I really hope this is a simple thing, but OMG I can't figure it out.
Me and a friend are trying to play together, we both started a new game, went to the bridge level ( for trophy) and tried to meet up... never saw each other even though we went to the same spot, although we both see other companions on screen from time to time... What gives? If it matters, my friend is able to press start and level select, I can't do that at all.... O.o also what gives? Last edited by Toorima; 05-25-2012 at 12:06 AM. |

I belive the general idea is that it is completly random - you might end up playing with your friend or you might both be online and end up playing with 2 different people. Not sure it is designed to be able to know who you are playing with until the credits at the end.
Ironically after completing it I noted down the people I played with. A few seconds later I got a PSN message thanking me for playing with someone and his/her PSN Id was not even on the list of people I had played with so it seems even that list is unreliable/random.

From what I've heard, you can try to pair up by starting a game at the same time, and that's about all the guarantee you have. Otherwise, like already stated it is completely random on the pairings. My best advice is to have some set patterns for the "chirping" to try and identify each other. The other thing you can do is simply wait for them to show. But my friend and I tried to do this, and were unsuccessful. Still really enjoyed the game, just wish I could have played with them.
One of the hardest things about making the final passage is getting through to the end of the last board with the same person. I'd say I probably lost my partner during this part about 80% of the time. Felt bad that I'd lost them on the Journey |

Me and my sister tried for a few hours one night. It is very, very hard to get together. We never did either. She thinks not having the person on your PSN friends list might give you a better chance.
