P.S. I have a bad feeling the trophy system might be ruined someday by the hackers from leaks in PSV. I know there are hackers now but it's minimal and restricted. Last edited by YokA_sun; 01-08-2012 at 04:47 AM. |

Glad I stumbled upon this thread, I would've been awful surprised the first time I popped in a game from Gamefly and it told me I couldn't earn trophies.
Edit: Oops, didn't realize the thread had been dead for a while. |

This is incorrect. as long as the game is set to factory settings, trophies can be earned. It's not really a big deal or hassle at all..... Takes like 2 extra minutes prior to playing a pre-owned game. Delete the save data on the game card, exit the game, delete the game data on your Vita, then restart the game. You;re good. It's quite simple, I have done it.

Ah gotcha. Yes, while it does state that, restoring the game card to factory settings by deleting the save data on the card, then deleting and reinstalling the game data on your system effectively tricks the game into never knowing that it was linked to a PSN (or SEN) account before yours.
