What aids are you using btw? You may find it useful to try Skid Recovery Force or maybe ASM in stead. When I did these races I used ASM I think, but turning off that and using Skid Recovery Force may be even better. Play around wiht Traction Control (TC) as well. I usually have this at 1 for every car, this included, but some might find it useful to bump it up to 5. Any more than that is not required unless absolutely neccecary.

And if you haven't allready, change braking and acceleration to and .

It's called Formula GT World Championship for a reason. Only FGT's allowed.

I tried like twice and just quit on it.

The F1 car is trash for its own competition. All others, it rules.

Can you use the X2010 for this, really!!!

Please say yes. Because I'm just about to give up on this because I don't have any other car that I can use for this event

Edit: NVM, Pesico just answered my question

Yeah, I'm already using L2 and R2 for brakes and acceleration, respectively. As for the aids, I don't mess with them too much unless the trophy guide tells me to.

Really?

I thought I saw a topic somwhere here that talked about that you could use it. Maybe I read it wrong.

And about the other thing, you can use the Lexus IS car on one of the " German Touring car championship only cars" so just because a series of races says one thing doesn't mean you cant use some other brand of cars. Maybe the Lexus is the exception on this game.

I wasn't meaning the name itself would be "correct" for every race, just meant this one was named correctly Rather than looking at the name, just check the race requirements. They tell you what are allowed or not.

2 more questions:

Some people say they altered their transmissions, brakes, etc. for each race. Does it matter? and is default setting or the settings shown under b-spec in the trophy guide better for the car tuning?

Still confused about the tuning. I just want to use what the majority is using and go with that. I know if I stick to a method, I'll eventually pass it (just like some of those tough liscence tests ).

As I said earlier, the tuning for the Formula Gran Turismo is meant for both A-Spec and B-Spec.

Transmission is very important. Some tracks you need top speed, other tracks (like Cote d'Azur) you need acceleration. And it's slight variations on each track depending on how long the longest stretch is.

just a tip for racing in Monaco, change the suspension to 10/10 bumpy. i went in with the default setting at 5/5 and i couldn't get any higher than 2nd.

i cleared all gold when doing it first time on championship mode (failed monaco obviously because i had 5/5) but went to re-do with 10/10 and won right away. i had a lead of over 5 seconds in the last lap and only won by 0.5 seconds. i think AI goes up another level in the last lap.

the most problematic race for me was nurburgring (although the AI will almost always spin after chicane if they're in the lead - narrow track and i go off as well). the first two races and nurburgring i took about 5 laps to learn the track, and the other 3 i've played on f1 2010. stay on the track, and try not to go onto the gravel. take it slow even and you can block the AI.

i used DS3 with d-pad x and o and auto (because this is what i used in F12010 and i was comfortable with it)

Thanks mate,
I'm still at Fuji with my transmissions at 420 KM. I think a lower setting will be better for me, but i'll keep looking until i find the right settings.

@wookiie
thanks mate, I'll keep that in mind once i get to that race
