Anyway...I am back to report! So here is what I experienced...as it is different than the last guy. I deleted the game data, reinstalled, loaded the game. Nothing popped into my inbox. I was very...not happy. Took a snooze in a safe house with my fingers crossed. Woke up and nothing. I was so displeased that I furiously went through my texts again....and Stevie's had appeared! Went to find the car, and there it was! Now. I find this extremely odd because I know his text wasn't there before the delete, as I went through each text meticulously. But after the reboot, his text appeared somewhere near the top of my inbox, already opened. I don't understand ...but I will take it! ![]() With regards to updating the guide...I guess it appears that there are at least two variations of what may happen. In my case, unlike the last, I had never been contacted by Stevie to begin with. Maybe that's why my results were different, albeit still positive. At any rate, thanks man! I appreciate you getting back to me. Glad you could assist with my little snafu and now potentially save others from the ridiculous grief the other guy and myself went through ![]() p.s. Thanks for the guide! Clearly a lot of work. |

![]() Real happy for you man, we've all had a trophy play up on us and it's no kind of fun. It seems to me that the delete game data method is the definitive cure then, albeit to varying degrees. I will update the guide to advise others of what to do and that it will either immediately pop up, or if it doesnt, to check through your texts as it will have miraculously appeared ! Im just pleased I could help man, but thank you very kindly for your gratitude. It's what makes me write guides like this

I'd have to say the most frustrating trophy I had while playing this game was the hidden packages one. I (unfortunately) decided to use the copy of the in-game whattheydonotwantyoutoknow.com map to find all of the pigeons, and lo and behold, the maps were missing one dot. Over in southwest alderney, there's one blip absent from their maps. I was so pissed at myself for ten minutes for somehow doing a 'killed that one but ragequit game because i got busted and lost all my weapons'. Instead of looking for all of them over again, I chose to count up everything because I was so sure that I'd done it the right way. Missing link found. How frustrating.

Quick question about using a couple of the in-game cheats (health/armour, ammo, etc)...
I very nearly wrapped up my 100% run in the game last week, to the point where the last thing I needed was the final pigeon. After working through them all, I got to the last one - and found out that it wasn't the last one at all! When I killed it, the message showed "1 Flying Rat left". Needless to say, I was rather p*ssed off. So I backtracked through all 200 locations again, and still couldn't find the last one. Tried a THIRD time, and still nothing! Evidently, the last pigeon has glitched on me and wasn't loaded by the game; this happened to a friend as well. So, I've taken the perhaps drastic step of starting a second 100% run, and have managed to reach 26% completion within the space of 24 hours. I've started using the above cheats to speed things up, and have just started to receive the "X trophy blocked" notifications. I know that cheats block 4 specific trophies such as Cleaned The Mean Streets, but I already have those 4. So if I complete the game again whilst still using cheats, will the 100% trophy be affected (and also the LCM trophy when I go for that)? If I beat it again and end up being cheated out of the trophy, I really won't be able to handle doing it all again. Two complete runs is already more than enough for me. |

^^^ Honestly mate ? I have no idea. First time its been raised and so far as I recall, nobody has posted in this guide so far your question. My only advice would be to trawl the web for an answer but failing that, you would be the test case Im afraid.
