I got wins from everything but oval over a year ago, oval is bad because you cant get your driver to leave the pack behind due to slipstreaming nor do they block opponents from overtaking at last meters.

EDIT: Did it now. Didn't even remember there were 2 ovals in the series, the one i had left uncompleted was Daytona. Had a well broken in Camry, changed oil and it was at nearly 900hp. Used lvl 40 driver with green status and managed to break away from the pack around halfway through. Nearly pushed too much and destroyed tires (opponents caught up 1,5 sec on last lap) but now its done.

Naturally i will get the 24 hour races done on B-spec. After that i will have all b-spec golds besides the Nascar oval race. Now, will i need to gold that oval event (I have A-spec gold from it) to get gold standard?
As I recall, you don't have to actually win all of the races in the "series" events, you just have to win the points competition over a complete run of the series. Isn't NASCAR one of those?

Yeah you might actually be right. One of the formula GT races i forfeited and it is still yet to receive a result yet i have the gold standard.

Formula GT: turn up the assists. The car is quite controllable with TC, SRF, etc., and you don't have to win every race to get the gold.

AMG specials: Run the 'Ring 24 hour race, or run the 4 hour race several times. It's amazing how much time you can take off your laps with experience. I was nowhere near gold on the AMG events the first time I tried them, but I found them relatively easy when I went back with a bunch of experience on the track.

My next goal in GT5 is to get enough money to buy a redbull car so I can practice with it.

Also, do you get one car for driving more than 1000km on one track?
