ok, in many of the side missions you don't have all your units availible.
how do you pick which units you have to command or does the computer just pick them for you? i haven't been able to figure out if there is a way to switch them |

Ok... I finished this game long time ago and I can hardly remember anything. You can choose what units you want (can't remove the... leader or captain or what ever he was), right before the battle begins you can remove your units by prssing
I think. Anyway you can choose just before the battle begins try to figure it out in that part.

You cant remove your general, all other spots (assuming you can fill them) will be filled with your highest lvl units first. If you don't want to use them take them off the battle field by triangle, then you should be able to pick other units move with the d-pad then once highlighted press triangle again and that should bring the unit in to play
