I agree. Easy and pretty short Platinum.

The game was enjoyable to me, but there were quite some annoying things in it (poor controls, poor AI, weird carphysics etc). EA could have made more out of this.

I loved the first one for the Wii. The graphics seemed better on the Wii version, I got this game in the bargain bin so it was worth the money.

I didn't really like the game at first, but given a few hours I am starting to like the Don's view and sending my goons to bomb places. The stats area is also very helpful for trophies to know what you are missing.

I had a great time playing the game and it's pretty cheap (I got it for twenty bucks). There are some weird glitches and it's not as good as some of the other Free-Roam games (GTA, Red Dead, etc.) but for you, it'd probably be perfect because there's not as much to do which will prevent you from getting distracted from your studies but there's enough there that when you do play, you'll have a good time. The platinum is extremely easy, albeit watch out for a few trophies that you can't unlock without another play through if you passed it up.

i got this game for $10 and it was awesome at that price! i do have a few complaints, though. the graphics are *very* PS2. this game was probably in development for PS2 but ported to PS3. the car physics are ASS.

on the flipside, it is pretty fun going around killing everyone in sight, taking over businesses, and looking for safes to crack. i also think it's hilarious some of the voice gaffes that happen... such as one of your guys setting a bomb, and after he sets it acting really really surprised there's a bomb there and runs off yelling and cussing.

that being said, i started playing this game late friday night and platted it early sunday. if you play in short bursts you may get a lot out of it. otherwise, it'll be over right about the time you're really getting into it.

i got this game on thursday... $10 from ebay including shipping.... it doesnt even begin to compare with GTA IV. the cities are TINY... you can literally drive from one end of new york to the other in about 30 seconds. there are about 5 different varieties of cars. there are hardly any missions. the car dynamics are absolutely horrendous... there is nothing more annoying in the game than hitting another car at full speed and hearing this awful BANG. like someone bashing 2 garbage can lids together.... also the game is pretty much like trying to get through a maze... unlike GTA IV where you can climb, swim, drop down from ledges, and basically utilize your entire surroundings, this game doesnt even let you climb over a knee high ledge... only in special pre designated areas does it let u even climb over a knee high ledge. thankfully i only paid $10 for this after craving a GTA IV like game and so i dont feel like a complete fool.. if i had paid full retail i would probably have cried. i cant wait for mafia 2, it should blow this crap outta the park... but at least i got a cheap platinum, only my second so far

agreed... some of the worst car physics i've ever seen. in GTAIV if you sideswipe a car you may have a little bump and you'll keep going. in this game you come to a complete halt like you ran into the side of a mountain or something. i'm not saying this game wasn't fun for the price, but i did find myself preferring to run wherever i could. driving was such a terrible chore...
