Black-Ball:
This game type is common in the UK (United Kingdom). It is essentially the same as US 8-Ball only instead of Stripes and Solids the balls are all solid Red and Yellow. The rules are the same as US 8-Ball. Please see the description above again for reference if needed.

The ABOVE is wrong. Black Ball in the UK is different in three ways:

1) You do NOT need to nominate a pocket for the black ball, any pocket will do.
2) If you scratch the opponent can put the cue ball anywhere behind the line but not beyond it
3) You get two shots after your opponent fouls but they do not carry (ie you pot on your first shot and then miss then you do NOT get another shot whilst if you miss your first shot you get another)

Sweet guide, this has helped me get a couple trophies.

With the Speed Freak trophy, do you need chalks? I've tried this one atleast 50 times and it's extremely frustrating.. best time was 72 seconds

Great guide! I finally finished the career mode today. Played with no PSN chalk until the last events with no aiming line. Then caved and bought a pack of 99 eagle eyes for $0.99. It made the challenges real easy (as long as you pocketed when u break). How anyone could do the last few w/o chalk is beyond me, mad respect.
