How many memory cards and games did any of you start off with?

I have 8GB memory & 2 games; Uncharted & Rayman. Iv made a vow to myself to keep games at a minimum on the Vita so I can allow adequate playthrough time.

I started with a 4gb card and FIFA. soon after I picked up lumines, uncharted, rayman, UMvC and downloaded mutant blobs, motorstorm RC and all the AR apps and still had 2.5 gb free on my card.

I have only bought retail up until this point, but I am nervous carrying around a game case with games in it. If you have a full 10 game case you are talking about ~$500 worth of games that could easily get misplaced, have an extra mem card in there and thats a pretty devastating loss.

So I'm torn, I like being able to resell my games so the extra $5 isn't a big deal... but being forced to carry these very expensive carts around when they are easy to misplace or lose seems daunting....

And I guess if you buy 20 digital download games and save the $5 off each one you can use that $$ to buy a 32gb mem card hmmm I am torn now.

I started with 16 gb card and 2 retail games: Uncharted and Everybodys golf. I also bought Super Stardust Delta and Escape Plan from PSN.

I'd say so, but then it depends on how much you like digitial downloads, or if you have a lot of music and movies. Personally I think they are overpriced and don't mind copying things back and forth between vita and PS3.

4GB I think wouldn't be enough but if you like to have a couple of digital games on the go, some music and a film or two then the 8GB card will be fine.

If you want to go entirely digital and always keep all your games on your vita along with storing your entire music collection on your vita etc then you need to go bigger.

When I bought my vita, I only bought an 8 gig card. I figured i didn't need any higher gig card for now because I am only going to buy hard copy of games. That way I can let my friends buy it or borrow it.

I upgraded to 16gb because i had filled my 8gb stick with music
