About Narville, man, I really hate when popular media frequently portray commissioned officers as egoistic bastards. I myself know that men's safety is important but dude, Earth is in fucking danger.

What I dont understand is how we are countless times told the Helghan planet's atmosphere is toxic, acidic, etc and yet the ISA gung-ho grunts trod without any special gear even after staying there for 6 months! That is a big big screwup in the whole Helghast planet which defined their troops with the masks and all.
I hope the next game allows gamers to play as Helghast and repay Earth the favour for the genocide the ISA incurred on them. |

But i dont get the part when stahl seem to send an attack on another ship. Which ship it was and why he sent an attack on the ship? Can someone explain me what happen? |

Beat the game last night and i liked the story. As far as what happened at the end though, im pretty sure that it was Emperor Scolar Visari that walks out of the escape pod and that it was a double that was killed in KZ2.
In the intro we see Visari walking through the palace, Visari’s daughter first takes his hand, yet quickly retracts her hand in disgust as if she realizes that the man whose hand she is holding is not her real father. Cant wait for KZ4 now, hope they invade earth this time and we see a more real life like setting for the game.

About the story, I liked KZ2's story much more than this one. It was more grounded in reality and had more emotion to it. KZ3 was a bit over the top and too wild for me, and I was distanced by it. Seriously, how many times can you narrowly escape death? Sneaking in to get Narville was that easy? It's good entertainment but I really had to suspend my disbelief on this one. And Stahl or whoever surviving at the end is such a cliche... of course I was expecting it because there has to be part 4, but still. I didn't like how it started, but after the first few areas it picked up and had a good variety of settings. I liked the arctic area and the Arms Factory. |

Am I missing something here... at the end of the game they launch a nuke? where the hell did the nuke get into this tiny ship? WTF
and I dont think it's Stahl who gets out of the ship since he was in the middle of the explosion xD

Killzone 3 story was actually good imo.
The ending made me feel sorry for them, thinking everyone was dead but then the cliffhanger gave me so many questions. I hate cliffhanger but its good to knw that there is going to be a Killzone 4 coz when i heard GG where going to make a new IP for Sony that was not going to be an FPS i was thinking that they might have ended the Killzone series with the entire Helghan race dead, which would have been a crappy ending. Likes -New controles -Smarter AI -Great pacing -New locations -voice acting and script Dislikes -Cliffhanger -Tutorial -Rico -Co-op |

I loved the game a lot.
Visual stuff: The first mission really felt like a nuked city, and we got to see that the Helgs do have museums. It was just nice being in the always grey Helghast capital while it was utterly destroyed. The jungle shows us how sh*tty the Helghan wildlife is, addong to what we had seen from KZ2. The jungle actually reminded me of a coral reef, with the grass and the shells on the rocks. I hate those scorpion things a lot. The ice mission were AWESOME. I had played the multiplayer beta and wanted to see a singleplayer mission with it. The scrap yard was nothing too new or too interesting. The spaceship part was really nice. I especially loved when there was no gravity, seeing all these Helghast bodies flying around. Story: They showed that Rico is not a brainless meatbag with an MG, but his plans do have some point, sometimes. Sev got mad and became more badass than what he was. They didn't show us what happenned between the first missions and the Jungle missions. They added more dangerous kinds of weapons. The ending was, err, not expected. But they also left a couple of questions that wil never be answered. Who was that guy? I mean, he could be Stahl, or Visari, or some other Helghast high ranking guy. What will he do with two soldiers? I man, the ISA took down a whole army, whatr will two troopers do? Also, the ISA, the "good guys", blew up a whole planet. This sure ain't good for their reputation. Other Stuff: The music, I still sing it. The intro vid was awesome, just like in KZ2 The Helghast council was hillarious. Orlock looks like Stalin without hair and a scar, one guys looks exactly like Hitler, but only fatter, one other guy has that funny huge mustach. Stalh's expressions are too energetic, and I like that too. The length left me unhappy. That's why I am going to get the platinum now. |
