How is splitscreen?

I have this game and was thi8nking about playing it with my brother - who is in town the next two weeks, we use to play a lot of RE 5 splitscreen, is this at all comparable to that experience? The game looks fun, but has been sitting on my shelf for awhile and was hoping to have some time now.

fucking horrible nothing like re 5. The wscreens dont even use up the screen its like cut off by a black bar siighhh

My brother came over for a weekend and we had a blast! Just yelling at eachother, upgrading stuff, making fun of the door opening cutscenes, etc.!

It's kinda fun playing splitscreen with another person because you have fun and don't really care about the game's outcome. It's more about good times with friends.
