I agree with you, the game is no more science in the world, you can easily finish in 8 hours, first finish the season looking for the crystals in each level and buy what you can to improve the character's weapons, second going to the challenges. It denies that you have just enough time to complete each challenge but achievable.

Now I have my new platinum.

Then you have to go back and play levels over for crystals.

this is the most stupid post i have read in a long time. you buy games for your daughter based on PLATINUM votes here in this specific forum? stupid idea. there is no need for your daughter to play the challenges, enjoy the story. the game is easy, maybe you are just bad? very stupid post.

based on my skills of not having skills - i rate a 3 as well, but with a guide - it is a 1 : w/o guides most all of the games on hee gain 2 or 3 rating points lol

Ha ha ha ha ha this post makes me laugh you want to rate this at 5 or 6 alongside games like

God of War I,Uncharted I, Quantum of Solace, Resident Evil 5, Star Wars Force Unleashed, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood

Now I have platinumed all the games I have listed above and can assure you that Ice Age 3 is by far easier than all those games it took me 5 hours to Platinum it, I can actually not think of many games easier but the few i can are

Hannah Montana, Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs, Up, Hasbro Family Game Night, Cars: Race-o-Rama, Mini Ninjas, Megamind, Where the Wild Things Are, Shrek

But they are all for the younger generations too although I love these type of games there are 2 kids games which I rate as much harder than Ice Age 3 and they are

Monsters Vs Aliens & G-Force (Cause of the chips problem I had to play through this game 3 times)

don't get me wrong, egg roll course 03 is a royal PITA but NONE of the other challenges were that difficult. Currently that's my last trophy for the plat. The game at the MOST is a 2, I haven't voted yet since I don't have the plat.

Yea I know what you mean. I bought this game because they rated it low and EASY, and I have some other plats too, IE mafia 2, black ops, modern warfare 2, borderlands, cod world at war, infamous...

Heck I am 37 years old and had some trouble dieing over and over towards the end, and my wife and I were thinking "wow this is not for under 12 at all" - at least to plat it, maybe play it, but to plat no way., unless they into stress and tossing controllers... some areas in the game were a pain, but it was nice not to loose all your life's and have to restart the levels...I can see where a young kid would have to have help to get through some areas of this game.

Just to finish the game itself non-plat status it was about 9 hours for me - 1 run through getting all crystals first time with map, then comes the challenges, and the only area I am having problems with is the egg running. So far all are done but those last 3 egg running games and I have 3-4 hours in the challenges so far.

I would rate plat stats around 4. You want a 1 megamind, or 100% flower, those are 1's... you want a 10 god of war, gta IV cod classic, or ruse.

i beat the game once through - and i was like hmmmm wtf.... found out the fucker glitched somewhere on level ONE and i got 4 crystals total collected THATS IT - id rate it a 5 just cuz the time you may have to invest due to bugs freezing (no pun intended lol) and glitches. If it hadnt of glitched after a 5 hour session, I whouldnt have returned it to GS and i whoulda platinum it - shame on activision for not testing their games enough lol
