Default Honestly i really like that their doing this but...

Its a bit of a jab for me being as i had finally adopted a Psp last fall specifically for Ghost of Sparta or rather the Limited edition Ghost of Sparta Psp bundle.

I was able to play through Chains of Olympus thanks to a good friend letting me borrow his game and system and i absolutely loved it, but after the time just couldnt afford a Psp. But when Ghost of Sparta was shown @ e3 last year i told myself it was time to buy a Psp so i can play these "exclusive" games.

Im still very proud of my Psp bundle purchase, it was a great deal packed with goods any fun loving GoW fan like myself would enjoy!
However now that i see this it just kinda pricks at me, you know.

Anyone else relate?

Not in your position, so no. But then again, I wouldn't buy a PSP because of a game I want to play. I do own a PSP and I really love the GoW series, however, since I never actually use my PSP, I didn't want to spend money on these 2 for the PSP. So I'm really glad they're bringing this to the PS3.

You say you're a GoW fan, so why not just see it as another chance to play the PSP titles, but in HD and of course with trophies as an extra.

And I'm sure you've also bought other PSP games so that GoW wasn't the only game you've played on it.

It will certainly be fun to play them each again on my big tv with all the perks to boot, GoS was just the game that ultimately made me really want to get my own Psp because i didnt want to miss out on it after listening to all the exclusive talk at the time.

Yes i have also picked up several other enjoyable Psp titles since then, but the GoS Psp bundle was a great start imo since it had both GoW Psp titles i wanted, which when i added everything it had up seperately it seemed like a deal to not let slip by.

Im not hating on it or mad about it, i just find it to be a jab ironic from my personal perspective.

Absolutely, I can relate.

Mine is an expensive story. I bought my (non-Backwards compatible) PS3 in February 2009, about 2 months later I found I wasn't using my PS2 anymore so I sold it and all the games that I had (including GoW 1 & 2), 3 months after that I decided that I missed playing GoW 1 & 2 so I re-purchased a PS2 and both those games, then the very next month after that Sony announced the HD collection of GoW 1 & 2 on the PS3.... So guess what I did next?

I simply sold both PSP games for credit. I spend more time using my PSP to listen to musics than playing games.

i owned a psp for a week (got it for $2) but i got rid of it cause its internet didnt work and it was a psp 1000 (i prefer games on television) (i made my 20 back) but i intended on getting a new psp 3000 so itll have functioning internet (as opposed to my old used one) and get the games and be able to play on the go, and on tv, this qworks out alot better, especially because of the hd capabilities, dualshock support, and trophies (yes i am a supporter of achievements/trophies) so it worked out really well for me, but i can see where you are coming from considering being told it was exclusive and them not hinting at it being only a matter of time before its exclusivity is up

To the OP, I know exactly where your coming from, my PSP was not even a year old, I bought the much better PSP3000 model (PSPGo sucks) and both GOW games, and MGS Peace Walker, now all are coming to PS3 so I made a tough decision and sold my PSP last week, no need for it now. I managed to sell it for £160 with 8 games and a 1 year warranty, I consider that an excellent price so no regrets. We spent the money towards a Nintendo 3DS (gasp) which happens to be a fantastic little handheld!!

Red face

Im really happy that they are doing this one for people who don't have a psp and have a PS3 can experience the game on a bigger screen and trophy support and also people that might have played it already on psp can experience it again on a different level. So i cant wait till this game hits stores!
