Do you need to do them all on 1 character? Or you can do it with multiple characters.

Example.

Character 1: S S A A A S S S
Character 2: A A S S S A A A

will it still count?

No idea, but it's nothing to really worry about in Rising mode after you finish upgrading a character you can blast through each stage and get an S-rank.

I can't confirm b/c I already got the trophy, but I'm 99.99% sure that your method won't work.

As CogniVision said, it's easy as hell to get S ranks once you get a character maxed out (which you'll need to do for the other trophy, anyway). Especially Bahamut since he has the "start every stage with a laser" upgrade.

If you're really having trouble just make it to stage 2 and farm up points... if you enjoy grinding, that is, or are having a hard time making it through the later stages.

Like cogni and buster said its easy in rising mode and if u max a character out u will b fine. I blew thru the stages with sayuri and got S ranks easily and i died a good amount as i am still learning the game. I thought it was gonna b a pain but u will b fine and its nothing hard.
