God of War 1 & 2 or Dantes Inferno?

Should I buy God of War 1 and 2 or Dante's Inferno?

I have played God of War 3 and I liked it very much.
Since GOW 1 & 2 has almost the price as Dante's Inferno I am not sure which I should get.

God of War 1 & 2 is remastered in HD, but the videos in between seems to be in bad quality. At least that's what I heard, that the videos where not edited and remastered in HD.

That's why I am considering Dante's Inferno since it has very good graphics and the short videos are of good quality. But the GOW Collection has two games so I would probably get more for my money.

What do you guys think?

The videos in GOW are on par with Dante's Inferno, so I wouldn't worry so much about that. But I would probably recommend Dante's Inferno. The game is well made and I think you'll enjoy a game that's a bit different. I loved Dante's Inferno for the way it depicted the poem and imagery. It's up to you if you want more GOW or to try something else. ALSO Dante's Inferno comes with the divine edition which is a plus....

I'd go with the God og War collection. Dante's Inferno is very repetative and fails to motivate you to actually finish the game whereas God of War delivers on fun, wanting you to finish the story and actally making you root for the guy.

And graphics wise, yes GoW is a bit dated and propably not the best showcase title for the remastered series, but it's still looking good. The only thing that really wasn't updated are the cutscenes.

I would go with God of War collection, while Dante's inferno is a good game, to me it always felt just a little sub par to GoW.

I have only played a little of Dante's Inferno, but for me it’s more of a story reason. I actually played the whole GoW series to follow the story line instead of release date. Since you have finished GoW 3 and might be interested in the back story, I would defiantly recommend the GoW: Collection.

I'd recommend them all. If you have to choose, go for God of War 1 & 2. They're amazing games. Get Dante's Inferno, too, when you have the spare cash. It's an awesome game.

I'd go with the GOW collection, Dantes Inferno is repettive all the way through while these games are fun to play.

well the best way to answer this is which is better 1 or 2? With dante you get 1 game with kratos you get 2.

GoW collection is better IMO. Story-wise for sure... it's not as repetitive either. My friend had the game, and he didn't even finish it... I didn't really enjoy it as much as GoW. Plus you get 2 games

I say start by picking up the God Of War: Collection, then if you find Dante's Inferno for a cheap price buy it, it's a great game.
