Aneurinbiker, what TigerLust means is that you should practice the parts you messed up a bunch before you try another playthrough. If you keep doing that, eventually in a single playthrough you'll only die 5 or less times.

Yeah, if not for that trophy, it would be a 1.5 difficulty - the extra .5 being for DING.

If you follow the instructions of repeating the sections you messed up on, and the last chapter - it should smooth out your run big time. I'm not going to pretend it's easy, but I followed my instructions and got after only a few runs, I believe it was the fifth run or so.

Due to so many people being confused, I have repeated You need to hit and pick "Start New Game" enough times that perhaps they will get it. Perhaps not.

People are confused because it is worded in such a way that it appears you are saying something else, see the discussion on the actual trophy as I posted an update in there...
