i give it a 5, but not because is hard or anything, just because there are trophies that are so anoying, like the menage a huit, or drumline, lucky for me, i played with a dude with 3 drums sets!! thanks to the ones who make this platinum trophy posible: FatalExpert, RozieRug, superlobo84 and Ryo-Shimei, they all contributed.

This trophy is really (really) hard to get when you buy it 6 month after is release. There's noone online...

And, if you live in Canada, it's nearly impossible to get a drum >_<

Do you think the rock band drum may work for guitar hero 5 ?

I think 5 mainly because of the ménage a huit and various boosting trophies.

I only have RB drums and am 1 trophy away from platinum.

I gave it a 6, if you're experienced with music games then it should be pretty much a doddle with some help from people online. However for beginners trophies like the 1001 note can be quite challenging even on easy level.

I managed to get the plat without even owning a drumset

thanks to my online buddies. Quite time consuming overall but not particularly difficult.

This is a 10 for me. I can't even finish most of the songs on expert. There not as hard as they were on Metallica, but still.

there aren't any difficulty related trophies in Guitar Hero 5, so I don't see how it matters you can't play everything on expert... even I am almost there and I only play medium guitar/drums

This game isn`t as hard as e.g. GHM but it needs some experience and patience.
Without trophy boosting thread Platinum would be impossible this time.
