So glad I was able to borrow this game free from the library, rather than paying to rent or buy it. The cover system is so messed up, there are times when in cover where it wont even let me cast spells, better off just running around and trying to dodge. If they ever decide they want more HP games, and they want them to be TPS style games, for the love of all things holy give it to naughty dog to make with the uncharted engine or something like that, at least we'll be able to aim properly.

Naughty Dog puts money and love into their games....

Anyways, I've played the game now. I purchased it new from UK and sold in my own country for pretty much the same price. The guy in the store started to laugh at me when I sold it to them. He couldn't believe I had purchased the game... (He was purchasing it from me though....) He said it was the worst game ever for PS3, perhaps the only worse game was part 2.

Yes, the game sucks. It's easy though, but you need to do 3 playthroughs, and one where you collect a lot of stuff! URGH!

It's like a third person shooter with infinite ammo and invisibility cheats. :\
Most of the time I were just running through the game hiding under my cape, and when I wasn't doing that I were spamming the spell Stupefy and watching unskippable video clips I had seen before (in the movie and from the last time I played through the game).

It wasn't that bad having to play through the game 3 times. The game only last for 5-6 hours. The problem is just that even with so low playtime, you had to run through the same levels many many times. They reused the locations MANY times. URGH. I think I had to run through the longest location 5 times in one playthrough + a couple of times in the challenges!

I can't believe how EA turned the entire HP series to such a big pile of feces.

If you want a good HP game, try Lego Harry Potter Year 1-4, that game is very good!

bought this for a laugh then regretted it! still its an easy plat i suppose, Dont know about worst game ever though anyone plaged genji 2? cos i think thats probably worse.

I wouldn't say that this is the worst game ever. This game is completely terrible. There are unresponsive controls, horrible graphics, and the gameplay sucks too. The movie is a trillion times better.

The second one is better at some things, but worse at other things.
I wouldn't recommend either. Not even for 5euro. :P
While the first one is extremely boring to play, then the second one takes longer time and feels even more like a chore. At least in the first you can hide under you cape most of the time you play the game (just run through it), then in HP7.2 you can't, at all.
