Is this game a bit risque?

I was planning on getting this game when it first came out, but the reviews drove me away. Today I saw it, brand new, in Gamestop for 15 bucks. Now, as much as I want this game, one thing is still deterring me from buying it. I looked through the other "should I buy this game" threads and didn't see an answer...

The early reviews and a few posts from Kotaku members said this game is a bit dirty. Normally I wouldn't care too much, but I need a game I can play around my room mate without looking like a creep. I'm already putting Catherine in my collection next week so... How bad is this nudity wise?

There really isn't any nudity. The closest it gets is maybe having Neptune all bandaged up at the very beginning. It's mostly the dialogue that's dirty(like having conversations about breasts and things like that), and even that is mild for people who normally play JRPG games. Some scenes get a little suggestive though, but it's still considered pretty mild.

Oh and there is no way that the price is $15, not even for a used copy since a new copy should still be the normal price since no price drop has occured.

It's kind of girly, but $15 is a steal if you've seen eBay's prices lately.

There's not really any male characters, but if you can rock a Mao avatar, you should appreciate the dialogue in this game.

It's funny how those few male characters in the game are just a bunch of extra characters that have their body and face appear as shadows(meaning not being able to see their face or body since they're just extras with some of them helping out the plot).

i really wanted this game for too long, but today i bought it... i dont know what to thinks beacuse i havent play it yet, im afraid that it will turn to be a total shit... i dont know what to do ;(

If you've bought it, then play it! No game wants to just be sat around collecting dust, having never been played. Well, maybe that's not strictly true, but I bet they wouldn't like it if they were sentient!

It's a fun, lighthearted game. There is a lot of dialog to go through, especially if you're going for the Plat. However, the dialog is fun and kind of childish at times. Although, they keep the anime/manga style of banter which involves insults based on breast size (too little or too big). It's not every dialog, so it doesn't get stale, and adds just the right amount of humor.

Yeah its pretty tame. The jokes are pretty pre-teen but still not a terrible game if you are in the mood for an RPG.
