199 of 200 gold bricks

I am stuck! I have combed the game looking for my last gold brick. I have all crests, true wizard and all students in peril I only need 1 more gold brick.
The Gold brick detector doesnt apear until I go outside to the owlery but I have both bricks for this area. Any one have this happen to them. This is the only area that the gold arrow is visible.

You can try playing without the 3.00 patch installed but I doubt this will help much. I have a feeling that all you can do is delete your save and start over .

agreed yeah this DLC wasnt great but it certainly didnt ruin the game for me and I thought the other 3 DLCs were insane

Here's something funny. I farmed Crawmerax today not looking for a pearl weapon, but an Eridian weapon. In the past I have always sold them whenever I have found them. One thing I forgot to mention. Timing is important. Go to the middle section of the ramp. Go up to the curtain as far as you can possibly go. Prepare your crosshair for where you think the boss is going to spawn. Do not shoot him while the crosshair is white. Right as it turns red, try to go for the head and unload. Especially in the early rounds, he should fly back and the curtains should close quickly. I already skipped three rounds and I'm now on round 7. Woo hoo. Why didn't I know about this earlier? =[
