I'm at the point where the objective sez. (Show him how lonely he is! Let him see the big picture.) What do i do?

Thats Lord Irish isn't it? Get close to him and press R1 to zoom out near him. When you let go he will freak out and die. (remember this for later, other monsters will require the same thing)

I thought the same thing. Its so obvious once you get it, but when in a game have you ever damaged something by zooming out? Its not in your natural train of thought... I didn't even "figure" it out. I was just pressing random buttons by the time I got it.
