GTAIV Servers

Just wondering if it is still possible to play the online modes for this game?

yes it is just make shure you do multiplayer first since it has been out for awhile and RDR is there main focus now and maby GTA V

You can still play online however most sessions you get into are almost empty.

I dont necessarily agree that the open sessions are empty, but in many cases you dont really want to be going into open sessions unless looking for the teamplayer trophies.

I tried some open sessions recently, and there were definaely a lot of people still playing, but if you are looking for efficient ways to level up or noose grind, then this will not work out so well.

The boosting thread is still VERY active to find people in order to level up in wanted, awp and all other online variations.

Ahhh...I apologize. I play auto-aim off and it's hard for me to find a game. Looks like many people play auto aim on in the public sessions.

You have nothing to worry about. Frankly, I would be surprised if GTA IV servers went down even after "the next GTA" is released. Of course, since R* "rents" their servers (or whatever cockamamie bullshit system they use), I wouldn't rule anything out.

Regardless, GTA IV servers aren't going down this year, and they probably won't go down next year, either.
