it's very easy mate. just use the Blade of Artemis. do double jump straight up, then at the top of your jump press and hold triangle and Kratos will slam the blade down. if you get a hit on an enemy, most of the time he will get knocked off the platform ! you can even use the left stick to adjust the direction of the slam while you're in mid-air. just keep repeating this move over and over and you'll get to the top very quickly. only thing is just try to stay in the middle ofthe platform and jump straight up.

I found that using that move left me vulnerable to being flipped over the side. I used L1 and X all the time. It took quite a while and some luck was involved but I managed it after a lot of swearing and crying.

Hopefully you've gotten it Nick, but yeah--this one took me a few tries until I gave the Blade of Artemis jump method described above. This goes for the challenge of the Titans in GoW 2 as well, but the best bet when you get stuck is to simply give it a rest and try the next day.

I tried several tactics I had seen recommendations on (including a couple that involved Blade of Artemis, both of which got me nowhere fast), before I tried the L1+X spamming. I immediately started getting further and further along as soon as I tried spamming L1+X. I wound up finishing the level about 20 minutes later. I wound up using mostly L1+X, with a little L1+O mixed in, and some roll-evade+X to get myself back to the center, when I strayed too far out. I had a couple tries where I was ALMOST there, before getting thrown off. On my successful run, that last jump up to the next level made me pretty nervous. I was sure I was going to botch it.

Just finished the challenge. Literally shaking with nerves. I was down to a small sliver of health and just ran for the platform as soon as I could jump over there. It really is all luck. I tried every method on this board and L1+X worked for me finally, but it takes a lot of timing. You have to just handle each satyr as he comes to you and take them out. The problem I was having was I was trying to either spam L1+X continuously or I was trying to take out all the enemies at once. Focus on one at a time and just keep going. I considered quitting and trying again another day but I really did not want to have to face challenge 8 ever again.
