So if one has already gotten the Plat in the Vanilla version, then gets this version, you'll still have to rush through the Main Story Cases to get to the DLC cases? And has it been confirmed that Completing Vanilla then switching to Complete for the DLC will pop the DLC trophies?

The answer is yes to both BUT like has been mentioned above, the Complete edition will force you to start a new game as it does not recognise the saves from the Vanilla release.

Mother of God, I am so pissed right now... I borrowed the vanilla edition from a friend over half a year ago. I enjoyed the game very much, but never managed to get 100% game completion. Bought the complete edition today so I can enjoy the DLC AND start off where I left... BUT NO, this isn't possible... I have to collect al those damn golden filmreels and vehicles again (even though I have the trophies, but I miss the 100% game completion trophy)... mehhh

Yup, the DLC cases are incorporated into the various desk cases. I kind of like it that way. It feels like one complete story experience to me.

That sucks, I had the same exact thing happen to me. Too bad you didn't see the conversation on the last page before hand.

That's fine, but they should have either A)made the save files compatible/the same (the trophy list is) or B) given a prompt upon starting the game asking if the user wishes to incorporate them in the story or something.

You can get plat with a used copy, everything can be done offline

If you want 100% you have choice between used standard (under 14$) + the Rockstar pass from PSN, on special offers its about 5$ I think, or go with complete edition, which should be cheap used pretty soon, and you can also get 100% on a used copy of complete edition, offline & all

I'm using a borrowed copy of complete edition to get my 100%, pain in the ass as I have to do all the cases again, but it's pretty fast when you know what you need & just rush thru without thinking bout ratings

Huh? As far as I know the Rockstar Pass has always been 12 bucks, maybe on sale 1 time, but not recently. Though, the 1 year anniversary of the game is in a week or so; maybe there will be a sale on it. Not holding out for it though.

If you buy regular + pass it would be 26. Whether that's better than the complete or not is up to the buyer.

Go for the complete. Many very easy trophies from the DLC. Besides, 100% plat is way better than ~60% plat
