Roadmap

Introduction:
It's time for another fun collection of some of Hasbro's classic board (and card) games in Family Game Night 3. Play with family and friends (or complete strangers across the globe) in such classics games as Clue, Mouse Trap, The Game Of Life, Twister, & Yahtzee Hands Down. All of the games are recreated into colorful worlds and include remixed versions of each title that adds a new spin to their classic gameplay. While the trophies for this title are easy for the most part, there are a few that will give you a challenge. More than anything, the trophies will be more time consuming than anything as each title requires you to win 10 classic games of each, which will take a good amount of time. While not as easy a platinum as the first game, it's still nothing too difficult, though.

Walkthrough

(Please note that you can do these in any order that you wish as they are game specific!)

Twister Trophies
Step 1: Play 10 Single Player Original Twister Games
Play 10 quick games of original Twister with only one player. While playing through these 10, make sure you try to get a perfect score and a perfect freestyle at some point (for help with these, see the trophy guide) as achieving both of those things will get you Pro Skills, Mad Skills, The Beautiful Dance, & I Make This Look Good. After your 10th game, you will also get In The Groove & On Fire.

Step 2: Play A Single Player Remix Twister Game
Play a single player full game of remix Twister. Aim to get everything correct so you can level up quickly to get to the 6 button combo part of the challenge and then nail one of them correctly. Once you finish that game with getting a 6 button combo correctly during it, you will get Mix Master & Bring It On.

Step 3: Clean-Up
Go back and clean up any of the trophies you are missing in the game at this point to clear all of them for this title.

Clue Trophies
Step 1: Win A Game Of Remix Mode


Play a 4-player quick game in remix mode and have your player (host) win. While playing this game, you want to aim for the 2 remix mode misc trophies:

• Have one of the players roll all 5 types of events on the event dice (Well Rounded Detective)
• Have one of the players lock another in a room with the keys to the mansion event (Master Of The Mansion)

After you complete the game with your player winning, you will get Law Bringer.

Step 2: Win 10 Game Of Original Mode
Play 4-player quick games in original mode and have your player (host) get 10 wins. When you start each player's turn, look at their clue sheet and write down what they have crossed off on them. By the time you go through all 4 players' turns, you should either have the answer to the mystery or it will be down to 1-2 options. Have your player go to the pool room and answer the mystery.

During this run, in one of the rounds you will want to have one of the players enter 2 rooms with the game characters (not players) in them and get "clues" from them as it will get you People Person. Also, have one of the players land on the "?" squares and get a perfect score on a mini-game when it pops up (which will get you An Eye For Detail).

When you win the 10 games, you will get Elementary & Scotland Yard's Finest.

Step 3: Clean-Up
Go back and clean up any of the trophies you are missing in the game at this point to clear all of them for this title.

Mouse Trap Trophies
Step 1: Win A Game Of Remix Mode


Start a 4-player game of remix mode and have your player win it. While playing the game, you will want to aim for the following things as well:

• Have one of the players steal the spanner from another one (Cheesed To Meet You)
• Have one of the players build all 5 types of trap in one game (Da Mouse-Vinci)
• Have your player win without losing 3 or more pieces of cheese (Cheese And Biscuits)

Once you win the game, you will get Con-Trap-Tion Master.

Step 2: Win 10 Games Of Original Mode
Play 2-player quick games of original mode and get your player (host) 10 wins. During this run, try to win at least one of the games by using cheese to trap your opponent (Pied Piper). Also make sure that you have your player keep putting down as many of the trap pieces as possible so they get 50 by the end of the run (which will get you Chief Engineer). When you win your 10 games, you will get Cheesy & Acheesement.

Step 3: Clean-Up
Go back and clean up any of the trophies you are missing in the game at this point to clear all of them for this title.

Yahtzee Hands Down Trophies
Step 1: Play A Game Of Remix
Start a 4-player game in remix mode and have your player win it. While playing, you will also want to aim to have another player get the required cards for the current combo card, then have your player go "Hands Down" instead of them to get it (as this will get you Too Fast For You). Once you win the game, you will get Think Fast.

Step 2: Win 10 Games In Original Mode
You can either do this versus the computer or by easily boosting online with 4 people. If you do it offline, it's easiest to select quick games and try to get the highest possible combo card right off the bat and then work your way backwards point wise getting as many as you can so you have the best chance of having the high score at the end. If you do it online, then just have the other players go "Hands Down" against you with weaker hands so you always win. If you are looking for someone to boost with, you can use the Trophy Boosting Thread to find them. Also while playing these games, you will want to try to get as many of the misc trophies as well. Once you get your 10 wins, you will get Yahtzee! & Card Shark.

Step 3: Clean-Up
Go back and clean up any of the trophies you are missing in the game at this point to clear all of them for this title.

The Game Of Life Trophies
Step 1: Play a 4-Player Original Game


Start a 4-player game and try to aim for all of the "non-win" related trophies. During this play you will want to make sure that you do the following:

• Have one of the players be a doctor and make sure they buy the mansion (Top Of The World)
• Have one player become a police officer and have them pull someone over for speeding (spinning a 10) (On Patrol)
• Have someone sue another player, then have their selected person beat them in the case (Don't Blame Me!)
• Have one of the players win $500,000 in "Spin It To Win It" (In It To Win It)
• Have someone win with a worth of over $2,000,000 at the end of the game (Gold Plated)

Step 2: Get 10 Original Wins
Play 2-player quick games of original mode and get your player (host) 10 wins. This will give you Living The Life & Lifetime Achievement. For a quicker method of getting the wins, check the trophy description for "Lifetime Achievement" for tips.

Step 3: Win A Remix Game
Play a 2-player quick game in remix mode and have your player win. Have your player select the career path and the other player take the college career path for a easier chance at winning. After you win the game, you will get Variety Is The Spice Of Life.

Step 4: Clean-Up
Go back and clean up any of the trophies you are missing in the game at this point to clear all of them for this title.

After completing all the above mentioned items, you should have also met the requirements for the collectibles/unlockables trophies and will receive Potato Party, Oh So Shiny!, It's A Beautiful World!, & Plaza Party. You should also have the platinum as well. If for some reason you do not have the plat at this point, go back and clean-up whatever trophies you are missing to complete the game!

The Game Of Life Trophies

Living the life
Win 1 game of original THE GAME OF LIFE.

See "Lifetime Achievement"


Lifetime achievement
Win 10 games of original THE GAME OF LIFE.


Start a 2-player quick game (game ends in 5-turns) of original The Game of Life play until the end and try to make your player (the host) win! To give yourself a better chance at winning, try the following:

• Player 1 (Host/You)
  • Select the "Career" route and take the highest paying job you can
  • Keep trying to roll high numbers to get to the bonus spaces faster
  • Try to get 20+ points on your wedding dance
  • Buy a house that gives you $20,000 more in resale value
  • Retire to Millionaires Estate and pick the $50,000 life card
• Player 2
  • Take the "College Career" path and try to keep them from getting a job as long as possible by spinning low numbers
  • Have them select the lowest paying job you can
  • Don't do anything for their wedding dance
  • Have them buy the mobile home
  • After their 5 turns, have them retire to Countryside

Rinse & repeat 10 times. After the 10th win of your player, the trophy will pop!


Variety is the spice of life
Win 1 game of remix THE GAME OF LIFE.

Start a 2-player quick game (game ends in 5-turns) of remix The Game of Life play until the end and someone wins! After the game is over, the trophy will pop!


Gold plated
Win a Game of THE GAME OF LIFE with over $2,000,000 of wealth.


You must play an original mode game in order to achieve this trophy as the remix version doesn't deal with money. You need to retire at the end of the game and be worth more than $2,000,000 and win. Here are a few ways to help yourself get to that amount:

• Take the College Career path as the jobs from that route pay alot more than the other one. Aim to become a Doctor (or whatever the highest paying one you are offered is) as it will pay you the most. When offered a chance to go back to school, do so and take the $20,000 raise.
• Try to land on the "Sue" squares as you can steal $100,000 a time off your opponent with them. Also try to land on all the "Spin To Win" squares you can and gamble $50,000 on a number every time you do (you win $500,000 if you hit). Take the "risky route" near the end of the game as there are bunch of these squares along the way.

Once you win a game with over $2,000,000, the trophy will pop!


In it to win it
Win $500,000 on Spin to Win in THE GAME OF LIFE.

Start a 2 to 4 player original game. There are spaces scattered around the board with a picture of the number wheel with money flying around it. When you land on one of these spots you are given a chance to risk some money by betting on a number and if it comes up, you win 10x that amount. You will need to beat $50,000 in order to win the required $500,000. Certain Life cards you pick up along the way will give you a chance to pick multiple numbers, which helps out alot. Once you win $500,000 from one of the spins, the trophy will pop right after!


Don't blame me!
Beat another player who is nominated to be sued in a lawsuit in THE GAME OF LIFE.

Start a 3 or 4 player game and keep playing until someone lands on a "Sue" space. Select one of the other players to be the person getting sued and then another person to go against him. When the mini-game starts for the person being sued, don't do anything until the time runs out. When the mini-game starts for the person going against him, make sure you fill the meter at least a little bit so they beat them. After they do, the trophy will pop!


Top of the world
Be a Doctor and own the Mansion House in THE GAME OF LIFE.

When you start a game, make sure that you take the College Career path and end up being a Doctor before moving on (You can try to become one later on if you miss by taking the go back to school path). Keep playing and eventually you'll get the option to buy a second house. Finish the mini-game there so that the Mansion is an option for you to buy and then buy it. The trophy will pop right after!


On patrol
Be a Police Officer and bust another player for speeding in THE GAME OF LIFE.

Start a 4-player game in original mode and have your player choose the "Career" path and become a police officer (if you don't get the choice of a police officer in selection, then restart the game and try again). After you become a police officer, just keep playing the game as normal and try to get one of the other players to spin a 10. Once they do, you will "bust them for speeding" and the trophy will pop!

Twister Trophies

In the Groove
Win 1 game of original TWISTER.

See "On Fire"


On Fire
Win 10 games of original TWISTER.

Start a quick single player game of original TWISTER and just play through it to the end (you actually don't even have to do anything during the game). Rinse & Repeat 10 times and the trophy will pop after the final win!


Mix Master
Win 1 game of remix TWISTER.

Just start a quick single player game of remix TWISTER and play it through to the end. After the end of the song, the trophy will pop!


Pro Skills
Score 80% in a game of original TWISTER.

See "The Beautiful Dance"


Mad Skills
Score over 90% in a game of original TWISTER.

The Beautiful Dance
Score Perfect in any game of original TWISTER.

Start a quick single player game of original TWISTER and make sure that you hit every button though out the entire round as you can not miss any (including freestyle). You must also hit the buttons in the when they are in the middle of the "hit area" for maximum points. Also, you must use all 4 buttons during your "freestyle" for additional points.

For an easier time, when selecting the music, pick "Pop" then "Dreamer" (Perfect Score of 45,000 points). The button combos you will need to do are:

Bring it on
Successfully complete a 6 bear bar in remix TWISTER.

Start a quick single player game of remix TWISTER. Keep playing and getting all the button's right so you level up quickly. Once you get to where there are 6 button presses in a "round", get one of those sequences correct. After you do, the trophy will pop!


I make this look good
Get a perfect beat timing when free styling in original TWISTER.

Play a quick game of original TWISTER and when you get to the free styling sections, just hit the same button repeatedly throughout the entire run so you hit every one. There are 2 free style sections in each song type and you only have to perfect on one of them!

Clue Trophies

Elementary
Win 1 game of original CLUE/CLUEDO.

Win 10 games of original CLUE/CLUEDO.

Play a 4-player quick game of original Clue. After the game starts, look at everyone's hint list (press ) and write down who has what checked off. It should give you everything you need to solve the crime or at least narrow it down to 1-2 things total. Have your player (the host) enter the Pool room (middle of board) and solve the crime. Rinse & repeat 10 times. After the 10th win, the trophy will pop!


Law bringer
Win 1 game of remix CLUE/CLUEDO.

Play a 4-player quick game of remix Clue. After the game starts, look at everyone's hint list (press ) and write down who has what checked off. It should give you everything you need to solve the crime or at least narrow it down to 1-2 things total. Have one of the characters enter the Pool room (middle of board) and solve the crime. After someone wins the game, the trophy will pop!


Clued up
Win a game of CLUE/CLUEDO with only 2 items identified on your clue sheet.

Play a 4-player quick game of original Clue. After the game starts, look at everyone's hint list (press ) and write down who has what checked off. It should give you everything you need to solve the crime or at least narrow it down to 1-2 things total. Have one of the characters enter the Pool room (middle of board) and solve the crime. If you are right, the trophy should pop right after!


An Eye for Detail
Get a maximum score on any CLUE/CLUEDO minigame.

Minigames are randomly played when you land on a "?" square on the game board. Just get the maximum score (everything right for that particular game) on any of them and the trophy will pop afterwards!


Well rounded detective
Roll all 5 types of event on the Event Dice in CLUE/CLUEDO remix.

This must be done all on a single player (not across all of them). In Clue remix, you roll the event die before you roll normally. Easiest way is have a 2-player game and just keep moving around the board without really doing anything until you have rolled all 5 types. After you roll the 5th and final type, the trophy will pop!


People person
Gain 2 extra clues from CLUE/CLUEDO characters in one game of original CLUE/CLUEDO.

During a game of original clue, make sure you enter 2 different rooms with non-playing characters so that you get to "interview" them for clues. Once you interview your second character in one game, the trophy will pop!


Master of the Mansion
Lock another player in any room with the Keys to the Mansion in remix CLUE/CLUEDO.

Easiest done in a 4-player game. Start the game and try to keep at least one player in some room at all times (keep a note of what room people are in). Keep playing until you roll a "key" on the Event Dice, giving you the ability to lock a room for 2 rounds. Pick a room that another player is inside of and the trophy will pop right after that!

Mouse Trap Trophies

Cheesy
Win 1 game of original MOUSE TRAP.

See "Acheesement"


Acheesement
Win 10 games of original MOUSE TRAP.

Play a 2-player quick game of original Mouse Trap and try to get your player (the host) to be the winner at the end of the game. Rinse & repeat 10 times. After your 10th win, the trophy will pop!


Con-trap-tion Master
Win a game of remix MOUSE TRAP.

Play a 2-player quick game of remix Mouse Trap and try to get player 1 to be the winner at the end of the game. To make it a little easier, make sure player 2 gets caught in every trap so they lose cheese. After you win, the trophy will pop!


Cheese and biscuits
Win a game of remix MOUSE TRAP without losing 3 wedges of cheese.

Play a 2-player quick game of remix Mouse Trap. Try to get player 1 to avoid all traps by winning the mini-games (or at most only get caught in 2) and be the winner at the end of the game. After you do those 2 things, the trophy will pop!


Pied piper
Successfully trap another player using cheese in MOUSE TRAP.

Start a 4-player original game (can be done on 2-3 player, but easiest on 4 player) and play til you get at least 2 of the players down by the cheese wheel (with the trap finished as well). Make sure that the players have cheese in their possesion (from landing on build a trap spots or cheese spots) and then try to land on the trap wheel spot while there is no one on the cheese wheel. If you have cheese, it will ask you to select a person to try to move on to the cheese wheel by rolling the die. If the number you roll during that attempt moves them onto the cheese wheel, you will activate the trap and trap them. The trophy will pop right after you have done that!

Chief Engineer
Place 50 trap parts (cumulative score across all games played) in MOUSE TRAP.

As it says, this can (and has to be) done through multiple playthroughs. To place a trap part, you must first land on a "2 3 4" space on the board, then complete the TrapMania mini-game to determine how many parts you get to place. Just keep playing and trying to add as many parts as you can with Player 1 each game. Once you finally place your 50th trap part, the trophy will pop!


Cheesed to meet you
Steal the spanner off of another player in a game of remix MOUSE TRAP.

Start a 4-player game and get someone to land on a spot with the spanner (the wrench). After one of the players has it, try to get another player onto one of the other spanner spots before the other player uses it. Once you do, complete the mini-game and if you win it, you will steal the spanner from him and the trophy will pop!


Da Mouse-Vinci
Build one type of each of the 5 trap types in a single game of remix MOUSE TRAP.

Start a 2-player game of remix Mouse Trap. You must build one of each of the 5 different trap types with player 1 before the game ends. This can be frustrating as the game ends as soon as someone completes their cheese wheel, which can be done very quickly if they land on the right spots. Make sure to have your players get caught in every trap along the way so they lose cheese and extended your time frame for getting this one. Once you've built all 5 of the different trap types with player 1, the trophy will pop!

Start a 4-player remix quick game and don't do anything after the game starts. Once the time runs out, you will win the game the trophy will pop!


Combo Knight
Win 2 Combo Cards in a single game of original YAHTZEE HANDS DOWN.

Win 4 Combo Cards in any game of YAHTZEE HANDS DOWN.

Combo King
Win 6 Combo Cards in any game of YAHTZEE HANDS DOWN.

You can do this in by youself (Either play an original FULL original game and try to win every all 6 of the cards or play a 4-player remix and try to get 6 cards before the time runs out), but it's alot easier by boosting it with 3 other people online. If you're doing it online, play a game in original mode and just have someone else go "Hands Down" with hands that are lower than yours so you win them all. You can find boosting partners in the Trophy Boosting Thread. Once you obtain 6 cards in one game, the trophy will pop!

There's an "easy" way to get the "Combo King" trophy by yourself. Unfortunately, it's not very practical, since it requires the use of four controllers.

Here's how: Just set up a four player game with four controllers and have each of the players skip their turns only focusing on getting the required combo for player one (or any other fixed player of your choice). The reason you need four controller is that it you can immediately trade out one card and skip to the next person. If you play four players with one controller, you have to wait about 10 seconds in between turns which totally eats up the clock.

Two things I would add:

• If you get a Yahtzee early on, go ahead and quit the game and retry it... Yahtzees take up a huge chunk of time off the clock. If you can get a few "Three Of A Kinds" thrown in there early and get them done in a minute or so, it shouldn't be that much trouble to get 6 combos.
• You can pause the screen and take a look at "the situation" -- see what combo you have to get, look at your cards and then look at everyone else's cards too. If you need a specific card from another player's deck, you should be able to spot it more easily this way.

Raising the bar
Beat another player's 'Hands Down!' combo with a higher combo in original YAHTZEE HANDS DOWN.

You must go "Hands Down" against another player with the same combo that you are trying for and beat theirs with a higher one (ex: 4-of-a-kind, you have 6's, they have 5's). The easiest time to do this is when you are down to 1-2 combo cards left as you mostlikely be going after the same one as someone else, so make sure yours is as high as possible. Once you do, the trophy will pop!


Too fast for you
Beat another player to a 'Hands Down!' combo when they also have the combo in their hand in remix YAHTZEE HANDS DOWN.

Start a 4-player game and get it to where player 1 and another player have the required combo, then have player 1 go "Hands Down" before the other person. The trophy will pop after doing it correctly!

Misc Trophies

Potato Party
Unlock all MR. & MRS. POTATO HEAD costumes.

You need to play 5 games of each title to unlock all the costumes for Mr. & Mrs. Potato Head. Here is a list of the items you need to unlock from each game:

In order ot unlock all the Building Parts, you need to play 6 games of each title. Here are a list of the items you need to unlock from each game:

For right now, that's what I'm guessing it as because the ones where you have to get 4 & 6 combo cards in Yahtzee Hands Down are going to be very difficult to get. I'm going to try to see if they can be boosted online later today or tomorrow which would cut the difficulty back to around a 2. Other than those ones, the rest really are a 1-2 difficulty tops.

It's not regular dice Yahtzee, it's the card game based off of it Sucks because I love the regular version (still play it all the time with the wife), but the card version of it is a pain in the butt. It's like Yahtzee mixed with Rummy, and not in a good way. The cards all have different dice on them that you have to match up into the normal ways (3-of-a-kind, small straight, etc), but you also have to match the COLORS up as well, which just adds another level of frustration to it, especially against the computer.
