What combination of guns did you use the most?

I, myself, found that I used a double fire a ton. Really helped on the last boss.

My co-op partner, also a real life friend, would pick up the green (never really found out what the gun was) and the machine gun weapons.

This combination worked well together, he would be mostly for the normal guys running around the level, and I would be there as power for the boss. We beat the game in about an hour this way.

Blue and green. (Or green and blue)

Best combo in the game. Just hold the fire button down and the heat seeking stars will do the rest while you can concentrate on dodging enemy fire and other harmful situations. Game is simple with that combo.

but the best ones to have in co-op mode is to have green&blue, and green&green.

unstoppable right there.

Agreed on both, I use the same myself, both back then on the Megadrive and now on PSN!

I loved using the green and blue combo. It helped me out a lot when fighting the last bosses.

I always used the orange, orange. And also the green and blue is in 2nd place

. I felt indestructable w/ the orange orange.
