The challenges

Every gow has a trophy for the challenges, are the ones in these games single like gow 3? Or do you have to do them all in one sitting like gow1 & 2?

only 1 you had to do in a sitting... 2 could be done at youre leisure like the rest..

Do we have to do both Ares' challenges and Athena's challenges?

you have to do both. But each on you can do at your own paste.
Personally I found these challenges to be the most easy of the god of war series

You can do atena until you unlock stuff at the temple of zeus

In this FAQ, this guy states the following:

Can someone confirm if this is true for the PS3 port? It may have been true in the PSP version, but I'd like to know if it works here.

Strange. I played the challenges last night and I thought to myself "These guys are super easy" I did play the game on easy for the first time just to fly through the game and get most of the trophies.

The challenges are definitely very easy compared to the other GoW.

I do feel the enemies die as fast as my Normal save file.
