Ok, I know there are other topics and strategies around the forum (and youtube) but I just CAN'T BEAT THAT A**HOLE!!! Omg, I've been for FOUR hours already and I can't get past the second checkpoint. I have tried everything!!!

The best I could do was get to the launcher 3 or 4 times, but I just get raped from that point. Launchers can't see me where I am (stais on the left) but Radec and his grenade just kill me everytime. When it doesn't, his minions just come up and rape me, as I have a sniper and can't turn around fast enough to react!

I'm going crazy and almost breaking my controller (not kidding). What the HELL can I do?????

It took me 6 hours to beat radec on elite lol. You will get it eventually.

Keep trying mate, you need to snipe out the launchers asap. Try to take out the people on the ground before they proceed upstairs to you. This part is one of the most challenging parts to a FPS going

I used one of the videos in the guide for the balcony fight and a helping hand from another one on youtube showing a nifty little glitch that will kill Radec in 2mins or less .

it took me over 6 hour to pass him... in that part you can get in the upper level in the left (facing the door that radec uses to enter the palace) go to the nearest corner to a bunch of furniture that keep you from the rest of the level... that corner is a good hide from the rockets... try to snipe the rockets (2 i think) from the right first and then go to where you pick up the sniper rifle and carefully snipe the other rockets... that worked for me... the final battle is harder unless you use the glitch above... if you want to beat him fairly... knife him a lot and shoot after... in the end... snipe him... (you will know when you get there)

yep ive heard this is the way to go

I managed to kill Radec on Easy and Normal with using this glitch but on Elite he was just too hard so I caved and used it.

I finally did it! Got my plat! Thanks for all the tips!

I did my way, and it was REALLY easy!! The only hard part was the beggining, until the balcony's doors open:

After it opens, I stay in the first floor and knife the 4 guys. When the door opens, I throw two grenades (only had two) and kill most of them, only one or two still stay alive. When the door opens again, I use the 2 eletric grenades (had 3) and kill most of them. While the door open again, I go upstairs, knife the flamethrower guys and camp in the left part of the 2nd floor (where Radec can't hit you with normal fire). I killed most with flamethrower and killed the left overs with my last eletric grenade.

As I went upstairs, I got fresh grenades, so I used them to kill the left side rocket launcher guys. Only one left, so I went dowstairs and sniped with a random dropped rifle, getting the 3rd checkpoint. After that was easy: I ran to the fallen ship, got the ISA rifle which are awesome, killed some rocket guys with my last grenade and slowly sniped the rest of the guys with the ISA rifle.

Radec was stupid. I just burned him and used the shotgun to kill him in like 10 seconds, GREAT feeling.

That's it, I'm done with Killzone 2 after 15 hours of singleplayer and 42 hours of multiplayer! I hope Killzone 3 isn't as hard as this one. I heard there are some nasty lucky trophies (like the triple kill one and the kill jetpack with exo or vice-versa ones).
