Is anyone else finding this game extremely repetitive and boring?!
The first 4 hours I played I thought "WOWzerz I just made a mess in my trouserz" - but now, I'm finding it a grind / struggle to get the enthusiasm to put it on and play, i'm up to the Vice desk now and it's just so samey all the time !! It's a quality game, but it's so repetitive, it's on a par with Assasins Creed 1 ! |

I rented it from the local Redbox near my house and I was excited to play it, but I suppose i had a hard time getting into it. I kept getting mad when i would only get 3/4 questions right, and kept quitting out and doing those questions over. I decided this is not a game I can just rent and beat. Im going to wait until this game comes from GameFly so that I can keep it a little longer. I hope the story does pick up tho.

How dare you compare this game to the first Assassin's Creed, which almost put me in a coma and almost (but fortunately not totally) turned me off on the rest of the franchise?
![]() And hey, Vice is the shortest desk in the game, so just sit tight and wait until things get very interesting again at the Arson desk. Arson has some of the most fascinating (and gruesome) crime scenes in the game and it will tie several plot threads together.

Haha
Well I look forward to getting to the Arson desk then. With reference to Assasins Creed though - I guess it's not fair for me to compare. I couldn't believe how repetitive that game was, I don't think i've ever played anything like it lol. Apart from the last hour of the game it was basically just a copy n' paste job rofl. Star Wars The Force Unleashed 2 was abit like Ass Creed aswell ![]() I do think L.A. Noire is a quality game don't get me wrong, just wish it was a bit more varied. Hopefully the Arson desk it'll start cranking up a bit like you said.

What story? I'm on the first case on the Arson desk and yes, I just found quite a surprise at the end of the Vice desk, but honestly, I don't feel the need to carry on with the story. I haven't played it for two days now. I love the investigating and stuff, but the story just isn't progressing with me.
