XP Problem

Ok, so I'm grinding out my last few thousand xp for my final power but it seems to be taking forever, also I seem to be getting inappropriate amounts of xp.

Ok so I played a UGC that required me to kill 1000 enemies, now 1000 x 5xp for a takedown should equal 5000xp right? Wrong! I only walk away with just shy of 300, so what gives?

Stunts don't earn you exp in UGC missions. The only experience you get from UGC missions is the amount you get for completing it. So yeah, you'll only be averaging 100-300 exp per UGC mission.

Ah, that explains everything then, thanks. I'll probably just finish my UGC missions and then delete the patch to xp glitch. Just a question, to buy a power in edit mode do I need the xp to buy the power anyway but my xp just doesn't decrease or can I buy a 5k xp power with only 1 xp?

If you want to buy a 5k ability, you'll need to have 5k worth of EXP first. The reason people use this trick is so their EXP doesn't get used up, so they can purchase other abilities as well. Say they want to buy 2 abilities, one that's 5k and one thats 3k. They could buy both with the glitch, but they'll need 5k beforehand.
