I then created a new save and on the first playthrough (without a timer, very first part of the game) i got the trophy, even without a timer showing on the screen it gave it to me. Thanks Hippie for putting us on the right path. I suppose we can consider this trophy glitched, and it seems the quickplay mode trophy might also be glitched, we'll have to see if anyone unlocks it.

Also, Ill try to play all the levels in time trial later to see if that unlocks the qick play trophy. Ill report back on that as well.

EDIT: I just got the Hangar 51 trophy as well. Started a new game and got it on the first run through without the timer, just as mention above. Thanks again. Now on to doing all the time trials.

GOT IT!!!!!!

Heres what I did: Started a new game/save
Beat the hangar(1st level) in under 5 minutes
Trophy popped

I dont know if that is how your supposed to do it or If it came up because it was my 700th time trying. Hope it works for anyone having trouble. Good luck

this better not happen to me, i have no platinums and was releying on this to be my first. Why sony allows dumbarse glitches like this to happen in the first place is ridiculous.

I've went to crystal skull 1 and replayed 4 levels in there on story mode and it still hasn't popped the trophy. I haven't played two players on any of it.

I played that level over and over with my old save, then read here that you should start up a new save and play the first level over. I did just that and finished it in under 5 and the trophy popped up. Gotta say thanks to everyone who pointed me in the right direction.

I got it in the fashion that everyone has been posting by starting a new game and not using any cheats, but I don't think I could have cut it any closer because I finished in 4:59.84. I feel accomplished now.
