I think the lightning at the very end revives Cole, I haven't done the evil ending yet so I don't know if that would be a better ending to go off of.

But who knows, maybe Cole learned the power to bring himself back to life, after merging with John for that short while, or once he gets super charged by the RFI.

Ok. So I was just thinking about this. If John White was the beast. And the beast was created due to the Ray Sphere explosion. Why in the world did Kessler travel to Cole's timeline and not only detonated the Ray Sphere again, but also sped up its production?? Isn't that, I don't know....frickin' DUMB?

Surely Kessler had confronted the Beast in his timeline and would have known who it was. Why in the world didn't Kessler then simply travel to Cole's timeline and did everything in his power to destroy, or if not destroy, then lock away the Ray Sphere somewhere so that it would never be completed and thus never create the Beast in the first place.

Everybody wins. Well, everybody except Kessler. But wasn't his intentions were to stop the same events from taking place in Cole's timeline as they had in his timeline in the first place?

Kessler couldnt beat the beast and probably didnt know who it was at all. Or if he did, he wanted cole able to stop him anyways. Both of their powers were inevitable. kesslers powers came to him naturally, right? So maybe the only way of having a chance at beating the best was to speed them both up with a catalyst and train cole to be ready to win.

i just did the good ending and it was very sad. i was sure that the john is the beast cuz
1) i have played the 1st multiple times and it was poseble
2) i get it day 2 so the first i was waching walkthrough and a guy in the comments was saying that john is the beast at without saying he was going to say something about spoilers

After the good ending...

im not sure Cole is dead.... we did see the boat get struck by lightning......


maybe being an electric conduit, he gets revived by that hit....

PS: dunno if anyone has mentioned this but im not gonna read more posts considering i only played tru the Good side and already read some info on the evil side xD


oh and sulhaq.... in inFamous 1, Kessler told Cole that he saw the beast and ran for it... Kessler never fought the Beast... and in inFamous2 Cole only found out John was the beast AFTER nuking it and after John reformed himself.... so i highly doubt that Kessler new the Ray Sphere created the Beast

Actually it's implied that Kessler knew about John's future. In one of the dead drops, john stocks about how Kessler tends to make accurate predications and how he (kessler) told John that he(John) had an important/great destiny in store and how from his (Kessler) voice that this wasn't a good thing.

there was that lightning bolt at the very end, before the fade out. who's to say that's not Cole coming back? I believe Cole is alive and kickin. awesome game regardless
