I found it considerably easier to do the trophies where you have to beat a part flawlessly during my first run, because you can reload the last checkpoint in case you press the wrong button and only do a small part again, whereas if you use chapter select and you fail, you have to restart that chapter and do a much longer section.

I used chapter select for the 'flawless' trophies in episode 1 and 2, and completed the same kind of trophies during my first run in episode 3 and 4. The latter method turned out to be a lot easier because of the numerous checkpoints.

Maybe you want to add that to your guides

I understand that many people would rather play through the game one time without looking at the trophies, but it really makes things a lot easier if you're having trouble completing a section flawlessly, especially when you need to be really quick.

great guide, unfortunately i'm still stuck on the fight with yoder where i have to smash the triangle button to get up before yoder, but i can't tap it fast enough. i even used a turbo controller, but it isn't fast enough.

Just keep trying, you'll get it! I was stuck on that part for about an hour. I just know that the timing has to be precise, if you hit the button too much, you'll fail it. Just keep going!

Thanks for the time you put into the guide Blaze. Game was laggy at spots and had a tough time with the fight at the end. Overall it was ok....
