Anyone else having a hard time completing any of the collectibles? I've run through the game 3 times now, even using a strategy guide, and I can't seem to find the last prisoner I need, the last dead stone, or the last 2 crystals. I think there's only 2 crystals left, as that would allow me to max out all my abilities, so there could be more. The strategy guide says there's 15 dragon tears, yet I could only find 13, and that's all you need for the trophy...yet these guides typically have pretty bad misprints.

I've backed up my save data and I'm now starting fresh for a fourth and final playthrough, and I've even gone as far as not downloading the patch this time to see if that'll help. Hopefully, my save won't be corrupted by anything, yet am I the only one experiencing difficulty when it comes to collectibles?

I was looking at the sister site's guide for this, and apparently the guide doesn't show everything, in one case the very first crystal in the game isn't in the guide, it's behind the door to your right, you have to shoot the sign above the door to open it, like one for the first two epic weapon cases and third prisoner I believe, some guide, glad I didn't buy it XD

Yeah, it's weird, the 'secrets' section of the guide refers to all the items, yet the maps don't always show everything, which is really frustrating. For example, in 3.3, there's 11 prisoners, yet the guide map only shows 10...

Why do they expect us to pay $20 for a guide that is wrong? What's the point of being the 'official' guide when you can't even put the guide together properly, and youtube videos will eventually fix your errors? It's why I don't buy the guides, and only 'borrow' them haha.

I've always ended up using the internet instead of a guide, after a few times guides were just trivial and never showed everything, it's like they sat down played through the game and if they missed something they wouldn't care or bother adding it. The only time I think a guide would be useful is like Elder Scrolls or Fallout with their massive world and countless quests, a small game like this, it's easier just to wait for someone to post a walk through online

I only need 2 dragon tears,4 dead stone and who knows how many crystals.Only need a few to max the last powers.oh well maybe I'll find em on my next playthrough.

Yeah, I only rented the title (goes back Wednesday), and since those 3 collectibles are the only thing I need to plat the game, I just want to get it done and over with.

Already on chapter 5, and I know for sure I'll have enough prisoners, since there's only 1 left, and he's in 5.3. Not sure about the crystals and dead stones. And yeah, my save was bugged, since I didn't rescue anyone new.

Okay, I'm cursed...finished both the prisoners and the dead stones, yet still missing at least 1 crystal, since now I have 131, as opposed to 130 from my last runs.

Uhg, I don't want to do another playthrough, yet my OCD is going to kick in...I just know it...lol

for prisoners i came across this problem, i guess i let one die during chapter 4 and when i replayed that section and saved them all i got hte trophy. weird i know. i also got the guide and it sucks a big donkey dick. im still missing 3 deathstones and who knows how many crystals. if anyone has an idea of what i need for plat please let me know

seriously I'm both pissed and lost now, I started old school on adventure+ and I noticed some extra crystals already given to me at the the start, like 30+, at first I thought nothing of it, but now I'm up to 162 crystals, no trophy, this and reving down 20 times is all I have left till plat, now I have to go back to every sub chapter and pray a single shard drops, I'm pretty sure that's all that's left, unless getting those extra crystals screwed me over...
