About the Game:

Jurassic Park: The Game takes place within the first movie. You'll play as a father and daughter who are trying to survive the hurricane, the dinosaurs, and the bad guys. This series is made by the creators of the "Sam and Max" and "Back to the Future" games, Telltale Games. Telltale Games took a different approach to this title and have made the controls and gameplay similar to the PS3 exclusive title "Heavy Rain". This means that buttons will pop on the screen and you have to interact with the corresponding buttons, objects, and move around the environment investigating your surroundings.

 

I will say this though before moving on to the walkthrough guide. I highly recommend that you don't use a walkthrough to play through the game for the first time. It's much more fun to play through the game and figure things out on your own the first time around.

 

Step 1: Complete the Game

The first thing you should do is complete the game since you should already be familiar with the game's gameplay mechanics. Whether you use the walkthrough or not is entirely your decision. Simply playing through the game and completing it will give you all the following story related trophies:

If you do decide to follow my guide you'll save a lot of time and frustration. Unlike the first game, there are no missable trophies in this game. Everything that you happen to miss or fail at can be completed in Replay Scenario mode or you can press the :start: button and select "Load Game" to reload your last auto save file if you have made a mistake for a no slipup trophy. This will save you the trouble of replaying a scenario for the no slipup trophies. For more information, please refer to the walkthrough and trophy guide.

 

Step 2: Replay Scenario Clean Up

Thankfully, unlike past Telltale Game titles; this game has a chapter select feature called "Replay Scenario", which is accessed by simply pressing the :triangle: button at the menu screen (or you can bring up the menu screen in the middle of gameplay with the :start: button as well). From here you can clean up other trophies that you might have missed such as the following:

Get out of the tunnels.

 

Story related and cannot be missed. You'll unlock this trophy during Scenario #3 - The Final Intersection. This is the event where you must figure out which tunnel to take by instructing everyone to look down the corridors and describe what they see so Dr. Sorkin can figure out where they are on the schematic. If you wish you can simply refer to the walkthrough.

Reunite the group.

 

Story related and cannot be missed. You'll unlock this trophy during Scenario #6 - The Marine Facility. This is the event where you'll regroup with everyone again after being separated during the tunnel escape. If you wish you can simply refer to the walkthrough.

For this trophy, you must simply escape the Troodon den without making any mistakes or failing at all during scenario #2 - Home Invasion. Below are the pop up events to complete it without failing.

Replay Scenario: #9 - The Swim

 

For this trophy, you must simply survive the Mosasaur and trap him behind the gate without making any mistakes or failing at all during scenario #9 - The Swim. Below are the pop up events to complete it without failing.

 

(At the very start of the Scenario)

  • Press the :circle: and :square: buttons as they flash on your screen
  • Press the :circle: and :square: buttons as they flash on your screen again
  • Press and [hold] :l1: + :r1: to try to get out of rocks
  • Repeatedly tap :square: button to try to free Nima
  • Move the :rs: button into the center of the green circle to free Nima
  • Repeatedly tap :cross: button to swim away from the Mosasaur
  • Quickly press :rs: button up :rsup: to get inside the cage
  • Quickly press and [hold] :l1: button and then rotate :rs: from the left position towards the upper right position about half way.
  • Quickly press :rs: button left :rsleft:
  • Repeatedly tap :cross: button to break the line of the cage

Fight Yoder with no slipups.

 

Replay Scenario: #10 - Fight To The Death

 

For this trophy, you must simply fight Yoder without making any mistakes or failing at all during scenario #10 - Fight To The Death. It may seem simple at first, but the pop up events are extremely fast even if you know what button is coming. Some of the buttons you need to spam before they appear on screen, while some of the buttons you have to hit as they flash on the screen. For the button mashing at the very end with the :triangle: button; however, I suggest you lay down your controller and spam it with your index finger for a much better result as it's very difficult. If you fail you can simply press the :start: button and then select "Load Game" to load your last auto save. This will still unlock the slipup trophy for you since you can retry it until you do it perfectly. Below are the pop up events to complete it without failing.

 

(When Yoder appears during the scenario)

  • Press :r1: button to punch Yoder in the face
  • Dialogue: Any
    (This main start of fight and the buttons are damn fast, so quickly press the buttons as the appear on screen)
  • Quickly press :circle:, :square:, and :triangle:
  • Dialogue: Any
  • Carefully press :triangle:, :square:, and :triangle: as they flash on screen
  • Carefully and quickly press :square:, :circle:, :cross: as they flash on screen
  • Quickly press :r1: and :square: as they flash on screen
  • Quickly press :r1: and :cross: as they flash on screen
  • Quickly press :r1: as it flashes on screen
  • Quickly press and [hold] :l1: + :r1:, and :square: as they flash on screen
  • Repeatedly tap :square: button
    (I advise you to lay your controller down and quickly mash the :triangle: button with your index finger for better result)
  • Repeatedly tap :triangle: button before it even shows on the screen
  • Attempt to try and move the :rs: button into the center of the green screen. It's impossible since you been knocked the fuck out.

Use three flares while finding the tunnel exit.

 

Replay Scenario: #3 - The Final Intersection

 

This is the event where you must figure which tunnel to take by instructing everyone to look down the corridors and describe what they see so Dr. Sorkin can figure out where they are on the schematic. For this trophy, you must simply use three flares while finding the tunnel exit. Simply switch control to Nima, Gerry, and Yoder and press the :l1: button on each character. They will light a flare to provide light down the tunnels. After using the third and final flare, you'll unlock the trophy. Note that you might have to adjust the :ls: button to see the :l1: interact button on your character's shoulder. If you wish you can simply refer to the walkthrough.

Learn all there is to learn about Nima's past.

 

Replay Scenario: #5 - Bygones

 

For this trophy, you must simply learn everything about Nima's past. This can be confusing to others, but simply select the bottom left dialogues as they appear before she even finishes talking. The dialogues below will unlock the trophy. Just don't select the dialogue options: "(Listen.)" or "Enough talk." Below are the correct dialogues:

 

(At the very start of the Scenario)

  • Dialogue: Any

  • Dialogue: You used to live here?
  • Dialogue: Your name means?
  • Dialogue: InGen displaced you?
  • Dialogue: Spared no expense.

For this trophy, you must simply escape the T.rex at the docks without making any mistakes or failing at all during scenario #11 - Old Friends. Below are the pop up events to complete it without failing.

  • Make your own decision to either save Jess or the canister as they effect the ending

  • Press :rs: button down :rsdown: to dolphin dive away
  • Wait for Gerry to get pushed back until the cage crate opens up
  • Press :r1:, :l1:, :r1:, and :l1: to climb up the crates

  • Press :rs: button up :rsup: to jump

For this trophy, you'll have to choose to save Jess by pressing the :square: button. Once you do Nima will help Jess up the platform and the canister will get destroyed by T.rex. This is actually the good ending and the trophy will unlock immediately after choosing to save Jess. If you wish you can simply refer to the walkthrough.

For this trophy, you'll have to choose to save the canister by pressing the :circle: button. Once you do Nima will get eaten by the T.Rex and the canister will get destroyed. #11 – Old Friends

Warning! The following events relate to a slipup trophy. If you fail you can simply press the :start: button and then select "Load Game" to load last auto save. This will still unlock the slipup trophy for you since you can retry it until you do it perfectly. Repeatedly tap :cross: to run

Press :rs: button right :rsright:

The following event will determine which ending you'll receive. If you choose to save Jess when racing to the docks, you'll get the good ending. If you choose the canister over Jess while racing to the docks, you'll receive the bad ending. Each choices will unlock a corresponding trophy. So you'll have to replay this chapter over again to get the other trophy. So choose the ending you like to receive.

Make your own decision to either save Jess or the canister

Press :square: button to save Jess (Do-you-think-he-saurus Rex (B) unlocked!)

or

Press :circle: button to save the can (Barbasolved (B) unlocked!)

Repeatedly tap :square: button + rotate :rs: button from the right position towards the upper left position

(If you saved the canister; Press :triangle: button to climb up the platform as Jess.)

Repeatedly tap :circle: button to run

Press :rs: button down :rsdown: to dolphin dive away

Wait for Gerry to get pushed back until the cage crate opens up

Press :r1:, :l1:, :r1:, and :l1: to climb up the crates

Press :rs: button right :rsright:

Repeatedly tap :cross: button to run

Press :rs: button up :rsup: to jump

Repeatedly tap :triangle: button to climb up

Another great guide that definitely helped me through this last episode. Finally beat this stupid four-parter. :p

 

One thing that did throw me off, however: you say to mash the buttons for the Clever Girl trophy but I found that I would press them too early and lose the fight. Even if they come up too fast, you can still mess up by beating them to the punch (as it were). Instead of mashing them, I found that knowing the combos and watching the screen carefully were the key.

As with the first 3, thanks for a helpful guide, they all def. served their purpose and then some.

 

Comments to the author (relating to all 4 walkthrough's):

- A little more consistency, in some spots you said press this to make that happen while in others you just said press this. press this. press this. etc. If someone (as I was doing) isn't following every step of it, it makes it hard to find your spot when you do want to reference it.

- Less detail can be better! In all the spots where you said move right stick from left half way to top right and what not, not necessary at all. The game didn't care where you moved it as long as it was appropriately clockwise or counter-clockwise. Then either just a partial turn or full circles. Would have made it easier to read, and probably a lot simpler to write!!!

You should also note that if you choose to save the can on the last scenario & after Gerry hits the Rex in the leg, before he starts running, you need to hit :triangle: when it flashes to have Jess climb up onto the beam so she doesn't fall.

I found it considerably easier to do the trophies where you have to beat a part flawlessly during my first run, because you can reload the last checkpoint in case you press the wrong button and only do a small part again, whereas if you use chapter select and you fail, you have to restart that chapter and do a much longer section.

 

I used chapter select for the 'flawless' trophies in episode 1 and 2, and completed the same kind of trophies during my first run in episode 3 and 4. The latter method turned out to be a lot easier because of the numerous checkpoints.

 

Maybe you want to add that to your guides:)

 

I understand that many people would rather play through the game one time without looking at the trophies, but it really makes things a lot easier if you're having trouble completing a section flawlessly, especially when you need to be really quick.
