took me 3 tries to beat her..just counter her attacks, stay very close to her, she will keep attacking you without doing any magical attack. counter hit easy

I recently just beat her mainly by parrying her attacks with then using and to hit her and place an exploding core on her. That'd blow up and when she summons the ravens just kill them with and roll out of the way immediately after because she usually attacks as soon as you finish the animation. When she summons the void simply roll in the opposite direction with and repeat until the big is above her head. The first stage is the only difficult one the other three are a piece of cake.

I thought she was fairly simple in comparison to other GOW boss's just parry her attacks n be patient, however her vortex attack makes this fight seem near impossible at times

she killed me a few times but i didn't have any trouble use the atlantis ability...that takes care of the birds i played the game on hard the first time

Killed the dark sexy lady after a few tries: parry -> (R1 + T), Thera's Bane upgraded - works just fine. You can even put two searing cores on her, if you parry two attacks in a row

Well if it's the hardest boss on the Hard Mode, then...

the only annoying attack she has is the void one she randomly pulls while parrying her attacks, you can simply block nearly all of her moves and parry them for double the results so i don't know what the big deal is.

got mine within 4 tries no luck involved. got 2 more tries on top of that but those two wern't related to battle. one's a clumsy death by the collapsing wooden bridge i didn't forsee and the other one was a floor glitch, when i jumped off that same wooden bridge the next try i fell through the rock :/

like i said, it's do able, when it comes to that the vid in the description is a bad example, the guy gave her the room to perform much more attacks then needed, parry at the right time and watch her HP go down, you'll see.

I got past this on Hard today and all I can say is parry, parry, parry. If you don't learn the timings of it, then you're toast. I'd whack her with fire blades in order to place a core on her, and then I'd block as soon as she retailiated. I couldn't stop her from summoning the birds, so what I did to overcome that was to grab and kill two of them and then block (Erinys starts attacking you again after you grab and kill two birds.) After that, you can kill the third bird and then concentrate on her again.

Ok I was having a nightmare with this battle but from watching this video I think i was making the fight more difficult then it needed to be.

I never used the flame but had upgraded it, so up to you. did excatly the same as the video, Square 3 times and then parry when she attacks, I hardly lost any health and was amazed how easy it was. shame this was after the gf had a moan at me for all the shouting I was doing.

Sorry it's not the greatest quality but it helped and that is the main thing.

EDIT - note that it won't take half as long on Spartan mode.

I did what hungherk did in the second post.
L1 to parry and then square or triangle. Once only.
If you don't miss the parry, you'll hit her every time.
Don't use any other attack and only attack once immediately after the parry.

She will never release the birds. You can repeat this all the way through.

Now just to find the answer for beating those three blue dirtbags with the big rocks held over their heads.

Very simple.

It's essential that you upgrade AT LEAST level 2 the Arms of Sparta, then once you get to that part you'll get attacked by 5 or 6 birds, be sure you leave ONE BIRD ALIVE!

When the geryon spawns attack it with the spear at long distance, it'll take around 15 spear attacks (be extra careful when it disappears because it'll slam the rock on top of your head, just roll away from it)...

When the O button appears, kill it and then the bird...

After that, stay at the bottom of the screen because those 2 other dorks will spawn and that's where the battle begins...

Just do the same for them, be sure to throw Scourge of Erynis at them to regain some health...

Good luck, because this is the hardest fight in the whole game, the rest is very easy, even the 4 wraiths/2 cyclops battle....
