Introduction

Finally, the personalized health and fitness program you've always wanted in a way you've never dreamed possible. PlayStation Move technology makes it possible. You and Mel B make it FUN and EFFECTIVE. Personal trainer, nutrition coach and motivator: Mel B is here for YOU.

Roadmap

The only real way to go about getting the platinum for this game is to exercise day-by-day and get better at doing so! Only a few trophies involve doing anything besides just exercising.

1) Start by making your fitness profile, which will require height, weight, body shape, and birthday. In order for all exercises to show up, you must have a Step, or at least something that you can step onto. If you have a Wii Fit Balance Board, that works fine. The game just needs to register that you're stepping up a few inches. You also need to check off that you have ankle and wrist weights, which the game does not recognize as you having on or off anyways.

2) Workout everyday for at least two weeks, checking the nutrition menu everyday for a week.

3) Keep on exercising and Get Fit!

Trophy Guide

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/774/02.jpgFeel The Burn

(B)Complete your first Workout

You will get this when you complete your first workout. After you've done the full workout, without quitting, it will pop. You can either do this through "Today's Workout" or "Choose Workout".

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/774/03.jpgDrop And Give Me 1000

(B)Done 1000 press-ups on toes

This is accumulative, you should get this after doing various "Fitness" workouts. Create a custom workout and choose any combination of "Press-ups", "Staggered press-ups", and "Cat crawl press-ups". Create a custom workout with any or all of those three workouts to ensure you get them into your routine.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/774/04.jpgAbs Of Steel

(B)Done 1000 long-arm crunches

This is accumulative, you should get this after doing various "Fitness" workouts. Create a custom workout to ensure you get this particular exercise in your routine.

(B)Raised any category's Fitness Level by 10

Please see "The Triple" below

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/774/08.jpg99...100

(B)Complete 100 reps

Please see "999...1000" below

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/774/09.jpg499...500

(B)Complete 500 reps

Please see "999...1000" below

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/774/10.jpg999...1000

(B)Complete 1000 reps

This is accumulative, and you'll get this within a few days worth of exercise. You should get to 100 within your first exercise session, and 500 within your third, and 1000 after five or six. It depends on the particular exercises Mel sets up for you, and how long you workout. A rep is one repetition of a single exercise. You'll do numerous reps in a workout, and it'll only take a few hours worth of workouts to complete 1000. Under your progress, check your stats to see how many reps you've accumlated.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/774/11.jpgFlash Dancer

(B)Collected over 350 Stars in a Dance Aerobics Workout

You collect Stars after each individual dance move / exercise during a dance session. The better you do, the more Stars you'll get. If you don't get enough Stars during a 30 minute workout, try upping the time to get more Stars overall. You must collect them all in one workout, so if you miss it, try upping your workout time before you start to allow more time to accumulate more stars.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/774/12.jpgGoing Up?

(B)Climbed the equivalent of the Empire State Building[/b]

This is accumulative, and you'll get this by doing various step exercises. The Empire State Building is rather high, and it will take a while to accumulate enough steps to get this. Create a custom workout using exercises utilizing the step to ensure you get them in your routine.

Note: You need to tell the system you have a Step in order for the Step exercises to appear. If you have a Wii Balance Board that comes with Wii Fit, that will work. Otherwise, if you don't have a Step, find something you can step up on and off of. Be sure it's a secure and stable object so you don't fall off while stepping on it.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/774/13.jpgPumped

(B)Lifted the equivalent of a SUV in Pump and Tone

This is accumulative, and you'll get this by doing Pump and Tone exercises. You must accumulate the weight of an SUV by doing the Pump And Tone Exercises. Create a custom workout with workouts in Pump And Tone that have "(Weights)" at the end of them to ensure you boost this trophy.

NOTE: You need to tell the system you have ankle and wrist weights in order for these exercises to show up. The game will not know if you have them or not, so you can do the exercises and do fine.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/774/14.jpg20 Run

(B)Done 20 good reps in a row

During your workout, you'll have a number in the top right corner, and the box will be green if you did the rep well. If you do 20 in a row without the box turning yellow or red, you'll get this trophy! Create a custom workout with 20 or more reps of an exercise you're good at and try to keep it green.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/774/15.jpgPerfect 10

(B)Done 10 perfect reps in a row

This is a bit harder than the 20 good reps. You have to perfectly in sync, meaning your bar on the right should be near the top during 10 reps. If the box in the right corner is green and your accuracy bar on the right is at the top, you'll accumulate a perfect rep. Create a custom workout with 20 reps of an exercise you're good at to make accomplishing this easier. You can get "20 Run" while aiming for this if you create a 20 reps.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/774/16.jpgFirst Gold

(B)Won a gold medal in a workout

Depending on how well you do, you'll get either a bronze, silver, or gold medal after you finish a workout. To get this quickly, create a custom workout of two different exercises with only a few reps, then finish it. You must be accurate, and complete all reps without the box in the right corner going yellow or red. At the end of each exercise you'll get an accuracy percentage,

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/774/18.jpgJust A Snack

(B)Burned off a chocolate bar

Please see "Party Season" below.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/774/19.jpgOne Large Pepperoni

(B)Burned off a pizza

Please see "Party Season" below.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/774/20.jpgParty Season

(B)Burned off a Christmas dinner

All the trophies involving burning off food are actually an accumulative of your calories burned. You have to exercise to burn off calories, and it keeps track of your calories under your profile. However, the trophies seem to randomly pop. It seems burning more calories in individual workouts gets these trophies, but you may get "Party Season" before "Just A Snack". Unfortunately, the game does not say how many calories each item consists of, so there's no way to track them.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/774/21.jpgWhat's For Lunch?

(B)Followed the menu every day for a week

Just check the menu everyday, look at each meal/snack, and read the preparation and ingredients. Do that everyday for a week! If you click any additional menus, it will reset as it will think you didn't follow the menu. So don't look through the other options while aiming for this.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/774/23.jpgPractice Makes Perfect

(B)Practiced five different exercises

Under practice, just choose a workout to practice, and practice for however many reps you wish. Do that for five different exercises and you'll have this trophy. You can do this with any of the "Fitness" or "Aerobics" exercises. You only parctice one at a time, and only need to do a few reps.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/774/24.jpgVariety

(B)Completed at least one workout of each workout type

The quickest way to get this is by creating a custom workout of each type of workout, Fitness, Dance, Cardio, Advanced Cardio, Step, Combat, and Pump 'n' Tone. Just make it up of a few different exercises and finish it. If you do that for all of the different workouts, you'll also pick up "My Workout", "My Aerobics", "Fit Crowd", "Dance Off", "Fat Burner", "Front Runner", "Best Foot Forward", "Warrior", and "Toned".

(B)Get to level 70 in three categories

Please see "The Triple" below.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/774/06.jpg25 Levels Up

(S)Raised any category's Fitness Level by 25

Do well in a workout and your level should raise up. You need to improve since your last workout for the level to raise. Workout longer, and try to be accurate with your reps. You can check your level at the end of a workout or under Stats in the Your Progress menu.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/774/07.jpgDriven

(S)You have exercised every day for two weeks

Kind of straight forward. Just load up the game everyday and exercise! You can create a custom workout so you don't have to workout long if you're having a lazy day so you don't miss a day! If you're trying to get it quickly, just do the minimum amount of reps for a single exercise and set the clock ahead. If you don't think you'll be able to play everyday, it's best to try to get this out of the way.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/774/17.jpgFull House

(S)Got a gold medal for all challenges

The challenges are just workouts that give you a medal. The better you do, the better your medal! Working out everyday will help you get better at it. Just be accurate and stay focused! You access them under the Choose Workout menu. There are five differnt challenges to do: "Dance", "Abs Attack", "Legs Of Steel", "Fighting Fit" and "Cardio Test". You can't customize them, so be prepared for it!

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/774/22.jpg60 Min Burn

(S)Completed a 60 minute Aerobics Workout of any type with a score over 90%

This requires you to workout for 60 minutes straight. Choose whichever aerobics workout you prefer, and set the time to 60 minutes. Your average at the end needs to be 90% or higher. It's best to do a custom workout with about 20 reps each of certain exercises that you are best at. Try to keep a variety and keep it well balanced, as you'll be doing it for an hour. You'll want to have warm-up and cool-down turned on, it'll count as part of the 60 minutes, and it doesn't actually track how well you do. You can pause and it will still count, just pause while the screen is zoomed in on Mel's face so you can jump back in without it messing up your progress and percentage. At the end of each exercise it will show your percentage, you want it at or above 90%! The best thing you can do is take a break if you're worn out or have someone else do part of it. You can pause and come back, but pause while it's zoomed into Mel's face so it doesn't mess up your percentage.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/774/46.jpgProfessional

(S)Reach level 90 in any category

Please see "The Triple" below.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/774/49.jpgHat Trick

(S)Reach level 80 in three categories

(S)Reach level 90 in three categories

Please see "The Triple" below.

(G)Reach level 100 in any category

Please see "The Triple" below.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/774/51.jpgThe Triple

(G)Reach level 100 in three categories

Raising your level requires you to workout and get better in a category. Continue to get better, raise your level, and workout daily, and you'll raise up your fitness level. Reach level 100 in three of them to get this and all other level-related trophies. After you've done the 20 workouts for each type, if you're not at 100 in three already, focus on the three you do best in, and do those daily until you've raised your level up enough!

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/774/27.jpgDance The Night Away

(H)Completed an Aerobics Workout between 12:00am and 2:00am

Self explanatory. You can either do a quick workout at that time, or set your PS3's clock. Just do a dance workout between 12:00am or 2:00am and you'll get this after you finish the workout.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/774/28.jpgEarly Worm

(H)Completed a Fitness Workout between 5:00am and 7:00am

Self explanatory. You can either do a quick workout at that time, or set your PS3's clock. Just do a Fitness workout between 5:00am and 7:00am and you'll get this after you finish the workout.

can't you just change the date on your PS3 and do like 10 workouts a day?

and isn't it posseble to move the controller in a sertain way to make the PS3 think your doing a workout while you just sitting around?

btw do you already have 50% done? otherwhise you can't post the guide jet...

You can do 10 workouts a day, but you still need to exercise for at least 15 minutes. There's no way to trick it, because it scans your body and watches you and uses the Move to track you. So, no, you do actually HAVE to workout.

I'm only a few short of 50%, but yeah.... Most of the trophies are the same, just different workouts, so it's a matter of not doing all of them 20 times.

Qucik question. I got the "burn a christmas dinner" trophie, but not the pizza one. Is it glitchted, or do you actually get the pizza after the chrismas. The thing is that on my stats there are a pizza at the picture (and more). So anyone got the pizza one?

Good question Donkey on changing the date. Has anyone tried this yet for the trophy? And does it let you PAUSE during the 60 minute straight workout?

You can pause during any workout, just make sure you do it while it's zoomed in on Mel, or during the "Water Break" or you will likely screw up and risk not getting the 90%.

Could you be more specific on the time requirement for platinum? I know it will vary based on skill and the amount of time you dedicate, but if I workout 1 hour a day will it take me 30 days? 40 days?

I would say it takes between 30 and 60 days, a lot depends on your actual performance. You need to do at least 20 of each workout type, so if you're doing two 30 minute workouts a day, it'll take 70 days at least. To get it faster, you could always do a custom workout of one exercise for the minimum reps, and keep repeating that. It won't raise your fitness level at all, but you can get those trophies out of the way, and probably bring it down to 30 days.

I'm not the best person when it comes to math, but here's how I break it down:

The average exercise is 15 minutes, so that's 4 exercises an hour. You need to do 20 exercises total to unlock a particular workout trophy, which should take you 5 hours total to accomplish. Since there are 7 of these trophies, it will take you a grand total of 35 hours to complete those workouts. If an average person does an hour a day and goes for the other trophies involved during or after their progress, they should be able to earn the platinum for this in 36+ days or 36 hours (there's one full 60 minute workout trophy, so it my take an extra day). Hope that helps :)

  • 4 weeks later...

what exactly does leveling up require? if i'm decent at an exercise and i do it over and over, will i eventually get to level 100, even if i don't get much better? what if i just increase the length of those workouts without improving my accuracy...do i get more points that way?

does a level 100 rating mean you can get like a 100% perfect score on a 15 minute workout?

I was thinking the same thing!!!

I'm getting 85-94% from the workouts and just today did the 60 minute dance workout for star & 60 min burn trophy (got 89% NOOOOOO!!!). Still no progress in levels... They can't require 100% reps 'cause it's freaking impossible

If you need to do x hours of some workout type it's going to take forever to reach the level 100. Just for the curiosity, which level did you start? I got level 50 in every workout first try...

Edit: Did a 15 minute step workout today with gold medal and advanced to the level 55. Maybe it is to do something with medals or the times you have worked out... Nevertheless there is light at the end of a tunnel x)
