Pesico
General Tips GT Auto: - Do an Oil Change after you buy both new and used cars for a slight increase in BHP - Do an Oil Change regularly on cars you use to maintain Horse Power - On cars you use a lot, it might be wise to do an engine overhaul. It can be expensive so wait until your car is significantly slower than usual Tuning: - Struggling with a race? Make sure you have picked the best tyre type possible B-Spec Drivers: When you create drivers, you might want to get a few different driver styles. At the creation screen, you'll see if they are more towards red (hot headed) or more towards blue (cold hearted). - Hot Headed drivers: They are good at overtaking and handling pressure (when the bar gets toward the red part during the race). To keep them at good pace, they should be around 75% towards the red. The drawback with hot headed drivers is that when they are relaxed and ahead of the other drivers, they get slower (e.g. you have to keep them towards the red). - Cold Hearted Drivers: These are very good once they are ahead. They are good when the bar during races are towards the blue and they can put in decent lap times without any input. Their big drawback is that they really suck at overtaking. - If you struggle in a race with a cold hearted driver, try a hot headed one and you just might do a lot better. [CARNAME] LV X: A car listed with a LV requirement in red means the car is of a higher level than the race. This is only mentioned for Dealership, Used Car Dealership and Online Collector's Dealership cars. You only need to get either A-Spec or B-Spec up to the required level to buy it. An example: You are Level 10 in A-Spec and Level 1 in B-Spec. You can buy cars up to level 10, but you can still race them in B-Spec. Under the name of a car it will say A-Spec and then what parts you need to buy to get the car competitive. Under that line there will say B-Spec. For the car to be competitive in B-Spec, you have to buy the parts for both A-Spec and B-Spec. If neither A-Spec or B-Spec is mentioned, the tip is for A-Spec only. Pesico
Endurance Series In the Endurance Series races it's not so much about finding the right car as it is to make them go as fast as possible. With that in mind, I will recommend the fastest possible car at any given level. That means the Formula Gran Turismo until you get the Red Bull X2010. You can get the X2010 by getting at least bronze in the Red Bull Challenge Special Event (unlocked at LV 30) or when you reach B-Spec LV 35. I will also list the time I got in those races along with XP/Min. In B-Spec races, I use the time it takes when not giving any orders. In timed endurance races, I will list the amount of laps the AI finishing in 2nd place under dry conditions. While these numbers should be very accurate, I take no responsibility if they drive longer in your race. The idea is that you use the fastest car available and when you have driven more laps then you know the AI will do, you can stop the car right before the finish line, then come back and cross it right after the race have reached 4, 9 or 24 hours depending on the race time. This way you don't have to drive for the entire race and can save up to 8 hours on Le Mans 24 Hour for example. I do recommend checking back the last hour to make sure you're safely in the lead. Blessorship
Is this for A-Spec only? There are many cars I can kill an A-Spec race with, but won't even get close to winning with a level 19 driver in B-Spec.
Pesico
Is this for A-Spec only? There are many cars I can kill an A-Spec race with, but won't even get close to winning with a level 19 driver in B-Spec. Only for A-Spec so far, but I'm planning on showing signs on the cars that work well for B-Spec as well. I wanna make this the ultimate guide for what cars to use and I'm gonna need help from everyone reading this.

Hayden
Extreme Series European Championship entry requirements: european car I used the Audi R10 TDI Stealth Line but a decent european car will do, the best car I raced againts was an Audi TT German Touring Car Championship Entry requirements: MUST be a touring car Dont have one yet and have not seen any in the used car dealership Super GT Entry Requirements: Japanese Car I used the Toyota Minolta 88C-V Race car I won from a previous event or you can use Maza 787B Stealth Model. To make this really complete why not add in number of races, what circuit, number of laps, prize money and prize car, ill help where I can. Pesico
Great suggestion Hayden. I will include Prize Cars to if possible. I'm keeping note of that stuff anyway. Vilens: I will put A-Spec and B-Spec requirements underneath every car. Edited November 28, 2010 by Pesico
jbrist
This will be a nice guide to follow, but you don't have the Gran Turismo Allstars race done yet, which is where I'm stuck at the moment, haha. By the way, what level do you unlock the endurance races at?

Muckraker740
Thanks for the time and effort on this Pesico. I have spent SO MANY CREDITS getting the wrong cars to the point where they can win some of the events. It's like 200,000 credits to win 3 3-lap races and I only end up getting like 30,000 credits in winnings. Can't get very far in the game like that! I expect this guide to help a ton. I am currently a level 16.
Pesico
Important notice: Since I have a lot of the stealth and chrome line edition cars, I have used those for some of the races. That is great for those that have those cars, but not so much for the many more that don't. In every race where the only suggestion is in the "Special Edition or DLC Cars" category, I need everyones help to come up with suggestions on what type of cars. Keep in mind, dealership and prize cars take priority over used cars. Cars that can be used in more than one race also takes priority. With that said, don't be afraid to suggest cars. I need help from everyone.
