I was going to post a guide of my own for this, but two internships, 18 units, and a part time job has pretty much decimated my free time. So instead I'll just clear up inaccuracies in this guide, seeing how it's the first one released.
I'll also add a few suggestions that you can make use of, or someone else that is going to post a guide can. Either one works. But regardless, good luck with the sticky. A Wink and a Smile: You left out one extremely vital piece of information. There is more than one method of persuading a NPC in this game. There are many instances where having enough skill points in any given skill will prompt you to persuade someone. I have done two Detect Hidden persuasions, a Blacksmith persuasion, an Alchemy persuasion, and a Stealth persuasion. Not only that, but when they appear it is without a chance to fail. They too count towards the total and are a great incentive to find all the skill books and do training every chance you get as early on as possible. Minimum level requirements for skill trophies:: For some very strange reason you have the wrong skill and/or level values for all of these trophies. The correct ones are: Elixir of Fate - 5 Alchemy skill, level 8. Allows you to craft with four reagents. Master of the Forge - 7 Blacksmith skill, level 8. Allows you to use 5 components. The fifth of which is the gems. Romancing the Gem: 8 Sagecraft skill, level 16. Allows you to craft an epic gem. Bookworm: I purchased 10+ books at three different locations. Sadly I can't remember the name of two of them, but Adessa is the main one. In Adessa, go to the first store called "Arcadium" and save after you open the door. After saving, walk straight ahead to Arthesa Lille, talk to her, then open her shop. She sells sixteen books that will set you back roughly 9,000 depending on your mercantile skill. You can read them all and see if the trophy. If it pops just load your save and enjoy the trophy. If it doesn't you can either continue on if you have the expendable cash, or restart and return later to repeat the process. While you're still in Adessa go check out the various buildings. The Domicus will net you 3 or 4 books, Sandstone Villa has a few, and the Bursar has 4 as well. In total Adessa has roughly 30 books to be had. Take advantage of it. I'll try to re-discover the other two merchants. Destiny Dominated: This trophy definitely can't be constituted as missable. A missable trophy is something that can be missed outright during the course of your gameplay, that can't be backtracked to after you have passed that point in the game. No one ever classifies difficulty trophies as missable. Ever. Niskaru Slayer: While it does come naturally you can still make some suggestions for how to obtain this, especially at an early point in the game. For example: Complete the entire Warsworn quest chain and this will unlock half way through your final quest. The quest chain is obtainable very early on in the game and offers lucrative rewards for completion—in addition to a trophy. And Then There Were None: Just to clarify this a bit more you need to have the killing blow be the ability, not just use it on them a significant amount. The key is to use any ability on them that will finish them off after they are very low. This is an especially good method for people with very low mana regen but want to continuously work on this trophy throughout the game. A Life of Crime + Crime Doesn't Pay: A substantially faster way to do these trophies—in tandem no less—is to remove your weapon and walk up to a guard. Turn on aggression then punch them. Immediately pay the assault fine and then punch them again. Repeat the process until both trophies pop within a matter of seconds. I performed this in Adessa while doing the following trophy Where's My Wallet? Go to Adessa during the day and the streets will be flooded with NPC's. If you are already maxed out on what your stealth can be at your particular level, just proceed to pick pocketing people over and over again until it pops. If it isn't maxed then head over to the fateweaver (Simon Crowe, bottom right path of the map) and save your game before unbinding your destiny. Then max out your stealth and get to pick pocketing. While you're there you can pick up the 16 books from the Arcadium, do the crime trophies, and even purchase 200k worth of goods at the weapon to force the Big Spender trophy to pop. Blades of Glory: I don't know where you heard that unique quest items don't count. I got my trophy off of the second to last Warsworn quest reward.

Thanks for the guide, and thanks everyone for your tips and hard work.
![]() Question : can i complete the story on Hard, to get the "Destiny Dominated" trophy, and then complete all the side quests on Easy ? It looks like changing the difficulty setting may affect trophies, and I don't really want to miss them just because of that. Is it possible ? |

Edit: Also, to be clear (since I couldn't find this information online anywhere), you do not need to harvest Essences of Fate for the Green Thumb trophy. The trophy unlocked for me even though I had only harvested 8 of them. Last edited by JFryes; 02-17-2012 at 03:25 PM. |
