To be honest, it probably isn't the difficulty that is making your percent go slow. It is more than likely what you are doing. Completing locations is the fastest way to go. I got 75% after 51 hours (and I could of done it quicker) just by completing locations.

i played demo but couldnt make up my mind is it worth it to get this game. i mean i have games that take forever to plat (ex. way of the samurai 3, dragon age origins)

On topic, as Rockets mentioned, you will want to complete locations to 100%. First, try to finish the story mode ASAP if you haven't done so. Do some challenges in between trying to 100% locations so that you dont get too bored. Go for Military bases and harbors. Call in the tank (after max upgrading it) and it will make destroying stuffs a cake. Be aware that if you generate too much heat, then you will have 2-3 choppers trying to u-haul your ass downtown though.

Thanks, I finished story mode and got all the strongholds. Its just that I die often and have to travel again.

Yeah i know how you feel, i started the game on hardcore mode, just so i can do the game in one play through.

I have stuck with it, one thing i can suggest is too upgrade your weapons so killing the enemy is easier.

Im only on %45 but the idea i cam up with was, get my 100 locations, get the 50 challenges and all the items etc.
by then i should be on at least %60, then all i will do i get a chopper and just fly around blowing anything up i can see and not worry about getting the 100 percent on the base.

Your only at 29% probably because your on hardcore i got the 75% achievement on casual which took bout 65 hours. After that i just started a new game to get the hardcore trophy

Ye easiest way would be to fly around with chopper to big army bases and blow everything up
