PSOne games

Apologies if these has been talked about, could'nt find it anywhere.

Does anyone know when the PSOne games are gonna be available to play on the Vita?

I got rid of my PSP for the Vita thinkin i could get my PSOne games staight away but apparently they're being made available at a later date.

you have the right info, PSOne Classics are not available to play day one, however there are plans to add them at a later date.

also, I kept my PSP cuz PS Vita doesn't play UMDs and I wasn't about to replace all my PSP games with digital versions, because discs > digital.

and some of the games I have aren't even available digitally.

That's the same reason I'm keeping my PSP, don't play it very often but when I do I'm not gonna want to have to download the game on the Vita.

I've been going bonkers about the whole PS1 games not being playable at launch for some time now.

Still, no concrete news about when it will be up, but I hope it's sooner rather than later.

Now,i'm currently on the things the Vita CAN do, like play digital versions of PSP games only.....

Sad part is, the only PSP games I would even think about buying again just to play them, are not on the store!

Thanks, i got my main PSP games digitally anyway through Plus deals so that's why i had no real reason to keep a hold of my PSP.

If the games are available on the PSP's version of the store you could get them on there onto your PS3 (if you have one) then transfer them onto the Vita, that's what i did cos most of mine are'nt on the Vita store

Interesting.. I tried to Copy over Gran Turismo from my PS3 store and copy to my vita twice with no luck.

When I went through the vita store and checked "recent downloads" it showed Gran Turismo (amung others) as "Not Downloadable"

So, I don't want to buy a game from the PS3 store, and then it not be able to be transfered to my vita. I'm already wasting money once buy buying them again for the vita, I won't make it twice lol

They dont work. And it dosent seems like Sony is planing on making them work in the near future, if at all.

If you really want to play your ps1 classics for right now just use remote play.

Also I have heard they ARE going to be putting the feature on the Vita. If i can find the link that has the sony rep saying this. I will come back and post it.
