If I find this content posted anywhere but ps3trophies.org then action will be taken. If you see this content posted anywhere else then let myself or the staff here know. Thank you! Roadmap Overview
Introduction Hitman is back! This is the first Hitman game on the PS3 to feature trophies. The game sees you take on the role of Agent 47, an assassin who was created and trained to kill. He's gone rogue from the agency in order to protect a girl named Victoria. Agent 47 must betray the agency to save her from growing into an assassin like himself, but on his journey he will encounter others who are interested in the girl. The platinum is a fairly easy one, it's not one of those games where you have to 100% everything. There is only 47 trophies, 20 of those are obtained through the story and the rest should come from general gameplay. The 1 collectible trophy that requires you to obtain all the evidence across the game. There are 46 in total, but only 45 count towards the trophy. If you follow a guide you'll have no trouble. The other thing are challenges. These are additional tasks for you to complete in a mission, such as "Chameleon - Change into x disguises in the level". There's 278 in total and you only have to complete 100, so you should have no difficulty in getting those. **Trophy Glitches** There are two glitched trophies in the game, but it's random if they will glitch on you. The two trophies are Absolution and Information is Power. Many have reported that they completed the game all the way through on Hard but didn't unlock the absolution trophy at the end of the game. The same goes for Information is Power, people have picked up all the evidence on normal/hard and the trophy hasn't unlocked. There is no known way as of yet to prevent the glitches or how to fix them. Your best bet though if one of the trophies glitches on you is to delete the patch and go and try and earn the trophy again (don't re-download the patch, just play offline). I personally had no trophy glitches. Walkthrough Step 1: Complete the story on Hard, collect all the evidence. The first thing you want to do is start the story and select 'Hard' on the professional section of difficulties. Hard difficulty just adds more enemies, you take more damage, instinct runs out quicker and enemies see through disguises easier. It's really not that hard; be thankful there isn't a trophy for completing the game on purist. While doing this you also want to collect evidence which comes in dossier form and video tape form. Most missions only have a couple that are hidden, you could find them yourself if you explored long enough but your best is to just follow this guide. There's 45 of them in total, so not much compared to other games. You can simply run to the location of the evidence, pick it up then die. The evidence will save forever as soon as you pick it up. Doing this will also bring you 19 challenges closer toward the 100 challenge trophy. The final part of this step is to obtain all the misc trophies, which you'll more than likely get just by playing anyway as they are only for losing attention of enemies etc. Step 2: Contracts Mode Note: This part does not need an online pass, the developers decided last minute not to make a pass needed. There's one in your copy of the game but its free on the PS Store. Contracts mode is where you create contracts then save them for others to try and complete. You simply mark any target(s), kill them in a desired way then exit. Somebody then has to replicate what you just did by themselves for maximum money payout. All the trophies here can be done in 1 sitting in an hour, tops. You just have to complete both tutorials, play a friends contract, like a contract, create a contest, play in a contest, earn $1,000,000 in contracts mode and finally buy an upgrade. You can't keep repeating the same contract over and over though for the million dollars trophy. They have to be different. Step 3: Clean Up You should have all of the trophies by now, but in case your missing something you should go back and earn whatever it is your missing. If your missing a piece of evidence, just replay the mission until you get it then quit. Same goes for challenges. You might not have 100 challenges completed yet, if that's the case just go for the easy ones. You should now have your Platinum trophy - congratulations! Top of Your Game ![]() Collect all trophies Just like any other platinum, earn all 46 trophies to unlock. Congrats! Grand Master ![]() Complete 100 challenges CHALLENGES CAN ONLY BE COMPLETED ON NORMAL OR ABOVE Note: If you die you will not lose the challenge you unlocked, same goes for restarting checkpoints. You can quit and the challenge will still save. There is a total of 278 challenges in the game, 19 of those are just for collecting all the evidence in the game. Most of them are pretty easy and you'll get a few just by playing. The only difficult thing about them is the game doesn't actually tell you what the challenges are. You just get a cryptic clue and you have to work out what it means. You can check challenges by going to the statistics page on the main menu, or by pressing in game and scrolling over to the challenge section. I completed around 80 in my first playthrough and that was me not even trying to get them.Once you finish the game your best bet is to just replay missions without changing disguises (I'm sure you missed this challenge in every level). This will give you another 15 or towards the total. Same goes for challenges like changing into x disguises and the one for not getting spotted at all. All missions have these challenges. There are also challenges for assassinating targets in a specific way and the challenges for them are easily deciphered. Reach for the Stars ![]() Complete 50 challenges See Grand Master The Russian Hare ![]() 47 precision headshots using a sniper rifle If you die you will not lose out on headshot progress, same goes for restarting checkpoints. They also have to be precision headshots, not regular headshots. To perform a precision headshot you have to hold down about halfway, time will slow down. Line up a headshot then fully press down . The two best places to get his trophy are as follows:
A Taste for the Game ![]() Complete 10 challenges See Grand Master Heavy Burden ![]() Assassinate Diana Burnwood Story related and cannot be missed
Kingslayer ![]() Assassinate the King of Chinatown Story related and cannot be missed
Chamber of Secrets ![]() Locate room 899 Story related and cannot be missed

After the cutscene you want to get in the car and leave him, don't shoot him or kill him. Just get in the car. The trophy will unlock as your driving off. Faith Can Move Mountains ![]() Defeat Sanchez with your bare hands During the 13th mission you have to get the patriots outfit from the man who is training by the caravan. There are many ways to get it, but the easiest way is to just kill them all or kill a couple to get them spooked and hide. Once you see the patriot walk near by kill him and take the disguise. Nobody can see through the disguise because of the mask. Once in the arena just fight Sanchez. It's just a combination of pressing and mashing really, nothing too hard. When you snap his neck at the end the trophy will unlock. The Killing Fields ![]() Eliminate the Saints Story related and cannot be missed

Absolution ![]() Complete Hitman: Absolution™ on any professional difficulty GLITCHED: Many have reported this trophy didn't unlock for them, but it's rare to happen. There is currently no known way of preventing it. If this trophy glitches on you, delete the patch and play offline on a new save. Note: If you didn't do your first playthrough on this difficulty, you can get the trophy via new story or level select. If you choose new story you won't lose challenge progress. Also, Maka on x360a has made a full YouTube walkthrough for each level on hard, it can be found here: Hitman: Absolution Hard Walkthrough The minimum difficulty you can play on for this is Hard. Hard mode means enemies will see through your disguise much easier and there will be more enemies to avoid in the missions. I advise choosing this difficulty from the get go as it isn't very difficult. Here's some tips:

Jack of All Trades ![]() Collect all play styles Note: Any play style you earn in the first mission will glitch the trophy. If you did earn a play style in the first mission just re-earn it in a different mission and the trophy will unlock. Play styles can also only be obtained on normal or above. There is 20 play styles in the game that unlock after you complete a certain task within the game or do a certain action many times in a row. You can check your progress by looking at play styles in the statistics section of the main menu. Here's a list of all 20 and the best place to get them:
, then mash (Don't snap neck). There is plenty of chances to get this and I personally got this during the mission Attack of the Saints, cornfield. Subdue the guy kneeling by the car and the two in the cornfield to the right, hit the car first before you go in so the two split.
. It took me 5 kills in a row with the bottle to unlock the play style.
.
. Next, go onto the bridge and look at the two guys standing there. Wait for the far one to walk off then kill the one who stayed the same way you did the first guy. Now kill the one that walked off the same way. If you didn't get spotted at all, the play style challenge will unlock.
halfway then release it fully to shoot. The trophy will unlock after the 5th headshot.
. Once you have a hold of them press to knock them out.

It's All in the Wrist ![]() Achieve a lethal throw kill You'll get shown how to do this in the very first mission, but the trophy won't unlock then. If you want the trophy as quick as you can, the earliest you can get it is during mission 2 "The King of Chinatown". From the start go to the right side of the map and look at the crates. Stuck in one of the crates is an axe, pick it up. Now in the alleyway right next to you is a police officer, get the axe out with and aim it as his head until it flashes red circles. Now all you have to do is throw it with . The trophy will unlock shortly afterwards. Information is Power ![]() Collect all evidence WARNING! You must be playing on normal or above! The trophy won't unlock otherwise. GLITCHED: Many have reported this trophy didn't unlock for them, but it's rare to happen. There is currently no known way of preventing it. If this trophy glitches on you, delete the patch and play offline on a new save. There's actually 46 pieces of evidence in the game, but the one in the tailor shop doesn't count towards the trophy. Evidence comes in the form of dossiers and video tapes and there's a couple in each mission. Once you've picked one up that's it, it's saved forever and you don't have to pick it up again if you quit, restart or die. The best way is to go Rambo to get them, then once you've gotten it just restart the checkpoint and play stealthy, whatever you prefer. See the video below for the locations of them all, or alternatively see my external thread: Hitman: Absolution - All Evidence Locations Guide Thumbs Up ![]() Like a contract See the Contracts: Trophy Boosting Thread (Read First Post) if you need help with getting the contract mode trophies. A very easy trophy, all you have to do is like a contract. Once you finish a contract you'll be on a screen that says compete etc. Back out of this with and you'll see the rate option. Just press the + icon and you'll like it. Trophy will unlock shortly afterwards. Damage Control ![]() Contain a situation gone bad Note: Enemies have to be red on the minimap, then they go back to normal colour. A situation gone bad can mean many things, but the main one is when enemies are hunting for you and your disguise is blown or the enemies are trying to kill you. In this situation you just want to hide away from the enemies until everything turns normal again, you'll most likely get this from general gameplay as you'll make mistakes like this a lot of the time. If you want the trophy off the bat then during Mission 2 "The King of Chinatown", you'll want to shoot the red explosive barrels in plain sight by the sports car. Now just walk off in the opposite direction and avoid contact with the police, hide behind objects etc. Set for Life ![]() Earn 1 million contract dollars See the Contracts: Trophy Boosting Thread (Read First Post) if you need to find people to help in contracts mode. Note: You cannot keep replaying the same contract for this, or your own contracts. This may sound bad at first but it's actually really easy. All you have to do is complete contacts until you reach a million earnings from contracts. Some can give you as much as quarter of a million, while most give you 100K. The easiest way to get this trophy is just keep playing the very short easy contracts. You can have a friend make loads of easy ones and you just play them until you earn a million. The trophy will pop on the main menu after earning a million through contracts. Self-improvement ![]() Buy an upgrade See the Contracts: Trophy Boosting Thread (Read First Post) if you need help with getting the contract mode trophies. Upgrades can be bought with money you have earned from contracts. The upgrade shop is a tad expensive and it's about a million dollars for a gun. what you want to do is go to your silverballers and equip any upgrade (Extra Clip I costs 90K). As soon as you buy it the trophy will unlock. Last edited by Wozamil; 01-02-2013 at 03:16 PM. Reason: Editorial Sweep |

First Contract ![]() Complete the Create Contract Tutorial See the Contracts: Trophy Boosting Thread (Read First Post) if you need help with getting the contract mode trophies. As soon as you start create contacts for the first time your given an option to complete the tutorial. Simply accept to play the tutorial then finish it. If you denied to play the tutorial, you can find it on the contracts menu under tutorials. The trophy will unlock as soon as you complete the tutorial. Blood Money ![]() Complete the Play Contract Tutorial See the Contracts: Trophy Boosting Thread (Read First Post) if you need help with getting the contract mode trophies. When you click quick play or try to start a contract for the first time your given an option to complete the tutorial. Simply accept to play the tutorial then finish it. If you denied to play the tutorial, you can find it on the contracts menu. The trophy will unlock as soon as you complete the tutorial. True Potential ![]() Unlock a technique You are guaranteed to get this just by playing the game, there is loads of techniques that can be unlocked. Techniques are unlocked for getting good scores. The trophy will more than likely unlock after completing the second mission "The King of Chinatown", if not, your guaranteed to get it in another mission, Partners in Crime ![]() Play a contract created by a friend See the Contracts: Trophy Boosting Thread (Read First Post) if you need help with getting the contract mode trophies. You can get this two ways. Either have a friend invite you to a contract competition, or from the contracts menu go to quick play then friends. Chances are you have somebody on your friends list with the game. Just load the contract up and on the loading screen the trophy will unlock. You can also boost this with yourself by having two PSN IDs. Competitive Spirit ![]() Create a contract competition See the Contracts: Trophy Boosting Thread (Read First Post) if you need help with getting the contract mode trophies. As soon as you finish creating/playing a contract you have a few options, simply click the "Compete" option and it brings up a new menu. Select any of your friends to send the competition too, even if they don't own the game. Once you've done that just OK everything and the trophy will unlock. Contender ![]() Participate in a contract competition See the Contracts: Trophy Boosting Thread (Read First Post) if you need help with getting the contract mode trophies. Strangely enough, you can compete in competitions you have created yourself. See Competitive Spirit before continuing. Once you've done that go to compete, received. Any contracts that you have sent a compete request to will be here. Just load one up and the trophy will unlock on the loading screen. One With the Shadows ![]() Escape attention from enemies Another easy trophy, which you should and will most likely get from general gameplay. When an enemy goes orange on the mini-map, that means you have their attention. All you need to do is lose them. This can be done in a few ways, but the best way is on the mission "The King of Chinatown" go down to where the alleyway to the sports car begins then up the small set of stairs. There is a cop who will always be standing there with the crowd and he has his back to you, subdue him with (Sandman Unlocked). You should now see a picture of 47 in his suit in the bottom left corner. Now quickly go down the sports car alley and shoot the cop there and change into his uniform. Just casually walk off from the scene then until you reach the other side of the map. You can interact with a menu if you want to hide, but it's not required. The trophy will unlock when everything returns to normal.Last edited by Wozamil; 01-02-2013 at 03:18 PM. Reason: Editorial Sweep |

Silent Assassin ![]() Achieve the rating: Silent Assassin Note: You'll unlock this automatically if you fight Sanchez during the mission "Fight Night", but if you want the trophy as soon as you can: This can first be achieved in level 2, The King of Chinatown. What you want to do is go to the top right part of the market (near the axe) and get the fish poison. You can steal it from the counter when the female chef isn't looking. Be quick about it though and leave as soon as you've taken it. You then want to go near where the exit is. You should see a cop and a chef in a small cooking area. What you want to do is poison his food. Nobody will see you doing it so don't worry. Once that's done just wait by the exit until the king dies from the poison. There should be an agency logo as your score and that means you got silent assassin The trophy will unlock on the score screen after the cut-scene with Birdie. Thanks to Rawra for suggesting this method. Inconspicuous ![]() Remain undetected in a whole checkpoint Note: This cannot be achieved on the very first tutorial level. You'll more than likely just get this by playing the game, as the main objective is to be stealthy. You have to complete a checkpoint without being spotted, you'll know if you get spotted as it will say "Spotted -1200". To avoid getting spotted, use silenced ways of killing enemies and don't draw attention to yourself. You can also throw objects to get enemies to move from their post, this makes the trophy very easy as you can distract enemies and then sneak past them, thanks to Rawra for suggesting that tip. Whoops ![]() Achieve your first accident kill This can first be achieved in mission 2, The King of Chinatown. What you want to do is go to the top left of the map where the exit point is. There will be two police officers standing here. What you want to do is pick up the brick that is in the fenced area to the right of the police officers and throw it towards the the boxes (Just under the winch full of heavy things). As soon as the police officer walks under it, aim at the cable part of the suspended weight and shoot it. If done right the it will collapse and kill the officer. One of the Guys ![]() Blend in successfully You will more than likely get this just by playing, but if you want the trophy as soon as you can then the earliest you can do it is level 2, The King of Chinatown. What you want to do is just interact with one of the objects that say "Hide " on them while an enemy is nearby. What I did was just walk to where the king is and interacted with the menu on the stand that is right by the pagoda. Just stay here until the trophy unlocks. Rocksteady ![]() Execute a point shooting with 3 kills You will definitely get this just by playing, but if you want the trophy as soon as you can then the earliest you can do it is level 2, The King of Chinatown. As soon as you go out the door into Chinatown press and hold to use your instinct, then press to activate point shooting. Just press on 3 of the civilians heads, then execute with . If all 3 die from the point shooting the trophy will unlock Under Wraps ![]() Hide a body You will definitely get this just by playing, but if you want the trophy as soon as you can then the earliest you can do it is mission 2, The King of Chinatown. Walk towards the sports car that is parked down the alley to the left of the map. There is a lone police officer here, simply walk up to him and punch him to knock him down. Press on him to drag him to the dumpster right next to you, press to put him in there. Sandman ![]() Subdue a person You will definitely get this just by playing, but if you want the trophy as soon as you can then the earliest you can do it is level 2, The King of Chinatown. To subdue a person you just have to go up behind them while unarmed and it will say "Subdue ". Simply press to pull them to the floor. Now all you need to do is keep tapping until 47 lets go, don't snap their neck. See One of The Shadows for a video.

Guide is complete, you can post now. I just need to add videos and a link to an external collectibles guide I'm doing. More info will be added to the play styles once I find out exactly what is required. Feedback appreciated ![]() EDIT: What should I do with the story trophies? The trophies themselves are spoilers so I wasn't sure what to do..

If they're major spoilers, then put everything except the image/title/trophy value in spoilers. That way people can see what the trophy is without spoiling it for themselves.
